Maines went out of business. And is now called Schiiffs. This a bulk item warehouse store. Good for large parties, large families and events. Decent prices. A little pricey, but not by much.

**This is now a Schiffs Marketplace**Try their smoked kielbasa. And, to that point, all their meats look pretty impressive .Picked up some boneless rib eye steaks for Independence day grilling.They were perfectly marbled and came out tender, flavorful and succulent .

Good price, huge cabbage heads $0.49 a pound great for pigs in a blanket!

This place is awesome from either a personal or commercial standpoint...been here a few times and will be back again next time i need to stock up

I love this store! I only needed 2 nice steaks and they only had huge family packs. The guy took a pack of steaks... He had me pick the ones i wanted... And wrapped the 2 for me.. He also gave me a sale price on them. It was just such a nice thing to do. The workers there do go above and beyond for you and they always smile doing it! The produce is ALSO so AWESOME! I love this place!❤❤

Great selection of products and foods. Meat department has great quality meats. If I cant find something in any other store, it is most likely here. My only wish is that the butchers were there later in the day because I cant usually get to the store when they are there because of my (average) work schedule.

The new Schiffs market has the same great selections I looked for when it was Maines. Lots of fresh produce and a new walk in Bulk meats cooler.

It has now changed to Schiffs food service and has become pricey. I can shop elsewhere for less.

They do have a lot of relatively generic but varied party supplies on hand, as well as a nice section of kitchen gadgets and many things you need for a commercial kitchen or a banquet. There are a few good deals, but overall, prices are a little higher than elsewhere for items that are available in other local stores. At the same time, they have quite a bit that isnt available at all locally, and the only competition for those is online. I go there once in a blue moon, and theyre great for what they are, but I would never choose them as my regular grocery store. Even if I had a real commercial kitchen, Im sure I would order from established vendors that would undercut these prices. But when I put on a giant birthday party with a couple hundred guests, it was really good to be able to get some of the things I needed here, for example.

Prices were little higher. Better for small mom n pop restaurants or large families.

I really appreciate this store. You can shop here for bulk items of grocery products without doing a membership like those OTHER stores. Everything is fresh and the prices cant be beat, especially when they have meat sales. Check the paper weekly for sales flier.

The produce is and looks fabulous. This place has everything you need for your every day cooking or that special party or occasion! The employees are always very polite and helpful!

They have a Veterans discount which is clearly displayed and says show ID and receive 5% off. I showed my ID to the cashier and her response was is this business or personal. I said business and she said nope. I asked why and she said only for personal items. I did ask where it says that andashe said in the flyer which I dont get. Might be nice to post a memo since all the post they have up say thanks and veterans save but there is a clause to it. I defended my country and served and now they take away what was a good gesture to say thanks. You can keep what would have been a $9.00 savings and I will continue to support places that support veterans.Well after todays visit I will no longer visit and will make sure to let all my friends and family know why.

If youre buying food in bulk its a great place. Fresh fruit and veggies. Good prices. Alot of restaurant equipment too or party things like plates, napkins,etc.

Always have what Im looking for. Plus I take advantage of what is on sale. Pi led up meat, vegetables and some to go withs.

If youre a business or volume purchaser then youll be very happy which is why Im giving it a high rating. Lots of specialized equipment in stock. Regular consumers can benefit here from the fresh produce.

New owners seems about the same but like the precut deli and meats

Great for food service items and not commonly found in regular consumer grocery stores. However some smaller items and produce can be more expensive than standard grocery stores. The facility looks a little worn and could use updating.

A lot of good prices... a good toss-up between brand name and generic extremely friendly cashiers and workers... I will shop there again

I have a large family. We buy meat in bulk and repackaged it when we get home. It saves us a ton of money.

Not everything is cheaper there, but you can definitely find some good buys. No need for a sams club membership with places like this.
