This is a small town popcorn and chocolate shop. What’s not to love? They make their own chocolates! The dark chocolate Caramel popcorn was pretty solid. I didn’t really like the chipotle cheese flavor and wanted something just plain cheesy, but there was only that. I like mixing the cheese and caramel and it didn’t go as well together as just a regular cheese would have. But other than that, it’s a cute little place!

Love this store! They always participate in community events and really get into it! The candy and popcorn are always fresh and delicious. The ice cream is amazing and on the cheaper end. We always look forward to going in and trying our luck at the vending machine! Pictures are from WizWeek 2020.

This is a must have whenever come back to visit. that or if I feel frisky I get it shipped. so so good.

Honestly love this store. I always go to this store for holiday or birthday gifts. The employees have always been friendly and welcoming. The only recommendation I have is to widen the selection a bit more. All in all I recommend coming here.

Stopped there with my daughter after a visit to KSU. Amazing place. Love the popcorn - we got both the cheddar and the kettle. My teenage daughter couldn’t stop eating it and gave it an 11 out of 10. Enough said.

Popped! makes great products (popcorn, candy, etc.) and the service is exceptional. Every time I go there I find something new that I like. Bonus: fast turnaround on gift orders.

The employees at Popped are always pleasant and friendly. Even during this challenging holiday season, they have been nothing but accommodating and friendly. And....the popcorn is great, too. 5 stars for Popped!!

Best popcorn in the area. Many different types and you can buy a little or a lot! All for reasonable prices. They also have many other types of treats if your sweet tooth prefers chocolates or caramels and more.

Yum...just yum! Everything is delicious, but especially the toffee and the caramel popcorn with peanuts.

First and last visit. Shop keeper seemed bothered to get off the phone to assist me. The actual popcorn was just ok. A lot of un popped kernels.

First time visiting. We wanted to support local for the holidays and purchase some gifts for our employees. The customer service today (12/22/2020 @ 11:15am) was absolutely unacceptable. The employee behind the counter was extremely rude and it was obvious that everyone in the store was an inconvenience to her. There were limited options available and she made it very clear what she “only” had and what she couldn’t do. We walked out.

I cannot praise this company enough! My fiance and I frequented this shop a few years ago when living in Kent. I made a bulk order online for my wedding and they were incredible with communication and customer service. Popped! has the most amazing caramel corn on the planet. Theres a seasonal version available only during the holidays that is delicious (with molasses, cinnamon, etc.) The only shop in Kent with homemade ice cream -- and lots of unique flavors including cookie of the day -- plus house made chocolates, caramel, peppermint bark (seasonal) and more. Theyre hitting it out of the park at this little independently owned downtown shop!

Im not always in the Kent area, but when I am, I usually stop here to grab some great popcorn. Several varieties are available and its made fresh with local ingredients ! My favorite is the Firehouse Caramel. Just a hint of spiciness really makes it special. Not only do they have popcorn but other treats as well, chocolates, marshmallows, candies, etc.

First time at Popped and we were immediately greeted by a very friendly employee. The place smells fabulous- like popped popcorn which they were doing when we visited. We took home some dark chocolate peppermint bark, black squirrel crunch, and a half dozen handmade chocolates. EVERYTHING was delicious and fresh, and the service was very friendly. They also have a wonderful selection of ice creams, and samples are free. We will definitely be back!!! Its a gem in Acorn Alley in Downtown Kent, Ohio.Visited November 2016

Went there the other day with my young son, he wanted some awesome popping corn and I heard Popped had the best popping corn in all of Ohio! (and let me tell you it defiantly is) i also loved the smell in there, something so delightful about walking into an establishment and the beautiful scents just slap me in the face hehe. i recommend this place to everyone i see it is such a great store(with the added bonus of smelling amazing)

Great popcorn store. I had the firehouse, salted caramel with peanuts and coffee caramel. Taste great. Other things like chocolates sold. Ice cream parlor for ice cream and shakes. Very nice place. A must stop when visiting the area.

I really like their ice cream. Great popcorn too. Owner is really nice and almost everything is made fresh in shop even the ice cream. I really recommend this place. Every time my little cousin comes into town I take him there for ice cream and popcorn as a special treat.

Okay, so I admit, popcorn is not that complicated therefore it shouldnt have a range beyond burnt or not. Popped has taken popcorn to a new level, specifically with their firehouse caramel. It starts like regular caramel and has just a perfect kick of heat at the finish. Great snack with beer. Price is midline but I think it is totally worth it.

Great little charming gem of a place!! The Christmas popcorn is unbelieveable - really unbelievably good!! The salted caramel was buttery and delicious as well! Cute place also has chocolates and other treats. Parking can be tricky in this area, but definitely worth a visit!

Took my daughter out for some Ice cream after walking the trails next to the Cuyahoga river and found this place. It was just a couple of blocks away so it was nice to continue our family walk. Yeah, they have all kinds of popcorn, but they also have all kinds of homemade ice cream. Deffinetly a fun day out and finding this place made it even better.

A noble hard shelled kernel, now a light, airy treat that will pay you back by resisting your weekly toothbrushing. All I hear is how GMOs are bad (Generically Modified Foods), is it worth it to mess with Mother nature?

Honestly the most friendly employees in all of Ohio! The one popcorn server is especially cute ;) The taste of the popcorn gives me a dopamine rush every-time! The only complaint I have is that the kernels keep getting stuck in my teeth but I guess that is not Poppeds fault.
