Our first time going. The warm hospitality and it reminds us of our old hometown store, where my Uncle worked for years. Fresh meats and vegetables. We will be back.

Better than the store before it but still high on pricing. Of course its in a town so small that they dont have a post office. Great for convenience and better than a convenience store.

I love the employees, the customer service and the market is very good. Im about to be priced out of being able to shop there though. I try to shop local but when going miles out of our way actually saves us money I become conflicted. I understand small town retail reality but at some point I begin to wonder, if I can save money by going to the next town, I wonder how long the small town grocery will survive.

Pioneer Market is a small town grocery, but they carry everything that youd need to make a full meal.Their meat market and produce are the best Ive seen in East Texas. Specifically the rib eyes are better than any Ive eaten from high restaurants in Dallas or purchased from any meat market in my lifetime. And thats no exaggeration. Ive talked to many people who couldve easily gone to Walmart or Brookshires who will gladly drive further just to get Pioneer Markets meat.The employees are friendly and always very helpful. The store is always clean and even during the beginning of the pandemic shutdown, they did all they could to keep essentials stocked.This is a store that I gladly shop and recommend to others!

Theyve got a really great produce section. I like it a lot more than Walmart or Brookshires because the produce just seems fresher and is very reasonably priced. I swing by at least once or twice a week on my way home from work and grab a few things and you really cant beat the convenience. Theyve got pretty much all the basics and everyone who works there is friendly and cheerful. Going into this grocery store is really just a nice experience.

Very nice staff, and it is a breath of fresh air after the garbage that was in there before! Very clean, organized, and well maintained! The only thing, and only 1 negative is tje prices are a little higher than other grocery stores, but I understand. It is hard to compete with the big chain stores. Im just glad we jave something more than just descent here in Liberty City! Thanks Pioneer! Nice clean store!!!

Convenient but overly priced. Not a thorough selection at all. Did not have womens deodorant which was weird. Great market, produce and employees. Awful pricey though.
