Great service! Took my car in for an oil change and they quoted me two hours. Not their fault I was in a rush, but I mentioned I might have to come back. They prioritized me and got me out in 45 minutes! Extremely friendly and professional. They didnt try to upsell me anything, but did give me helpful notes to keep on mind for upcoming service needs. I will use them again for sure.

Set up a quote over the phone to have my tires changed. When I got to the location I was met with unprofessional behavior. I was not told how long it was estimated to be finished, other than it will take as long as it needs to. Well call you when its done. They took my keys without verifying any of the information the quote was set for was correct, nor did they verify the make and model of the car. I had to ask for a printout of the quoted work to be done. I had gotten a call 30 minutes before the shop closed, that the work was finished. 15 minutes later, I had gotten a call that they were going to hold my car over the weekend. Not once had Carlos the salesman explained any of this information beforehand.Overall, unimpressed by the lack of professionalism, friendliness, and lack of key information given. If there is any warranty work to be done, I will return, but not for any further business from myself nor household.

Came in with a nail I. The tire, they were not able to patch, but did exchange the tire with a new one at a fair price. They gave me a time it would be done and they were true to their word.

Went in for new tires. The guys seemed less than happy to see me. He looked at my car and gave me a good price for tires. As he is writing me up he takes a call from the Padres and is trying to figure out how to get his tickets fir the game, then his employee came in to ask a question. He kept on taking to the Padres ticket person and ignored me and his employee for about 5 minutes. I peeked at him from around the counter and he saw me and put the Padre guy on hold, talked to his employee and then finally got around to me. Over two hours went buy and my car still sat. I offered to make an appointment and come back. He asked to give him 30 minutes to get it done and I obliged. 45 minutes later my car was up on the rack with no wheels and nobody around it. I went up to the counter and told him I really needed to be somewhere which is why I offered to come back. He apologized and gave me a discount which I appreciated but a lot of things could have been done better.

The service was good. However, when I picked up my car the receipt was wrong it said front brakes but, they replaced my back brakes. I called to clear it up, they assured me that they fixed the back brakes. They said that they would send me a new receipt. They sent me a blank receipt. Now Im left wondering if the back pads were cheaper and thats why the didnt send a new receipt? I was on hold the first time 7 minutes and 47 seconds. So Im not going to do it again.Customer service is important. They called me twice to comeget my car in a 20 minute period. So...

I highly recommend this place. They are very knowledgeable and honest and don’t overcharge you for things you don’t need. The manager Alex and allHis staff are amazing!! Anytime I have a problem with my car they are always really helpful and will educate me on what I need and why I need it.

Went there 1st thing in the morning to get tires. Alex was very helpful and informative with pricing and questions I had. I was there for a total of an hour and twenty minutes and on my way to continue the rest of my day. Alex and staff made my experience there very pleasant and easy and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Told me it would be 2-3 hours. I came back almost three hours later and they hadnt started on my car. They didnt call me to tell me they were going to be late or that they didnt have my tires which they said they did before I came in. I had my 3 year old daughter so that was a long wait for her. They compensated by giving me an upgrade on the tires at no charge.

FLAT TIRE- Really bad attitude of a Hispanic looking guy. He wouldn’t even let me speak or finish a sentence, he was rude and said there was no way they could fix it, that they were closing in 45 minutes and to move my car off his way 😳. That they were too busy. It was mainly the rude way he spoke from the very beginning. I did not get his name but can easily recognize him. Wow, he was having a rough day but … oh well, so dissapointed

I made arrangements to have new tires installed on my 1965 Chevy truck the day before. The man on the phone named Jason was very helpful. He took my information then gave me a reference number to use at the location. I informed him that the earliest I could arrive was 3:30 PM. He said that shouldnt be a problem but be prepared for it to take up to two hours, possibly more, if the store was extremely busy. When I arrived at the La Mesa location the next afternoon parking lot was FULL! I parked as far out of the way as possible and went in to talk to the gentleman behind the counter. He was alone, dealing with the phones, the technicians, and now me with my old truck. He asked if I was dropping it off and I said I would wait for it as thenold truck is a 3 speed on the column stick shift and the truck will give you a world of trouble if you dont know how to start it. It took some time but once they had a bay open they asked me to pull it in (no suprise). The had it up and out in 30 minutes once they had somewhere for it to go. The staff was courteous and did an excellent job for myself and the customers I saw. I will be back next time I need tires.

Best price I found out of 3 different tire shops. When I got my quote they offered me an appointment in which I accepted. My appointment was at 11am on a Saturday but my car wasn’t pulled into the garage until 12pm (I know this bc the Bluetooth automatically connects to my phone) and I wasn’t out of the shop until after 1pm. I am in total understanding that they were busy, but what I don’t understand is why they offer appointments if they don’t abide by the agreement of timely service. Other wise they were nice, but didn’t acknowledge that I waited very long for an appointment. Hence the 3 stars bc I feel very in the middle about the experience.

This was my 3rd or 4th time at this store, after having gone to 3 other locations throughout the years. C. Hernández is outstanding at his job. Very professional and great communicator. I had less than ideal experiences at other locations in the past. I will continue to return to this location because of Mr. Hernández great service and attention to detail.

Store #22 Grossmont Center.Counter gut threw an attitude because I asked to have my torsion bars adjusted to correct ride level. After hearing this, I told him hes just lost a customer, and he said thats fine. Sure glad hes not an employee of mine ! Are you listening Evans Tire ?

The people here are rude, dont wear masks, and tried to over charge my wife by over $100.Alex was the rude person. He ignored my wife when she came in and continued his personal call about his birthday and how many people were going to the vineyard. And yes Alex we speak spanish too. Then he didnt want to give us a copy of the estimate until I asked for one.Tells us at 4:10 pm to be back before 5pm because they close at 5. We show up at 4:45 and waited until 5:15. Not that bad but still.Then tries to over charge my wife $374.11 for four tires that we were told $262.26. I caught it and he said it was the computer. Really?On top of the fact she made an online appointment and they had no record of it but she had the confirmation.Last time going there.

I came in for an oil change but received a little more service than I was expecting. Cesar was genuinely helpful throughout my visit. Im so glad they have a checklist to help them inspect the vehicles, they found a loose bolt which made sense from my car feeling shakey. Cesar went over everything that my car needed and suggested what was priority, so I didnt feel any pressure to go any deeper into my pockets. Sometimes going anywhere for a car service, we worry about being told about so many other issues we may need, other than what we come in for but this was definitely not the case. So, thank you Cesar and the team that helped with my car! Good help is hard to find but I found it here.

I went in for a standard tire rotation, tire balancing and oil change. I purchased my tires form Evans some time ago. The service as Evans is always good and I have never had an issue with them, which is why I continue to return for their service. It can usually take a couple of hours since theyre pretty busy on the weekends.

I unexpectedly had a problem with one of my back tires and decided to stop by here. When I first arrived around 10:30 I was the only one in line. I had to leave my car and said they would do their free check by 3 or 4 that same day. I decided to do so while a little disappointed that it was going to take that long. By the time o left 15 minutes later there were 5 people behind me. The guy in the front desk called me at 11:30 to say I need a new tire and by 12 30 my car was ready. The guy under promised and over delivered,lol! I was so happy! Mind you, I am also in the service industry and this guy they had in the front was answering calls, on hold with their back office, and all the while helping people in the store. And he did it all with a smile and was knowledgeable throughout my entire interactions with him. It was excellent service! I may even do my oil change with them even though they are more expensive just because of the great service I received. Thank again!!

I did my shopping at several Tire shops, Costco & the dealership. Evans Tires was by far the cheapest with additional tire services such as free rotation & alignment ON SITE! They also had my Yokohama’s in stock! Alex & Cesar were very knowledgeable about tires & proper follow-up care. I will definitely return & I highly recommend!

Waited an hour for a rotation & balance with appointment . . . this wasnt too bad. La Mesa store did a side to side rotation (tires remained on same axle) instead of the cross rotation I asked for. They insisted a side to side rotation is the cross rotation I asked for and Id have to wait in line another 90 minutes for them to fix the rotation because they did what I asked for. They also didnt balance one tire as I requested (left on wrong weights). They were willing to fix the balancing error right away but again insisted I would have to wait in line to have the rotation changed. I couldnt wait another 90 minutes so I told them Id come back. Went home and looked up rotation patterns to make sure I didnt make a mistake in my request. No other tire source illustrates a cross rotation would leave the tires on the same axle like a side to side rotation does. I have no idea how they could be so poorly trained to not know the difference between a cross rotation and side to side rotation. Next time Ill bring them a picture. I really regret using Evans Tires. Discount Tire is so much more competent.

This location was able to take my car in for brake service, no appointment needed. Gave realistic wait times, called to inform me my car was ready and when I picked up my car gave me “aftercare” instructions and what to expect. Very kind staff and great service. Can’t beat price either! Will continue to come to this Evans tire in the future.

They were really professional, I called at like 7:30am because I needed to geta nail out of tire and repair it, I and asked a couple of questions, they told me I was due for my oil change and they could do the tire repaire for FREE! Its right across the street from where I work, so I run it over there and then he says, the oil change went up from $60 and some change to $80 and change, but he would give me a 15% discount.
