Jeff was really friendly and told us we were as good as gold for a vehicle with 3rd row seating. He said that because of the guy at the bank leaving early, he would have a driver deliver the car to our house the next day with the paperwork for my husband to sign. He took the day off of work to sign paperwork. Today we were told by someone else that it was a no and were really sorry.

What started as a heartbreak resulted in me driving off the lot in a dream truck. I have to admit that Trent at Legacy fought hard to try to get and keep my business. He came in on his day off to close the deal, and when the truck I drove 8hrs to purchase did not work out, he worked hard to find me an even better rig (very nearly my absolute dream rig). But to keep it brief, A tight budget and a ballooning used vehicle market has been a depressing experience as I have been saving for about four years, yet prices seem to scale accordingly. So when I saw a near dream truck, with extraordinarily low mileage at a reasonable price at Legacy, I called and put a hold on it immediately.I worked with Trent throughout the process, and he even came in on his day off to try to close the deal. However, during the test drive, the truck experienced an issue previously unknown to the Legacy (leave it to me to break things), but nonetheless causing me to be willing to eat the down deposit and walk away (despite being guaranteed that the issue would be fixed). Trent worked with me to find a different rig, and more importantly, he listened to what I actually wanted, instead of just pushing me towards closely priced rigs. Ultimately, upon hearing what I was looking for in a truck, he got up, told me to hold on a second, and left. Shortly thereafter, he rolled out front in a truck which turned out to be way closer to what I wanted, and what I described. I ended up leaving the lot with a truck that had not been put on it yet (Legacy just got it in on trade-in). I have to give it to Trent, that he is a hard working, no nonsense kind of a guy and I would gladly work with both him and Legacy for another purchase.

I was happy with the used vehicle. Unhappy with the poor detailing to the interior while we finished paper work. The car should have been properly cleaned prior to placing it on the lot. The car only came with 1 key fob and we were told LF would call the previous owner for the second fob. One week after and a call to LF about the issue, we still have gotten zero fob zero call back. They should cover the 300+ dollar replacement but I wont hold my breath. Sales people were nice and process to buy was fast. Overall good experience!

The service center is awesome!!! We were traveling through, thousands of miles from home, and our service engine light came on. I had an auto parts store scan for the code, contacted my normal dealer, and they recommended going to the nearest dealer available based on the code, and not to drive any further than absolutely necessary, or risk damage. I went to Legacy Ford and they got us fixed up the same day. What struck me most was how awesome the counter service team was. I’ve had a lot of experience with many different service teams across many different brands and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a service like this. Usually, the people at the counter seem to not have time, and are grumpy. This team was responsive and they were having a great time. Special shout out to Mike. The positive attitude he brings was contagious to everyone in the service center.

Service department has been great but Ive only been in for oil changes because I was supposed to get some free ones with my purchase which didnt happen. I bought my F-150 paid cash, no payments almost $11k and in less than 2 months it started having mechanical problems. Turns out those problems were the reason the last owner traded it in and it had had those problems long before I bought it. Called and emailed and was told to bring it in (when I had already told them it wasnt running and I was half an hour away) and they would take a look at it at my cost but that was the best they could do. I was very impressed with how accommodating they were during the sales process and I had even sent friends and family to them which got them 3 more cars off their lot. But once my truck was off their lot and my money was in their pocket the amazing customer service was out the door, UNLESS I could manage to get the thing to get there for an oil change then that great customer service was back πŸ˜‰. I was able to get it fixed after a couple thousand $$ and almost a year of not having a reliable vehicle. Id say if youre into gambling, Legacy is the place for you!

I highly recommend Legacy Ford for any vehicle purchase. I was looking on line for a newer pre-owned vehicle one recent morning. About 10:30 Jason contacted me and sent me photos and information on several vehicles of interest. I found just what I was looking for, and by 1:00 pm, Jason called me back telling me he has secured the financing, and would deliver the car to me the same day at my home 150 miles away. As promised, the car was delivered, the paperwork was signed and my trade in vehicle was on its way back to LegacyAs so commonly happens, especially during the COVID issue, certain paperwork was delayed which prevented me from licensing the vehicle in my home state in a timely manner. I also had a minor technical issue with the vehicle which I brought to their attention. Greg, the general manager, promptly returned my call and resolved all the issues.I think Legacy Ford went above and beyond what they had to do to help me. Customer service of that quality deserves 10 stars, but I’m limited to five.Check these guys out – they are awesome.

Service department was top notch. We were traveling through and pulled off to grab some food. Noticed transmission fluid leaking from my F150. Took it to Legacy and the service desk guys made sure my truck was the next truck on the lift to diagnose. Ended up being simply overfilled and was leaking out the vent port. They topped it off, washed the undercarriage and took it for a test drive to make sure no more leaks. Only had to wait an hour. Overall, real pleased with the service and people at the desk who were very professional and helpful.

The sales team was very professional very friendly and very helpful however I was told I would have two months with no payments due and before my two months is even up I started getting collections calls from the financing company wondering where their money was well upon further examination the wrong date was put on our contract giving us only one month of no payments. My fault for not looking closer at the paperwork, but I took them at their word and am now paying for it unfortunately.

Yesterday I arrived at Legacy Ford via a tow truck after buying a pickup (same day) in another town. I was at their dealership for approx. 6 hrs waiting for my trade in from other dealership to be brought back to me from another state. The 5K service maintenance was scheduled online....the service from start to finish was superb, they gave me a loaner to get breakfast, tire rotation, and the oil change was completed promptly....this was my second transaction at Legacy; January 2020 I had negotiated a purchase of a 2010 Prius for my daughter....all went as discussed the price didn’t change....so far both the Sales & Service Departments walk the walk....service with a friendly smile and helpful attitude. I went to two other dealerships before ultimately buying a car from Legacy Ford. I didn’t spend a ton of time at The Other Guys because they didn’t have the car I was looking for. Both Legacy Ford and Legacy Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (CJDR) had the exact car I was looking for, but my experience with each were miles apart.At Legacy CJDR it felt like the salespeople would tell you anything (true or not) to put you in their car regardless of whether the fit was right. They spoke poorly about the other dealerships both in town and out of town, and tried to create the sense that β€œno one will take care of you like we will”. Very β€œsalesmen”-like, and I understand that’s the job, but I just wanted people to shoot straight with me. I had several weird interactions (that are apparently too long to post) and it almost turned me off to dealerships altogether.Overall, the vibe at Legacy Ford was completely different. I worked with Steve Robertson, who- as it turns out- was an encyclopedia on Kias (the car I was looking to buy was a Kia). Having worked for Kia over 10 years it was clear he knew his stuff. But beyond being knowledgeable, it always felt like he had my best interests at heart. He was upfront about wanting me to buy from them, but actually encouraged me to travel if need be, shop around, and even buy from the competitor who talked badly about them if it was the right deal FOR ME. It never felt like he was selling me, and because of that, I was sold on him.Steve and all the people I interacted with there seemed very up front and down to earth. So if you’re the type of person who doesn’t like β€œthe game” when it comes to sales, you’ll enjoy working with Steve, as he’ll shoot straight.I started this review saying that Legacy Ford was the last place in town I visited. If you’ve read this lengthy review, you may think that was a mistake, but I honestly feel it was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. Having never bought from a dealership before, I had no idea what to expect. It took an okay experience and a bad one for me to understand how truly special the people at Ford are. Even though it was my last, I highly encourage making Legacy Ford your first stop if looking to buy a car here in La Grande- and work with Steve Robertson if at all possible. You won’t be disappointed!

I needed recall work completed on my vehicle. Living out of town, I made it clear I would need to drop of my vehicle and use a loaned vehicle. I would drive back to LaGrande and pick it up the next day.On the appointed day I drove in to drop my vehicle off. It turned out that the service department couldnt provide a loaned vehicle because I dont have full insurance coverage on my 10+ year old car. If that has to be a rule, I would have liked to know that upfront; it would have saved everyone hassle and time.So, because I had no other way to get home and the service department didnt have any way to solve the problem, I cancelled the service, drove my car home, and found a different, more accommodating dealership to complete the recall work.If you dont have my specific problem (a long drive in to LaGrande, an old vehicle with less than full insurance), its possible that this dealership is exactly what you need. I, however, was remarkably dissatisfied with the experience and wont go back.

I just didnt get a good vibe from here the last time I went. We bought one car from this place years ago and had a good experience, but the last time we went in looking for an f150, we got passed around to a bunch of different salesmen, had a truck sold that we were on our way to buy (we made an appt to sign paperwork!), and they werent willing to budge on prices at all. We ended up going with Walla Walla Jeep Dodge Ram and got a much better deal, including a warranty above and beyond what Legacy was offering.

I bought a Ford Flex 2yrs ago from Legacy Ford in La Grande. The whole process was easy and pleasant. The sales team is helpful without being too pushy. I had my car serviced and made a couple of warranty claims through the service department who were professional, courteous and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I got the best deal possible on tires and parts. I sold the car back to the dealership this month (right before Christmas) and had a check for the balance in my hand within 2 days. I bought a used F350 Super Duty about a month ago from Legacy in La Grande. The experience was positive. Friendly staff, got a good deal on the truck, and they got me great financing... even better than my own bank could do, saving me a few thousand over the term of the loan.Less than a week after taking possession, I got a check engine light on the console. Wasnt too thrilled about that. Made an appt with the service dept, and of course, the light goes off before I get it to them. They werent able to pull the code to figure it out. Over the next couple weeks, the engine light was on an off 3 or 4 more times. Took the truck back in, and was quoted $800+ for a repair. They offered to pick up half. That was something at least, but I wasnt overjoyed about a $400+ repair on a truck I hadnt even put 300 miles on. I think they sensed that, and said they would pick up the full tab.So heres the deal... its a used vehicle, sold as is with no warranty. By the sales contract they could have required me to pay the full cost of the repair. The fact is, they didnt do that. They made a decision based on customer service and building a customer relationship. They ate the cost of parts and labor in order to do that. That was above and beyond what I expected. That shows me that the folks at Legacy Ford will stand behind what they sell you, and are serious about doing right by their customers. Thanks to all at the dealership who made this a great experience. Guess who gets first crack at making a deal next time Im in the market for a new rig? If you came up with any name besides Legacy Ford, guess again!

Weve purchased a couple of vehicles from Legacy Ford, and my family at large has bought several more. Kind of a typical car dealership feeling inside and out. Salespeople are NOT pushy, but the selection is average at best. Biggest problem has been with Service/Parts... forgetting parts, misquoting prices (by 50% or more), or simply nobody being at the desk when you come in and need someone. This isnt universal, sometimes they are very helpful and timely, but it is hit-or-miss.

We recently drove from Vancouver to purchase a F350, we were a little nervous to drive this far for a vehicle because of past situations. Kenny told us we were all approved and all we had to do was come sign paperwork, leave the trade- in and get the truck, it really sounded way to easy ......but it was exactly this easy! Kenny even made sure to have the football game on so my husband wouldnt miss the game. they also sent home with us hats and Mustang posters for our boys....I wish they were closer because we would get all our services done thru them ...thank you so much we love the truck!

If you make an appt it should be s madehonored and not wait for an hour before it is done this is not the first time this has happened and I think you need a new service manager that can run a schedule of app made

I came in this morning, 9-13-2018, to purchase a replacement bulb for a turn signal on my Ford F 150 that had just gone out. Had outstanding service in making the purchase. I was passing through from Oklahoma to Washington state. Not having the correct tools to remove the taillight housing, I asked to borrow a socket and ratchet. The gentlemen working in the parts department asked for my key and had a mechanic take my truck away and replace the bulb and brought it back, at no charge. What really impressed me was the young man that took my truck to do the work, actually ran out from the garage to get the truck. He appeared to really enjoy his job. You have great employees, thank you.
