Celeste in the Camping Department is phenomenal! I needed an extension for the waist belt of my backpack (when layered for winter). She quickly found the right sized buckles, but no same-size nylon webbing was available. She trimmed the length I needed from a wider piece ... no easy task with a hot knife ... and I had what I needed!. Thanks Celeste!

This store is a destination all on its own! And its huge! They have everything for the outdoorsman. With tons of gear in every category, fishing hunting bow gun pistol ammo boating you name it theyve got it. They have gear, they have outdoor wear, footwear you name it theyve got it. We were there on a rainy summer day and the parking lot was packed the store was swarming with happy campers. If you ever make it to this area make it a point to stop by the kittery trading Post youll be glad you did.

Its a little touristy, but it is still a fantastic stop that has nearly everything you could need/want. They also have a fantastic stock of used guns. (unsure of covid inventory though)

Would have been nice to find someone who could answer a scope question. All the staff was either busy or playing the If I dont look at you, youre not there game, definitely not exclusive to KTP, but still annoying... otherwise its a great place to go.

I love going here often. I always have a really good experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful everytime I go. I love their selections of guns and they usually have what I am looking for. A good selection of knifes and other gear you can find here. They have clothing in the lower section of the store. Not usually a high wait time for getting background checks on guns. I would suggest this place. They have a good selection of new and used firearms. Recently purchased an MP 9 Shield, a very decent price and it is in great condition for being a used firearm.

Fantastic outdoor experience. Went in for Tevas and left with tons of outdoor gear. This is a family run store with high quality gear for fishing, hunting, camping and anything else outdoors.The shoe and sock section alone is larger than some entire outdoor stores and the variety is better than Cabelas or Bass Pro.Service was super knowledgeable and available which rarely happens in stores of this size. Checkout was friendly and thurough.Our family will definatly be back.

Excellent customer service at Kittery Trading Post! My spouse recently purchased her first firearm at this location. The customer service associate was very informative, and very knowledgeable. He worked with us to ensure my spouse felt comfortable and was making the right choice in regard to the particular firearm. Kittery Trading Post has an immense selection for firearms, ammunition, hunting accessories, etc. Great fun store!

Easily the best shoe store Ive ever been in. Real quality brand name shoes and tons of items on display.

This is the place to people watch. From yuppies buying ten thousand dollars of ski gear to rich college students buying Canadian goose jackets with dads credit card to French Canadian grandmas buying elastic waistband pants and tacky flower print tops and frumpy middle aged women that think ugg boots are the same quality as Louboutin‘s, also the hunters that come to buy hunting supplies in their big fancy trucks. This place is the gift that keeps on giving. Some of the items are more overpriced than other places but it’s worth the trip. Just go.

KTP is a wonderful store for anyone outdoor minded. Quality clothing, sports gear, and shooters supplies. Ive done business with them since the 1970s, and their staff has remained amazingly friendly and helpful.Support this local icon that survives in the face of chains of Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops everywhere.

Great store and always on my must visit when I am in Kittery. They have a huge selection of clothes, gear, and other interesting things to look at. Its usually pretty busy but dont worry theres plenty of parking.

I bought a bow from the archery department two years ago, which broke this past season due to my own negligence. Tom from the archery department fixed my bow quickly and provided excellent customer service as usual. Always impressed with the service provided, especially in the archery department.

This place has it all! Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, lots of hand sanitizer stations, and even a small take-out restaurant for lunch. (Menu for the restaurant is on their website).Be sure to go when you have plenty of time to look around, because theres a lot to see. They have a large selection of shoes, including running shoes like Brooks & Hoka1. Also a great selection of Birkenstocks. Lots of name brand clothes, like North Face, Columbia & Patagonia. They also have everything you can think of related to outdoor activities. Tents, kayaks, fishing stuff, hunting stuff etc.I went in looking specially for a hydration vest to be worn for running. They have a big selection of Camelbaks, but also over with the water bottles and such, on the back wall, they have a selection of lighter weight hydration vests, better suited for running. I found a vest made by Nathan that checked all the boxes for me, but they also had some nice vests made by Osprey and Camelbak as well, and a few hydration belts in the fanny pack style that hold water bottles. In that same area they had some handheld water bottles with the strap that goes around your hand, and reflectors to be worn when running at night. Overall a great selecting considering this isnt a running store.Cant wait to visit again when I have more time to shop!

Selection is abundant, and prices are reasonable! There are friendly, dedicated staff members for each department who are ready and willing to help with any questions you may have. This store is awesome! The selection is great and the prices are outstanding. Most times I order online and I just pick up on site. Sometimes I order online and I get delivery extremely quickly, often within 2 days. You can find a great selection of tents, outdoor gear, camping and fishing gear, qualify clothing, ice fishing stuff, hiking equipment, canoes and water sport gear, and pretty much everything else in between. Most definitely worth a stop if youre driving up to Maine! This store is absolutely awesome!

The Kittery Trading Post is an amazing store!! If it exists for outdoor life, its at this store. They have have clothes of all kinds: mens, womens, kids, in all sizes. All types of hunting and fishing equipment, much of which I never even knew existed! They even have food items too.Just a never ending assortment of everything you need, and even things you didnt even know you needed!! When I am back up this way again, I will surely be making a stop back at The Kittery Trading Post!! 👍🙂

Huge selection of a large quantity of categories of items. Definitely a touristy atmosphere but was able to find the items I needed.

We love Lottery Trading Post. It has everything one would need, clothes, shoes, boots, gifts, camping and sportsman equipment. You can spend hours roaming around the store. Prices were good on the items I looked at and purchased.

We love to stop and look around whenever we are in the area. Always a great experience and adventure. I seldom leave without a new pair of socks. 🧦

I’m torn as they have great selection, but twice in their gun department I have felt accosted by an assistant manager, and a sales rep. Questioning me on my purchase reasons etc. maybe my beard, darker skin and curly hair scares them, only thing wife and I can think of. Btw I am a homeowner with a family and a professional job, not some schlep very strange experiences.

Great store with amazing amount of outdoors type of shopping. Plenty to see and lots of areas to wonder. We bought all kinds of things from jackets, shoes, camping supplies to dog toys. Service advisors are all over and never to far away. Price is nothing out of line with other stores of its type. Lots of things for kids to look at as well.

This was one of my favorite places to shop for any outdoor goods. Not anymore. They sold out and added far to much to their promo code exclusion list. I live over 3 hours from KTP and now it’s not even worth shopping here anymore.

Drove 4 hours to be followed around in the store by a rude clerk who stopped bothering us the moment we dropped $250 on a coat and hat. He never asked to help or anything he just kept walking right up to me and the Ms. and stared with a mean look directly at us. I then went to then gun counter ready to spend $3000 - $7000 on firearms and accessories for my wife and I asked if there were any limits on firearms or ammo and got the response how much money do you have I thought that was a fun way of saying get whatever you please and proceeded to do so. I was letting the Ms. pick a few herself and was grabbing her a 10/22 for plinking together when the same clerk proceeds to inform us that the background check is going to take 20 mins and they will be closing soon so we cant buy any guns today unless we reserve them. I can only assume we did something wrong since literally MINUTES ago we were told to buy whatever we want and now its the complete opposite... So now I have an overpriced winter outfit I got my wife and NO guns the whole reason I drove 4 hours there and BACK! I will NEVER recommend this place or return there again! 8 hours wasted! Whole day gone!

Fun place to visit with lots to see and buy. More than just outdoor/sporting goods - the Kittery Trading Post has clothing, footwear, gifts, pet items, etc. Outdoor, camping, hiking, sporting goods, etc too. Huge store so plan to spend some time here. They have elevators and ramps for accessibility which is nice as well.

This has got to be one of my favorite stores on the face of the planet. I went in to buy my first hunting bow. The wait to get helped was worth it. The department manager ending up helping me. She spent quite a bit of time making sure everything was right and I knew what I was doing. She was extremely patient. Every department you go into, there is always someone asking if you need help with anything. The check out experience is also fast. The prices may not be Amazon or Walmart, but the service and experience is worth it. You get what you pay for.

The legendary KTP. Been going here for 30 years. They have something for everyone, and everything in between. Don’t miss Septemberfest. We went today and got free bbq pork and pony rides.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, especially in firearms and outdoor equipment. They usually have glare at sales, and even their regular prices tend to be we below MSRP. Just awesome. Kids love looking at all the stuffed Animals.

I cant remember his name, I think it was Tom, was fantastic and incredibly helpful. I went in to buy arrows for a bow Ive received as a gift. Though Ive done archery previously, Ive never bought my own arrows so I didnt really know what to look for and felt a bit out of my depth. He helped me find the right arrows, points, and target and was super friendly and informative.

The greatest outdoors shop Ive ever been in! And that includes BassPro, Cabelas, and many more.Kitty Trading Post has three levels: ground floor is predominantly clothing, the lower level is entirely fishing, and the upper level is everything else. Anything youre looking for, they probably have 10 variants.Budget extra time if youre coming for a visit, because its going to take longer than you think to get the whole family out of here!

I never write reviews, and take them with a grain of salt. But I did make a purchase of boots here, and I never had a pair of boots come apart quicker. They were pretty pricey boots, made in Italy. I had never spent more money on a pair of boots.Clerk talked up these boots, how great they were. I do tree work for a living, and not even using them every day, they began to come apart within six weeks. I was told at purchase, the boots were guaranteed, and if they needed repair or resole, it would be covered.I had to ship the boots out to the Northwest for repair. The shop called me and said there was nothing they could do with the boots. They were glued and returned, but quickly came apart.I called the Post, assuming I would get SOME sort of refund or store credit. But I was blown off and received nothing, and did not receive calls back from my messages left.I have never returned, nor will I ever in the future. Ive been in business for 40 years, this is not how you treat potential repeat customers.

This was my first time here 😁! Got the hiking shoes I wanted, in a cool color, a water bottle with a built in bowl for my dog, a unicorn kitty toy for my boyfriends cat, blueberry cheesecake fudge for my parents & a few other things... this place is huge! Definitely need to go back!!

Completed some research in February on snowshoes and narrowed down what I wanted. They were sold out everywhere or hundreds of dollars more on eBay for the same make, style and size. I found them at Kittery Trading; reviews were great so I decided to take a chance and order. Ordering was easy, and the snowshoes arrived three days later in NY. I am beyond pleased. Will definitely be a return customer.

Loyal nearby customer last 15 years. KTP sure has changed. Im guessing the ammo and gun shortage has some employees with an attitude. Not all some will go out of their way for you. Its getting the right salesperson. Policies have changed, at one time not so long ago they would hold a gun for you for 10 days. Ammo? good luck. You have to get there before 9AM wait in line till doors open and hope the ammo you want is there. 2 Box limit period. If you have a small local shop nearby I recommend you check them out first.

Friendly staff with high degree of Covid awareness and protocols in place. High quality merchandise with reasonable prices. Plenty of parking. Try to go during off peak hours as it can get crowded.

I love KTP. Its been a staple around here forever. Always got all my boy scout gear and cast iron here. Firearm transfers and sales are quick and easy, and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have never had a bad experience here.

Terrible experience waited 3 hours in fire arm section never got my number called people that work their standing around everywhere no one would help me.when I got their they wher at #56 I was #58 in three hours I never got called so unbelievably rediculouse Ill never go back

I have been looking for a pair of white Xtratuf Wheelhouse boots. They have been sold out around the country for over 2 months. I randomly called them and not only did they have them but the young lady in the shoe department was very nice, knowledgeable, and fast to tell me they had them and would ship them at no cost. I even found a discount code online and got them way cheaper than I ever expected. Great job guys

I love this place. It is my go to place for clothes and shoes. I am a regular and loyal customer. However, I am very unhappy with this place today. I was followed around the store today, by an older man who worked there. Every time I turned around he was standing near me. I went upstairs, he was right near me. Tried to go downstairs, he was on the steps waiting. I am so upset. I don’t see how this is even legal.

I have always enjoyed kittery trading post, put today we went up stairs in the gun section we picked a number, to wait for our turn and the number stayed at 80 and never changed for our turn, and we tried looking for help and could not find anyone put the people on register, so we walked out and going to shop on line somewhere else

Great place but very low on reloading supplies.

Many variety of outdoor stuf, work stuf or just leasure clothing and shoes, many brands and you will pay for it. Wait for sales 50 or more % - ends of season etc. Be aware you can easily spend half a day here without noticing, time flies fast and deals are tempting.

It is a great place for all outdoor activities. They have a great variety of items. The service is great. The prices are competitive.
