Had viper remote start installed atcthe kokomo location. Im from Noblesville- i drove 45 min to this location because the nearest locations were booked 2-3 weeks out. Im glad I had an opportunity to visit this location. Tech(s) were knowledgeable, helpful and professional. And my installation took less then the estimated installation time. Pleases customer! Id return & reccomend

We came to the store at closing time. I was unware the store was closing. As we drove away, I stopped to ask an associate a quick question. I said, Hey, I have a really quick question. The associate replied Sorry Im off the clock. and walked away. I understand he was off the clock, but all I wanted to know was if they sold a specific item. Ill just take my business elsewhere.

I went here looking for a printer, they had none of the style I was looking for in store, but several on display to order and wait 9 days to receive. Very disappointed and clear to see they want people to order online, but I was looking for a printer that day with no time to wait on shipping. Went to STAPLES, went and got the printer I wanted and was on my way with their hassle free in store shopping just how it should be. I will continue to shop STAPLES!

This post is rating my most recent experience. For BB overall, I would probably rate a 4. The Kokomo store, though, for the past few years has been exceptional.For this trip, I had been watching the TV that I wanted to see if the price dropped for their early Black Friday event. When it went down another $70, it was time to buy. I went into the store because I wasnt sure if it would fit into my car.After a brief period of looking around, I couldnt find the one I was looking for, but an associate noticed and asked what I needed. When I told him the model I wanted, he checked his inventory and the went away to find it, returning in a couple of minutes with my TV.As I was measuring the box, I cut my finger in the edge of my tape measure, which I didnt notice until I went to get my card out. The associate and his peers immediately worked to get me a bandage and the get it cleaned up.When it came time to load it, two other associates worked to fit it into my car. They were polite and professional throughout, always asking permission to get into my car, etc. I didnt have to do anything but shut the trunk and say thanks.Altogether, it was an easy, professional, and quick transaction, and I got just what I wanted at a great price. Much appreciated.

Disappointed! I bought my wife a fitbit sense watch for Christmas. The charger that came with it has never worked very well. When I tried to get it replaced they said they couldnt and charged me for a new one. Fitbit used to have a one year warranty out of the box and Ive spent thousands of dollars at Besy Buy over the years. I may reconsider my options.

I bought an open box TV online, picked it up brought it home. When I was unpacking the TV I noticed multiple price stickers attached to the TV. The price listed on them was $220 less than what I paid. I contacted the store about a partial refund and was spoken to by an extremely rude employee that refused to even consider honoring the price listed on the stickers. Terrible service.

1/30/2021My daughter showed up on time for her car remote installation that I bought her for Christmas. Waited over a month for an appointment with Geek Squad. Drove almost an hour, and the store was closed when she got there. She waited an hour until they opened, and was told she was late, so they couldnt see her. When she first arrived, she let me know they were closed, so I called and called the number on the paperwork to let Geek Squad know that she was in the parking lot waiting, No one answered because it was the store number, and the store was CLOSED. So, she was turned away, through NO FAULT of her own, and had to drive an hour back home without her installation completed. The Geek Squad guy wasnt even apologetic, just made her feel like it was her fault! This was a terrible experience. Avoid this store at all costs.

About a month ago I went in to purchase a new phone. The counter was empty and I waited for awhile. 2 employees came to the counter obviously looking for something, did not acknowledge me, and walked away. A few minutes later one of those same employees came back to the counter and would have walked away again without acknowledging me had I not said something. I understand they may be helping someone else, Ive worked retail for 42 years, but at least say hello and tell me you will help me when you are done. Had i not needed the phone that day, I would have walked out.

Extremely disappointed in my most recent interaction here. Purchased a car stereo, wiring harness, and facade surround for my car on the Best Buy website and chose to have installation done at the Kokomo location. There was a promotion that installation was free with the purchase of the equipment from Best Buy. This was my birthday present. My husband took my car to have everything installed at the set time and date. He was told that they would need an additional $300 to install the equipment. When he asked the manager why this was, because on our receipt it said everything was paid for, including the wiring harness and installation, he was told that the website doesn’t always do a great job determining everything that is needed and that we hadn’t done anything wrong. After arguing with the manager for a prolonged period of time, the manager said the lowest he could do it for was $100. Unfortunately we didn’t plan to spend another $100 because we were under the impression that everything we needed was already paid for. So we had to have all our money refunded and we were out the afternoon and the (hour each way) trip to Best Buy from Rochester. VERY disappointed in this bait and switch maneuver by this location. They should have honored what the original purchase said.

I have Total Tech support. I have made significant amounts of purchases over a few years. I had a warranty on a nice TV which started a significant defect. They warranty department made good on the transfer. But there was suppose to be a professional home theater team to set up the new tv. Two men arrived with my tv and as I spoke with them, I found out they were not the theater team but mere drop off agents. So, I had them box it back up and set a professional setup at a different date. One of the drop off agents was rather rude about my original decision and became rather disrespectful. That team returned the tv back to the store.Later I set up a professional install date with a professional home theater team. When they arrived they stated that they were to merely drop off the set. After some rebuttal, they read the notes to find that indeed it was an installation. They completed the install and the tv set so low they said they could not set up my PS4 pro. I told them I would just find a way later to put it into place. On the same day I found a way to hook up the PS4. Much to my surprise, the power cord to the PS4 was nowhere to be found. I was in disbelief that the cord was not near the setup area for the gaming unit. I looked throughout the house and could not find it. I called Best Buy and they said that they could not get contact with the setup team. He assured me that I would get my cord back and five days later, no call. I had already ordered a new power cord from Amazon and received it. I am still waiting to hear from Best Buy.If I were you, if you have an install, watch the team like a hawk. If a cord can come up missing, I wander what else could be misplaced or possibly stolen. I am not accusing theft, but I sure am not ruling it out as of now. All wires should be placed in the vicinity of the device. What will be done. I nearly reported a theft charge with the police department. I am trying to let Best Buy handle it. Hope I didnt make the wrong decision. I am not categorizing all persons of teams of wrong doing, just that particular one.

A young man asked me if I needed help ( right away, thats good service ). I asked him to show me his least expensive laptop. He then shows me a $399.99 laptop saying thats as low as they get. On the back side of that lane are laptops under that price, infact they went as low as $179.99. it had the same stats as the $399.99. Then you have the fact there making me wear a mask. Should be my choice. I got help from other staff and it was good.

I bought a Netgear Wifi USB adapter in order to work from home. It turns out that it wasnt compatible with my work client. I went to return it a month later and was told it was outside of the return date. Its never been used. They have a 15 day return policy ... wild. Will never shop at Best Buy again. Make sure you read the fine print closely on the price tags in the mobile phone dept. I just paid $500 for a phone I thought was going to cost $350. The $350 was in large font on the posted price tag, but that was only with new service activation on that day. I had just signed the $34 restocking disclaimer and the associate had just opened the package when I got notified of the $500 price. The associate reminded me that I did look at the price tag. But the only thing in large font was the $350 price. I either had to move forward with buying the phone or lose out on $34. The whole thing with their pricing strategy for phones seems a bit gimmicky and misleading. It sort of reminds me of those gas stations with gas priced a lot cheaper than what the going price is, but the catch is that its only with the purchase of a car wash (in fine print under that big large font price on their roadside sign). This Best buy also did not stock any older model Samsungs like the s8 and s9. They were also unable to provide at&t next financing for purchase of one of the very expensive s10 since I think they were pushing the Best buy credit card. The visit today was basically just a bunch of disappointments.
