This girl called Amy ended up helping me out, but that was the opposite of what happened. She was very rude to me and disrespectful, I even heard her making snarky remarks about her coworkers which was extremely unprofessional in a work environment in front of customers. Amy ended up ruining my experience there and I’m extremely sadden by that experience since I love the store overall but I’m not sure if I will visit again due to the unpleasant and hostile atmosphere she created.

That always employee people that are very knowledgeable. Have a question about plumbing? No problem. A question about electrical? No problem. Need to know where to find this funny looking screw? No problem, its over on aisle 11, shelf 3, bin 5. They have an amazing stock of inventory. About anything you would need. Yes, the prices are a little more expensive than your big box store. But you cant find assistance like this at those big stores.

Although small compared to lowes and home depot. Bridges will mostly have what you need for home repairs. The help was good and friendly.

Best hardware store around. Within moments of entering the door an associate is there to help you find what you need. Once the person couldnt help me but I left the parts that I needed to hookup my refrigerator and went back an hour later and Danny had me fixed up and ready to go. I know people travel from shelby to come to kings mountain just for the service. Fantastic!

I’m in here at least once a week, the staff are always very helpful. And the prices are competitive. The quality the items sold here are significantly better than the big box store, like Lowes and Home Depot. They also sell high quality propane. They will fill your BBQ grill tanks and it’s a lot cheaper than doing a tank swap at the big box stores. Not to mention you tank will be at it’s full capacity not at 3/4 like a tank swap.

One star is way more then this place deserves. I will NEVER step foot in this place again. My husband and I were enjoying a day out and about and had never been to a great value, so we decided to check it out. When we walked in we were pretty amazed by the large selection of just about everything. We walked up and down every isle to see what they had to offer. We were approached by an employee and he asked if there was anything he could help us with. We told him no we were just looking around but thank you. A few isles later I was happy to see that I might have found a light bulb I had been looking for. We were then approached again by a different employee, asked if we needed anything and again we said no we were fine but thank you. He then stood there, he stood there and watched us. He just stayed right next to us watching us and not saying a word.I said to my husband that I was ready to leave, he said loudly is it because we are being watched like we are going to steal something? I said yes and we started to walk out. The employee that was standing there watching us then felt the need to follow us. He followed us for a few minutes and we decided to leave. I have never ever been so insulted, so attacked and so profiled. This place is just horrible along with the employees we interacted with. We will never visit this place again. We will make sure to let our friends and family know what a joke this place is.

After calling around for my washer machine part on 12/10/18 a snowy day that no one claimed to have in Shelby and Gastonia. I just so happen to try calling Bridges and spoke to Dan. I gave him the part number he put me on hold and came back to the phone and said he had it. I told him put it on the counter I would be in there in a few minutes. I got there it was waiting on me at the counter. Great service and knowledgeable staff. Installed the part and the washer machine works like new again. Thank you guys.

I challenge you to think of something they dont stock. Even Lowes and Home Depot dont have some things youll find here. Im remoldeling a 100 yr old house and here is my supply house. If anything, not real deep in lumber, but they cover the bases. A little pricey or I would give 5 stars.
