Best service department ever
I love H &J Chevrolet, and so do all the farmers in the area. they have a sale staff that is friendly and courteous, and mechanics that you know you can trust and dont have to feel like youre being sold a bill of goods every time you go in for a little work. The prices are competitive if not lower than other places around.

Horrible customer service. I had an appointment at 8am, now its almost 11am. Turns out, they didnt start working on my car until it was after 9am.The techs will try to play you as a fool and insist that theres more to their job other than preforming the simple procedures that I know take less than 90 minutes, tops! They did not give me straight answers about any questions I asked but to speak to an advisor. And I had previously spoke to an advisor who started throwing curve balls. And these were simple questions that Im sure any professional technician can answer on the spot. So thats when I went to a standard tech which was no help. Any other tech on the street would tell me straight up the problem and an accurate price quote. These dealerships are no good when you request for man to man honesty. Most of these techs cant even look you in the eyes when they give their answers. But at least they got the job done, right?Jus be aware my people, Im trying to save you time and money. Because whats worse than wasted money? Wasted time.

WORST customer service I have EVER received from a car dealership. My wife & I (combined) have purchased roughly 8 - 10 cars from dealerships over the years. Chevy & Toyota being our preference, depending on the vehicle we are in the market for. If I could give zero stars to H&J Chevrolet, I would.Older salesman in his late 50s to early 60s was extremely rude & had no motivation to be helpful. I wanted to have a spare key made, get 2 new rear tires, & have them print out the build sheet for my car.I asked about the spare key 1st. The guy had a nasty tone from the moment I walked thru the showroom doors. Spoke to me like I was a criminal. He asked for proof that I was owner of the car. I FULLY understand why they need to verify I am the owner. This kind of policy keeps ACTUAL criminals from waltzing right in and having keys copied for malicious purposes. I gave him proof that I am indeed the owner of the car. He proceeded to inform me (still with a rude tone) that the key would have to be ordered AND cut from the factory. I have a hard time believing they cannot cut the key at a certified dealership.Didnt even bring up the topic of needing tires & the build sheet because I was already offended and ready to leave.I try to keep my business local. Kerman is a lovely little town. I would much prefer my hard earned cash go into the local economy, even if certain products might be a little more expensive. H&J Chevrolet will NOT be receiving a penny from me. I would be willing to reconsider this review & give my business to H&J, but ONLY if they take heed & get a friendly/helpful staff on the lot.Note:Initially, my wife & I purchased our cars in Madera, where we were residing at the time. A 2013 Corolla for her. A 2013 Camaro for me. Rest assured, I will be returning to Madera Auto Center for the items mentioned above . We have received great service from Madera Auto Center. Im willing to drive the extra 25 miles to get that great service. Such a shame, H&J is less than 5 miles from where we currently reside.
I recommend this dealer, i took my car to 2 other dealerships in town and didnt find the problem, this guys found the problem, fix it and i had my car the next day!
