I had an issue with Rainfall irrigation, they listened to my concerns and immediately corrected the issue. Sometimes you need an issue to really know and understand a company’s commitment to customer service!!
Worked with the owner on a project for new plantings and hardscape. Very profession, extremely responsive, and good quality work. Ive taken a star off as was on the high end of pricing.
Bobs lighting job on our property is nothing short of fine artistry. It has drawn more compliments than any other feature of our home - its not even close!
Rainfall came to my house, told me how theyd fix my irrigation system then suggested some great landscape lighting ideas. Said how great they are and how they do what they say they will. I made an appointment and waited almost a month for it. At the last minute, Rainfall canceled. Told me they couldnt take time to do work for a retail customer. Had to work for the landscapers who give them more jobs. The office person was very rude as well.
UPDATE BELOW:****************************************************************************************Allison is the rudest person I have ever talked to she is defensive and avoids calls if she knows there is a problem with your system. after a system not working and having a tech come, I called her only to have her say well we cant get back until next week. she said I will have to see if the tech said the system does that. after he had already told the owner and I it could.This service company,Correct? if you sell a system after someone has asked for a specific feature then you have your bulldog Allison tell people it cant when she doesnt even know what system it is. after the previous service call she said that cant be happening. well their tech had set it as environmental which this system, I found out today, does not have the sensors. on top of that there was a broken head that had to have been that way all winter because when I dug it out it had about 20 lbs of dirt on it. obviously when they did the start up it was never checked. I am not sure if Allison is a relative of the owner but her customer service skills are non-existent. This system was put in with the landscaping company. I will be writing to the owner of it to let him know of the bad service and hopefully they find somebody else for future installs and maintenance.UPDATE. Rainfall came by earlier in the summer and replaced the controller so it would do what it was suppose to do along with watering the lawn, cool the flagstone by the pool. It is now a high tech Rachio° controller which is excellent. My boss also had them install landscape lighting. The lighting looks great and the installers were very nice and helpful.

I had a system originally installed by a landscaper that simply after 4 years of adjustments and upgrades was just not any better or getting the job done. Rainfall Irrigation came recommended by a high end nursery and a fellow friend. Steve knows his stuff and is very much into trying to make everything perfect. It may take him more time but he will find the best solution.Ive had a lot of contractors come and go since I had my home built in 2009/2010. Most either do a half decent job at best or just vanish. The lack of pride in doing an above average job or going the extra mile is lost in many things in our society today, work related or not. Steve came out and walked the property with me for nearly two hours. He listened to my long story that would bore anyone else about my frustrations and want I wanted for my property. We discussed the steps of how to do this and budget constraints.They arrived to do the work on the date/time planned and I felt safe to leave my home to work with them there. The work was very extensive, requiring a lot of trenching for new lines, moving existing sprinkler heads, replacing everything in my system inside and out. It may sound dramatic but it was very hard to tell in the majority of spaces they had even disturbed the lawn. Steve came back out after everything was done and walked me through my new controller. They even did a second adjustment on some of the sprinkler heads to address any concerns I had just to be perfect.Im a very detailed person myself who easily over analyzes everything I purchase or do in my life. Steve is very similar and while this may take a tad more time then a normal contractor who just wants to give you a quote and leave in 5 minutes, this will pay off for you long term knowing it was done right. Ive heard others say it is tough to reach the office or Steve time to time. It was never 100% for me either but it wasnt horrible. I would have to say its easy to understand why his business is so busy with their attention to detail and knowledge. Im very happy they were recommended to me to FINALLY solve my irrigation disaster!!
