I made an appointment to have my power windows repaired. When I went to the appointment, which I made about a week and a half prior, they told me the appointment wasnt scheduled because they didnt have the parts. However, I had the confirmation email. It would have been nice if I was informed the parts werent available and had to be ordered prior to my confirmed appointment. I was told the parts were going to be ordered and I would be notified to reschedule. I have yet to receive any notifications. Its been over a week.

Be warned. Insurance company approved manufacture windshield replacement, which was needed to recalibrate safety features on vehicle. After a 3+ hour wait, Safelite installed an after market windshield that could not recalibrate. None of the safety features are working on the vehicle and now making several calls to get the proper windshield. If my insurance company paid for a manufactured windshield and Safelite is installing after market windshields, is this insurance fraud?

Damaged my hood and tried to tell me the hood was damaged before I brought it in but the hood is brand new and hasnt even been painted. They dont take responsibility for their mistakes. The manager said that their timestamped pictures were proof that my hood was damaged beforehand but what nonsense is that especially when my car was brought to the back at 1010am and their pictures were took at 1122am. The employees obviously know the loop holes with the timestamp pictures. I sat in the lobby and waited for my car and when it was finished, they flat out lied about the damage...preexisting?..absolutely not! People make mistakes so all they had to do was correct their mistake and I would have still left a happy customer.

I hope I have the right location for this review.Last week, I discovered a crack under my windshield wiper that spidered across my windshield on the passenger side. I went online to schedule an appointment. The shop in Melbourne couldnt get me an appointment until the following week but Kissimmee could get me in Friday. I made the appointment, put in all the information, and told them to bill my insurance. Everything ran through smoothly to schedule the appointment for Friday in the 12-5 slot where they would come to me. I got a call Friday morning from my tech person, Abimael.Let me say. This guy is amazing! He called me early to let me know the new windshield they ordered had a scruffy mark on it. They wouldnt install if it was less than 100%. I told him that was fine. They made some calls, got a new replacement in, and I got a call about 11:00 that they could install but would be there about 3 or 3:30. I told him that was perfectly fine.Abimael was such a sweetheart! He arrived around the arrival time, went over the process with me, and looked inside and outside the car prior to the install. We went over the stains and nicks I already had so I could see what all was there prior to install. He quoted me 1.5-2 hours and he finished right before the 1.5 hour marker. The windshield looked great and he was just such a pleasant person to be around. He goes beyond what the job requires and made me feel like I was more than just a customer.Thanks, Abimael!

I brought my car here too have The windshield replaced. The receptionist very friendly, however she didnt look up my appointment and confused it with somebody elses appointment. She didnt know if the glass for my car was in the shop. She told me she was gonna ask the technician to verify but never got back to me to let me know either way.My appointment was at 1030 in the morning. They didnt come out to get my car until 1145.The technician was super friendly and professional and explained the process to me before taking my car in.I was told it was going to take two and half hours to three hours to get the job done. They got it done in about an hour and forty five minutes.I find their work to be of very good quality, but because they made me wait for one hour and fifteen minutes before bringing my car in and my time is very valuable to me, I am only giving them three stars.

My windshield sensor cover was broken during installation. I noticed a slight rattling noise a few days after the installation, and realized the noise was coming from the sensor cover. I then went to secure it, and discovered the cover had a broken clip, and a fastening bracket was missing from the windshield. I called multiple time to setup warranty service but, was unable to get someone on the phone. So, I entered my details online while setting up my appointment. Of course, they didnt have the replacement part ready although the appointment was made a month in advance. They apologized, and said they would come to me. They eventually came to install the part however, the technician said I needed a new windshield as it is the only way to get the required bracket. They setup an appointment at a different Safelite location...When I arrived I was informed that my part (not new windshield) was at the other location, and that I should go there for service. I refused, and demanded they come to me due to a lack of trust. So, I made an appointment for remote installation. During this visit, a second technician informed me that I need a new replacement windshield. Im now trying to call to setup my appointment, and you guessed it, I cant get anyone on the phone, I had USAA call, and they are having the same issue!!!! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Very clean. They were extremely honest and explained every bit of the replacement process and how they would work with insurance if needed. We’ve never worked with Safelite, but we will definitely consider them before others if needed for hopefully not another time.

Good job overall. Slight imperfection on trim (one of the double creases was indented) but tech said the super glue would not unglue. Not a problem as long as not leaks occur. Esthetically..barely visible. Edgar should be commended for a job well done. Thanks

Don’t waste your time using this location. I made an appointment and waited over 1 hour from appointment time. I ended up leaving without getting work done because they still could not tell me when a tech will be available to get windshield fixed. They are unorganized and make you wait and waste your time.

After showing up on time for the online scheduled appointment, my husband was informed they didn’t have the glass and that he will be called to reschedule once they get it. They never called, left the order open with the insurance company and there is absolutely not way to communicate with them. At least the one in Kissimmee should close to prevent the other ones from getting a bad reputation.

We had an appointment for a cracked window. I was told it would take 30-45 minutes since the piece of window was still intact it wouldnt take as long. I had checked in to see what the deal was and people were friendly. Almost an hour and a half later we get the car back and the tech actually admitted that he had been jumping around working on several cars at once. When I bring my car in with an appointment, and an expectation of time has been I expect quality and focus on just my vehicle from start to finish, even if it goes over the promised time. As it turns out something was not done correctly causing the motor to strain when lifting the window and needs to be fixed. I am not surprised mistakes were made when shifting your focus over several cars at once. Not ok. Will not be back. Also, dont allow employees to smoke in the parking spaces in front of the doors. Not cool.

Was quoted $419 for a windshield replacement. When the final bill arrived it was over $1000. I unwillingly paid the bill on a company card because I did not want to hold up my driver and the technician. BIG MISTAKE! According to the people I talked to at Safelite, I was suppose to have held up the two folks that were at the job site and complained about the price and refused to pay it. There are plenty of windshield replacement folks in the area and will not be returning to Safelite.

I will inform GEICO about their louzy workethics. This company harrasses you whole week with text messages and very early morning phonecalls, waking you up, that they will come to replace your windshield. Then when the time and date of the actual appointment has arrived, nobody shows up. Their telephones are being answered by automated systems, very hard to get a REAL HUMAN on the phone. On their website they willl send you messages but ZERO options to message back. They have a live chat which they will have you as number 29 or 56 waiting in line. Theres no way you can reach them but they sure know how to reach you with emails (no-reply-emails) text messages, and phonecalls a whole week before the set appointment but on the actual appointment day and time they dont show up and once again there is no way to reach them, They HIDE BEHIND ANSWERING MACHINES AND AUTOMATED SYSTEMS !!!

We prepaid and scheduled and appointment to have our window repaired. They called us day of and said they cant come because the part has not arrived. I called a few days later to get a status and NO WAY TO SPEAK TO ANYONE! The calls kept circling to the main menu. On line they said they issued a refund which was a lie! No one returns calls or even answers the phone. I will NEVER DEAL with them again! I will report this to the BBB. I have never had to deal with this unprofessionalism !

Had an appointment, mind you I have a broken back window on my truck, so its open to the elements and also a issue for possible theft. For a week, I kept getting emails and texts, reminding me of my appointment. Well, I drive to appointment and get a call 5 minutes before my appointment letting me know that my back window did not show up? Who does this? You dont call someone when they are on the way, to cancel.... What the point of all the emails and texts, You cant call someone well before their appointment to save them the time and gas money driving there??? I will go somewhere else, just to make sure I do not support companies with these business practices.

I made an appointment at 10:00, (they do not do appointments over the phone and rarely even answer the phone, I called three times during business hours and only got the desk once) arrived at 9:30 and was told they only had one car in front of mine and should be able to take care mine back early. They did not take my car back until 10:15, and then took an additional 30minutes to finish the job.I’ve gotten rock chips repaired before and it took five minutes. This was absolutely ridiculous how long it took to repair a chip that was a surface chip and was borderline whether or not it should even be repaired. I was charged over $100 when I have paid $20-40 for a chip this size in the past.The technician was very kind, so they was one good thing I experienced.

The 3 star rating is solely based on my interaction with the guys at the front desk (the windshield hasnt been installed as of this moment)..they were very helpful and courteous and professional..I went get a windshield repair for a Land Rover and after some discussion with the rep..we decided that it would be better to replace than repair..which is scheduled for next week..my hope is to get an OEM replacement windshield with the Land Rover emblem on it..just like the original..after the new windshield is on I will decide then on whether its 3 stars or 5 stars.

Honestly, if I could I would give 0 stars... I have a 2020 Miata Grand Tour. I’ve made 3 appointments with these guys and most likely have to do 4th now. First try they didn’t get the extra part the Miata needs in time. 2nd try they delivered the parts to the wrong location. 3rd try now they said the windshield is the wrong one... this isn’t the first time they have scheduled me over and over again. It is such a waste of time. I even called 30minutes prior to make sure I’m not wasting gas and time taking the car again if they don’t have the parts. He told me “yes everything is here.” Honestly it is not difficult to make sure everything is correct. It’s 2021 and it seems like they are operating in 2005. Terrible service.

Great customer service. The waiting area always clean with refrigerated water along with hot tea and freshly made coffee. Service is great with dissent waiting time or you can drop off your vehicle and they will call you when ready. They will also come to your house to fix your glass or wherever you them to if the damage doesnt require to be fixed at their location. Overall, very satisfied with their services. They also provide lifetime coverage for your windshield service.

We literally got a chip in our front windshield on the way home today, we looked them up online, saw they had an appointment 40 mins from then, booked appointment, paid for services online, brought car in and had excellent service. They explained everything thorough and we have a lifetime warranty if anything goes wrong. I highly recommend them!

It took two appointments to replace my windshield on my vehicle due to insurance giving them wrong year for vehicle. Then I decided to reschedule for them to come back out to my house after they replaced my windshield with dash cam on my 2015 Buick Enclave because it I started hearing a loud noise coming from the windshield or either the box that is connected to the sensors and dash camera. The tech they sent out to my home was a guy named Shawn from Kissimmee location. Before he even drove the car, when I told him Im hearing loud noises and that you have to drive car for a while. I told him, most time its when Im on expressway. He automatically down played that something was wrong and stated he is sure the tech did a great job on fixing the car and there is nothing wrong. I told him there is a loud noise that I hear off and on from windshield. He went and drove car and came back in 5 minutes.**I thinking to myself, you figured out issue in 5 minutes. I said did you hear noise, He said no nothing wrong with vehicle. I told him yes it is and did you even go on expressway, he tells me no I drove down street at 80 miles and heard nothing. I told him the pressure from wind is not the same as on expressway and something is wrong with either calibration or windshield. He then tried belittling me by stating is this your first time having your windshield done. I said yes and he said you probably wanting to make sure they did good job and just thought you heard noise. I was like is this guy for real. I told him yeah you right being sarcastic that I just love to call Safelite and waste your and my time because Im making assumptions or just hearing things that not there. Then I told him there is a noise, Im not the only one who heard it and I will just call someone else out who can help me. He said go a head but they are going to tell you the same thing I told you. I told him really, you dont know that.**Then when I rescheduled for 1/05/2020 at 8:00 am, do you know if I did not call at almost 10:00am, I would have not known that no one was coming out today. The lady said it was not assigned to no one and it was given to Robert but he did not take it. I was like wow, why. She said the tech Shawn claimed he went on test drive with me in vehicle which was a lie. He went by himself for 5 minutes and claimed to not hear anything. Then told me I was just looking for something wrong and that is why I thought I had noises but its just the wind. I looking at him thinking do I really look stupid to you. Who tells a customer that. I told him really I know how wind sounds. Then say there is nothing wrong with vehicle in his notes and no further service needed, so no other tech would take job. I told the lady this is really upsetting and now it makes sense why the tech cancelled appointment, even though he came out to my home. I sent email stating it was cancelled and never got to rate his service. So Im rescheduled again for this Friday at different location and hopefully the issue gets resolved. I never had any noises or problems before they did work on my car. I also have 3 recordings with the loud noise so if I get a unprofessional guy like Shawn who wants to play on my intelligence because Im a woman, I have proof and be ready for them. I just want issue fixed, whether you have to redo recalibration, the sensors or redo the windshield, fix the issue Safelite. I used them in past with another vehicle and the service was great, this time I looking at them a whole different way, very disappointed. I will update later about whether my issue gets resolved.My issue was resolved at Lakeland they deserve the praise so I will post about service their.

Can I give them a zero?! Disaster. The shop Cancelled my first appointment. I had to wait a month for another. Technician took my car for a joy ride to “calibrate” it and got a flat. He also damaged my dashboard cover . At first the manager said they would fix it. After they were told by the Dealer it could not be fixed they did not want to pay to replace it. They wasted 3 hours of my husband’s time waiting at their shop just For them to admit they could not fix it. After months of giving me the runaround And my car looking awful, Safelite says they can’t fix it And won’t pay to fix it. I have to claim it on my insurance now. Don’t use this location.

The technician in charge to replace the windshield of my car was EDGARD, he is excellent, super professional, and do great job. I was worry in the beginning because its a 2018 Tucson Sport,but after his job, Im so happy, relax and I can believe that he replaced the windshield so quick and my car looks like new! Actual install was great, Wesly was really personable and efficient, he gets 5 stars. They came to my work so it was convenient for me. The office and scheduler however was very difficult to work with, they cancelled on me initially when they didnt have my windshield, again when they couldnt get to me, again when they werent in my area. They need some cleaning up in communication between the office and the field.

I am not happy with my glass replacement. The seal rubber portion was not installed properly and just noticed it. Have to spend over 800$ at the dealer to fix it and nobody is answering the phone to help.

Great tech...poor upfront customer service. Drove up to the Kissimmee location. While waiting at the front door since 7:55, now 8am, still locked and lights out. Finally heard the lock click shortly after 8am. I open the door myself, no greeting, and front desk lady walks right out the lobby door. No hello, no eye contact, so I stand at the window for a few more minutes as she sauntered around the shop and into the front office. First words are only to ask if I have an appointment. Not sure if she was having a bad morning but she greeted the next three guests with the same smug interactions. Two more employees made their way through the lobby, one making coffee, no greetings from either. The only courteous person was my assigned technician. Work was good and done on time. Unlike the appointment reminders...Don’t expect a warm greeting.

Mikel was great. He called me to tell me that he was 10 minutes away from my house. I wasnt home yet so he told me hed come back. It took him about 30 minutes to replace my windshield with a new one. He was friendly and prompt. I recommend them to anyone who needs windshield repair or replacement.

Im disappointed today, because instead of repair of few mm crack i end up with a big crack that cant be fixed. I told guy i dont want to go for wi dshield replacement, it was just a lil tiny crack that need to be filled but after he started he turned lil one into big crack and asked me to go for windshield replacement. Big time disappointment and wont recommend anybody... here is picture of windshield i ended up with... i searched online and there are plenty of videos for fixing small crack like my car had. But i have no idea why they decided to make it bigger and ended up saying sorry its not fixable now and need to be replaced... huh....

Horrible does not even begin to describe this business! I have been getting bounced around and completely ignored for over 3 weeks now after they damaged my brand new 2019 truck during a windshield replacement. They never answer their phone. The corporate customer service people cannot even get them to answer the phone. I have spent over 4.5 hours on the phone with customer care while they try and contact the Manager of this facility with no luck whatsoever. My calls directly to this shop also go unanswered.If youre lucky enough that your windshield replacement goes smoothly consider yourself blessed because they have absolutely no customer service whatsoever and do not care about the damage their technicians do to brand new vehicles. If anything goes wrong whatsoever you will be expected to call and call and call and beg just to get someone to do anything. They will take no responsibility and no ownership and will just make never ending excuses.I chose Safelite because of their large brand name and backing and have found them to just be a conglomeration of franchises that the corporate team has no control over and has no ability to hold them accountable. Its the customers who are expected to do all of the work to get a resolution.

Grayson is the man!! He replaced my front windsheild and was able to save my sunpass and parking permit, which saved me a lot of hassle! He was super friendly and completed the job way faster then I anticipated. They were even able to get me in a little early. For starters, It took four days to find an opening for mobile service. Set up a mobile appointment between 8am - 12 pm (a four hour window). After waiting until 11am on day of service, a text was received that they’d be there between 12 and 1:15pm. So we had to cancel as taking up a six hour window for a rock chip is not what is marketed and promised. I’ll then called Safelite customer service to let them know their poor technician was clearly over booked that caused this situation. The outcome? I was told to reschedule. I was offered nothing more than another mobile four hour window on a different day another three days out, even after Safelite Completely missed todays Four hour window. When I asked to speak to a manager, the phone agent said that me doing so would do no good as the manager would only do the same thing. Let that sink in: I was never transferred to a manager after asking for it. Terrible customer service experience today with this company. And on top of it, you pay extra for this mobile service.Take your business elsewhere.*Update* - I took my business to Orange Blossom Auto Glass. They fit me in next business day (today) for mobile service. Great service. So much better.

The staff and the technician who worked on my van windshield provided excellent service and were very nice and hospitable while I waited. I was on vacation there and instead of what Ive experienced out of town with car service and prices being sky high, they actually provided service and cut some of their labor cost due to knowing my family and I were in a tough place at the end of our trip, ready to drive home but our windshield was cracked from side to side and the money for the way back (for gas, food and tolls) had to be used for an extra stay at an expensive hotel to get fixed. Their help provided the gas for my family and I to get back home! Thank you all and God bless!

Everything was great, fast and well done. Just one thing to mention they didnt clean my dash well, I almost cut my finger on the remains of the broken windshield.

I need a glass replacement done so when I contact Safelite Autoglass to get information on how was this going to happen and for my surprise it was done so quick and easy, Noel was the guy that came over to my house to replace the windshield he did an awesome job and he was so polite. I will definitely do business with them again. I highly recommend this place.

Safelites technician told me that he could not replace my windshield due to rust, that I would have to take my car to a body shop to get the rust taken care of. I used Orange Blossom Auto Glass, instead. Wyatt took care of the rust as part of the replacement. I recommend you call them instead. Speedy service at your location.

Mike was the Safelite technician who installed my new windshield. He was very courteous, arrived earlier than expected (a good thing for me) after calling to see if his early arrival was OK with me. After introducing himself and inspecting my windshield, he told me how long the job might take. The estimate was right on the button. While he was working, I was curious and asked some questions about windshield damage and Mike provided me with answers to all my questions. The whole experience was good and I would recommend Safelite highly to anyone considering them.

Theyre scheduling process is terrible and the schedulers who give you time estimates are WAY off. When I picked up my vehicle they explained where the issue came in on the scheduling. The service at the location was excellent. My advise is after you talk to the 800 # people. Hang up and call the local shop and confirm everything before you actually take the vehicle to them.

The service was fast and profesional. The tech explain after installation all the not to do things and etc. The front guy can be a little more customer service oriented but all experience he dont affected. Also techs have to pay more attentions to details cause I found one plastic clip missing and the hose for the windshield water out I have to reconnected. But overall excellent service.

They moved my appointment a day later because a “technician” called in sick. Next day they come with the wrong windshield and tell me it’s my fault. And then they cancel my appointment. Trash place, don’t go here.

My windshield was fixed in my parking at my residence not at the shop. The gentleman who fixed it explained everything in a timely manner and answered all my questions with respect. The result was great! The weather was extremely cold however he still did his job without complaining.

Great experience, very polite staff. Great service techs. Very clean lobby and restroom. Overall great experience even though I had to wait a couple hours for my windshield repair. Ill never mind going into the service location to use service instead of mobile on location service.

Had a great experience at this location yesterday. I brought my car in for a windshield repair. My vehicle was picked up to be serviced very quickly. Mr. D. Arocho is very knowledgeable, and explained to me in very detail the overall process. The service was performed quicker than expected. I would definitely recommend this location.Thank you again D!
