This goes to Caleb in the maintenance shop. I had to come in for a check engine light on my tractor and needed an air filter replaced as well. Mr. Caleb in the shop was extremely helpful and courteous. Got my code cleared and found nothing wrong with the engine. Then when he went bro change my air filter and went to get a new one he saw that they didn’t have any at their shop. So he then said if I didn’t mind waiting around (because I had said I’m only 2 hours from my drop off) that he was going to go to a Petro station up the road to see if they had one for me. He was going to go out of his way, quite literally, to help me out. Unfortunately no shops nearby had one but the fact that Caleb was going to go out of his way for a customer is just so rare to find nowadays, and I’m from the southeast! This made a bad day into a great one. Someone either promote this guy or give him a raise, he will go above and beyond for you. You rock Caleb! Keep up the great work.

Had to stop cuz my truck kept overheating, the mechanic Rrett, and also SM (Gary) helped me wit the the problem as got me back on the line as quickly as possible.

Womens Bathroom filthy and i mean filthy!!!!!!!!!! Employees have bad attitudes. Have enough of my own attitude that I dont need someone whos taking care of me to have one; cuz I give it back twice as bad when youre rude and they were rude. And I had my granddaughter with and they were annoyed because I asked them to get something. She thought they were mad at her I had to explain it to her but if a three year old can pick up on it you know it was bad

Very good customer service, Truck break down due to radiator issue. They fixed the truck the by replacing the radiator and they also kept us informed about the status. We called road service around 2 PM, they started around PM 4 and finished around 8 PM. Also they were corporative with our driver who has language constraints. Cost reference - ~3K for the road service and replacement including labor, coolant replacement.

Nice place. Clean parking lot. Very quiet at night. Beautiful views all around. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stop in again.

Service department... They wouldnt work on my box truck because it was too small(regular 22.5 wheels) and they would have to order tools, and also because I have hydraulic brakes. I waited a few hours for the mechanic shift change only for them to tell me they dont want to do the work. I went to Loves down 40E and they got me fixed up. Only one guy in the office was nice and helpful, I wish I got his name.

Amazing Location! Great stop for my 10 hour break coming east from California. Was going to stop at the Loves on the border but I didnt want to fight the busy border crowds. Glad I went down the road a bit and stopped here. Lots of open parking spots on a Saturday night. Showers were clean and no wait.. Black Bear Restaurant was top notch, now one of my new favorites. All the staff I interacted with in the store were very friendly. Will definitely remember this place for the next time I come through. Maybe even go for a hike on the nearby trail if it isnt 110 degrees like today. I could see doing a full 34 hour break here no problem.

Truckers and RVers, AVOID if possible. Great place to let my dog out, but they only have half their pumps going. I read others reviews as to why, but regardless, it was a cluster! Huge cluster, that affected the exit getting out of the parking lot, and traffic on the road in both directions were also affected. I’m not talk about a little bit either. Traffic at the road was at a dead stop because of other trucks trying to get in and being back up, and trucks exiting were stuck and causing a back up. It was a huge mess.

Don’t stop here for inspection. This little dot on my windshield he said he doesn’t feel safe but this huge crack on his windshield he said is OK

If you are needing any work done, Id recommend that you go somewhere else. Endless you have plenty of time to spare. Stopped by to get an Ultimate PM at 900am local time. Then I get told that it is going to be 3 to 4 hrs maybe a little bit longer due to the fact that they only have 1 service tech and he has a road call and then another pm ahead of me. No problems Im glad they have work but, come on seriously only 1 tech to work the shift. Before everyone gets on the high horse about COVID-19, Id say its more about Travel Centers of America not valuing the worth of the employees than covid-19.

Stopped for gas at around 5 am got $27 in gas, they charged me $75. I called. It went to voice mail. So now I have to dispute the charge through my card rather than have them correct it.They did correct it after a few days, but I still stand by the bad review due to the initial overcharging me

I stopped in at the TA for fuel and lunch at the Popeyes Chicken restaurant inside. The service was great and the manager was a very friendly and helpful young lady. I recommend this place.!!!👍🏽

This place now one of the worst place no diesel wow I think this truck stop goes for close last three times I am visiting in this TA all of the lines are close if you plan Refill your tank in Ta king man so you are in problem if you don’t have leftover trust me one of the worst experience In this week three time I get this experience so I request all of the truckers avoid this gas station if you need a Fuel specially when you have limited gas in your tank try to find another option...

Great location for 10 hrs break and customer service, Tony is a nice guy, always working hard and taking care of customers and so is the girls behind the counter, especially the one with ear gauges she awesome but however they never have diesel fuel station whenever we go out there especially at evening or at night. Beside that all chillin. Fix the diesel fuel issue and will rate it 5 stars!

Do not do repairs at this TA. They told me it would be a 1 to 2 hour wait. i have been waiting 7 hours. Girl in the repair shopped called me every few hours to tell me she can only do certain repairs and canceled on others that she agreed they can do at the start. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Brought my tractor in to get a dot inspection we have to do it every 120 days because I’m with Landstar! My tractor is well-maintained and I’ve been repairing things as I go that need to be fixed. After about five minutes of looking at it the mechanic said it’s leaking excessively oil and he can’t pass it! I said yes it does leak a little oil I don’t know about being excessive!He said well I’m not gonna pass it!!! So I called Landstar they said I can’t move the truck I have to sit here in the parking lot or get it towed somewhere else because TA truck service said it is beyond the scope of repairs! So they can just tell you what needs to be fixed but now I can’t move my tractor! The mechanic said I should’ve washed my engine off first before I brought it in there the other guy at the counter said we tried to work with you the mechanic did but you didn’t wanna listen to him! I said I don’t know what he wanted me to listen to about I waited inside for the paperwork because I assumed he failed it that’s what he said to me!!!!First of all really a DOT inspection is most important for safety issues not a small oil leak!

It is a very amazing truck stop that has just about everything that you would need for communications for repairs for general maintenance great place for them the rest play games have drinks eat nice restaurant in Blackbear diner on the side of it and theres plenty of parking and good sleeping areas for them and just has an overall friendly nature and since of resect thank you guys very much for letting me charge my phone there you guys went out of your way for me and I appreciate that more than you guys know

One of the few truck stops that actually have an outgoing mailbox so us truck drivers can have a place to mail or post cards or letters back home. I truly really do appreciate you guys. Your restaurant the Black Bear Diner is off the hook I love that place and I stopped an hour early than what I was supposed to so I can stay at your truck stop. Thank you for actually having a place to let us truck drivers come in and have a sit-down meal and not going to truck

Only reason for the 2 stars was because they were polite when they said they couldnt help me. Somehow my card was diactivated so no shower credits $15 for a shower with no toilet paper. Guess spending months out on the road isnt worth helping someone out. Not even the money that bothered me. Its the lack of customer service. Even csr on phone didnt give a rats behind.

Restrooms were pretty clean, all stalls had seat covers and toilet paper. Soap dispensers were full. The breakfast food selection was not great, very little available, 3 donuts left. Fountain drink machine was fresh!!

Slim Pickens for quick food, although the Popeyes is fairly quick, but Im not a big fan of Popeyes Chicken, and the Black Bear diner is your typical black bear slow to get served diner, so if you only have a half hour break time, dont bother.

Last best stop b4 California. Need a shower, a tire or a hot meal this place has it and a BEAR charm all its on I recommend the chocolate cake. And coffee BEARALICIOUS.

Good people behind the counter good coffee and a surprisingly well stocked convenience store the coffee was out when I arrived but one of the employees came right over and got everything squared away within minutes The place is very clean and well managed

This is a nice truck stop the only reason I didnt give them a 5 star and I know its not their fault. Its too hard to get in-and-out of the driveway and due to the fact of all the traffic out on the road. The city of Kingman needs to do something.

Its a great place for anything a traveler needs but I was a little disappointed that their gas prices were higher and the restaurant was closed. I love Black bear restaurant and was anticipating sitting down to a good meal because i was very hungry. With the amount of traffic I think they should be open 24/7. They advertise breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I stopped here and actually found parking for an oversize load at 9pm. Thats the ONLY positive thing that I can say. Walked in to find out that Black Bear closes at 8pm and Popeyes closes at 9pm. Even though they still had a rack full of chicken that they are required to throw out.I guess people should just keep stopping at Loves and Pulot/FlyingJ where the fast food joints actually stay open for carry-out 24/7.TA and Petro used to be the best places to stop. I wont stop here again.

This place is amazing!!!. Awesome customer service!And they have a black bear diner that is off the chain!!! We had an awesome waitress and amazing food, desserts, all I can say is oh my!!! If in this area stop by and check them out. They have clean restrooms and clean showers to. Also plenty of parking for truckers.

Stopped here for gas and to get a bite to eat at Popeyes Chicken. I pumped my gas and went to the bathroom but when I came out, the gate was closed going to the counter at Popeyes. I glanced at my watch and realized they had just closed. Totally bummed out I looked around the TA for something to eat but couldnt find anything. So I decided to go up to the gate and called out. A young woman looked up as I pleaded to her to take just one last order for the night. She smiled and walked over to unlock the gate. Ive never eaten there before so I told her Id take whatever she recommended. When she handed me my bag she smiled and gave me a wink. When I got to my car I opened the bag to find one box bulging with chicken strips and another bursting with french fries. It was then that I realized that the young woman seriously hooked me up!

Never never come to this place for change tire. They don’t want to work, they are very lazy. For one change tire take 4 hour. Crazy.

Slow. Cold food. Sent back. Cold again. Bullhead restaurant much better! Need to get a much better kitchen staff And management! Manager said she would remove items we couldnt eat then didnt. Had to get hostess to take care of it! She is good!!

Bought all the gas I have used in my van and generator, my largest monthly expenses as a disabled homeless veteran. I have been stranded here with major mechanical issues. I did experience a situation that really ramped up my bipolar depression. I was getting fuel there about a month ago, and was discarding some trash and cut myself on some glass in the trashcan, resulting in an emergency room visit the following morning. The staff offered some first aid supplies, and asked if I wanted to go to the hospital, buy my dog was with me, and nobody to watch him. I have had no further inquiries about the accident, injury, despite reaching out to who was handling it, without response.

Shop is a joke. Made our driver wait 5 hours because they would not verify they had the filters before the truck was in the bay. We got some other service done while the truck was already ther and they put the wrong truck number, year, and company information on the receipt and refused to change it to the proper wording. Now, due to my leasing terms, I have to pay to have all of that work redone to be able to get proper paperwork. Our fleet is no longer allowed to use a TA or Petro shop after this.

Restaurant salad bar looks bad and everything is Empty or mixed and dishes are dirty. And soup bowls to and my fork was dirty.

Very unprofessional and rude staff. Their shower system was down and I was trying to take shower, one of the ladies at the desk was not coperative at all.

So far ive spent $1400 to change a a/c compressor not to mention they charged me $350 to go get part in vegas and at same time used my courier to pick up parts for another customer and charged him the same. After they were done not 2 hours later my fan clutch went out now waiting in motel for parts

Black Bear Diner was fantastic. The chopped steak and eggs breakfast for dinner was awesome. Tasted like a home cooked meal, without breaking the bank. Morgan was a good waitress.

4 cashiers behind the counter and 3 talking while one imbacil worked knowingness. Was in line 10 minutes. Never would I ever stop there again

Today Im thinking that most if not all the fuel pumps were in working order. However, the fuel pumps are old and break down often. The employees at the T/A are really second to none! Great attitude, kind, and most of all, they have the desire to serve! PS, I would give this business a 5 star rating if the fuel pumps worked like a champion! Spend the money to get them fixed. Your business will thrive!
