I love eating at the Thai Bistro. This restaurant is located in an old, two story frame house making it a quaint, homey place to have a delicious meal. The service is timely, courteous, and professional. The food takes some time to be prepared, but when you taste it, it is worth the wait. Dont let the lack of cars in the parking lot deter you. I hope much of their business is delivery or pick up, because the food is too good to miss. The eggs rolls are piping hot and crispy; the soup is just the right temperature and there is a good variety. The main courses are all prepared with your choice of meat. I try to eat here at least once a week.

It is good solid Thai food at reasonable prices the lunch specials where good portions I had basil fried rice with pork and tofu...

Love this place, Ive lived here 4 years and I always say, oh im gonna try them..... then I finally did and now im sad I didnt do it sooner. The family is amazing and the owners wife is the best kind of ppl!! Also they serve boba guys!!!! Love love love em!!! Sesame chicken is dope!!!

Chicken Satay and Shrimp with Egg rolls. Delicious. Would have given 5 stars but they messed up the Pineapple fried rice, it was actually Basil fried rice. It was very good but not what we ordered. They did correct the bill, but, still wasnt what we ordered.

Service is fast, you get good value for your money. It doesnt feel like a restaurant, more like you are eating in someones home, and compared to other Thai restaurants there is not as much flavor. Also sporadic hours. You do however, get friendly service and the food is fresh.

Well wow. I have eaten Thai in many small towns and this is by far the best. We tried Thai Bistro for the first time yesterday and ordered the Thai beef salad and green curry with chicken, which came with your choice of side and we got the hot and sour soup all to go. The Thai beef salad was SO tender and had an amazing flavor! Absolutely will order this every time. It doesn’t have much cabbage, but we didn’t mind as the flavor was perfect. A 5 spiciness was not hot, more mild. The green curry was also wonderful, a 4 was fairly spicy and would call it a medium on the spice level which is perfect. Not too hot and not too mild. The hot and sour soup tasted very home made which I love! Will also always order this. Can’t wait to come back to try more dishes! And convince the owner to give me a cooking lesson 😊

There are probably many reasons you would want to consider this restaurant. First, they were one of the few restaurants in Kerrville open on this snowy Thursday during a week long polar vortex event. Second, the food truly is remarkable. Third, they were the only restaurant in town who would deliver on this snowy Thursday of a polar vortex event. Then there is the ever important matter of customer service. The lady taking my order on the phone was very courteous and very thorough and likewise the gentleman making the delivery was very friendly and polite. But really, the food is amazing. Ample portions, fair price. I had the sesame chicken and there is also some hot and sour soup waiting for dinner and because of this snowy situation combined with the states third world infrastructure there too is fried rice for tomorrow.

Has to be the best place to eat in town. The atmosphere is chill and the food is great.

I liked the lady and I think I would have like the restaurant. Im thinking everything is made to order because it took me a little over 1/2hr. To get miso soup (which I didnt care for, but I think maybe miso soup isnt susposed to taste good). I definitely plan on going back!

First time ordering here and having delivery. The gentleman caller was very patient and pleasant with me as I tried to understand what kinds of food they offer. I thought I could get yakisoba or similar, and he was gracious enough to explain his culture and the type of food better. I went with a beef and rice noodle lunch that is to die for. The egg rolls were fresh and delicious and they sent the food with a Godiva chocolate! Delivery was super fast. The portions and prices are very reasonable. Will definitely order again!

This place is awesome! All food is fresh and authentic Thai! They deliver and Andrew told me you can bring your own wine or beer when you dine there. I had the Pad Thai with chicken and egg rolls and it was fabulous. The other 2 tables also LOVED their food. I think this is the best Thai in Kerrville!

Uber Eats had Thai Bistro listed, so we placed an order. The order continued to get delayed to well over an hour after the original time it was supposed to be delivered. So we called the restaurant and they explained to us that they are not supposed to be listed on Uber Eats and they never even received our order. However, they offered to take our order and deliver it themselves even though it was almost closing time. The owner of the restaurant himself delivered our order on his way home for the night. That is service that cannot be beat. On top of that the food was INCREDIBLE, so fresh and delicious. (He also plans to make sure his restaurant is removed from Uber eats so this doesn’t happen to anyone else).

Great little place - great food and service. Not much in the way of view which is why not a 5. They give you plenty of food. I had Pad Thai with shrimp and there were 10 good size shrimp. Husband had cashew chicken and couldnt finish it all.

I love this place! Crystal noodle soup is a great go to. The crispy wings are great. You cant go wrong eating here! The owner is a prince and will make anything to your tastes.

Basil shrimp was just right, flavor was good, nice amount of shrimp and vegetables. The pad Thai was sweet, so didnt care for it. Waitress was pretty forgetful with only 2 tables.

The main thing to know is the level of heat you like. 7 and 8 are quite hot. I like it like that, but its a little too hot for my son. Good food, but just watch the heat!

Ive only been here 3-4 times, but each time Ive gone, the service and food has been superb. I notice the owner comes to personally & warmly greet customers when hes there. This is such an extra touch which makes me feel truly appreciated. Most other establishments give the detached or even so far removed customer/owner contact, being none, to extremely minimal or cold (because everyones so busy), I usually take it for granted that most owners consider patrons just lowly commoners beneath them

I ~love~ this restaurant, but the heat scale is a bit inconsistent. I just ate a 10 [the hottest?], and it had very little spice. Kind of just tasted like a sprinkle of enthusiastic pepper. So, not bad, but certainly not a 10. I actually had a 4 a few months ago that was hotter than this and tasted amazing. Simply all I ask is for some consistency and for the 10 to make me cry and breathe fire. Otherwise, delicious.

Probably my favorite spot in Kerrville now. Had egg rolls and wontons as apps, which were amazing. Garlic Chicken and Pad Thai was perfect as well. This is a great hidden gem.
