Great staff, super nice, and do what they can short staffed to ensure everyone is seen.

I waited almost 20 minutes past my appointment time. After I got home thinking my hair was shocking and not wanting to do anything. I took a closer look at it and I got the most bluntest of blunt cuts for a layered short haircut that I could have ever imagined. My hairdresser was sweet and charming and friendly and everything but I think she was in a hurry to get home.

I have been going to this location for years. Normally I get a stylist that I have used in the past. They listen and give me what I want. However, every once in a while I will get a stylist that does not listen and I get a cut that is not what I asked for or wanted. Today was one of those days, so my request to management is when a customer asks for specifics with a hair cut, give it to them and if the customers tells you You didnt do what I ask, DONT ARGUE WITH THEM. You get 2 stars because of the past hair stylists who actually listened to me.

I had emily cut my hair and she was super sweet, understanding, timely and knew what to do with my hair even without me knowing what i wanted done to my hair!! give her a raise :)!

Didnt give me the haircut that I wanted.

I have had 3 different stylist cut my hair. Each one has been good and I just got my hair cut this last week and the precautions they take to protect their customers is excellent. They should not have to close for Covid because this shop goes the extra mile in prevention. THey have plastic drapes separating each stylist and they wipe everything down between clients.

I called to schedule an appointment. They answered the phone right away. The lady that answered said to please hold and sat the phone down. She didnt mute the call. They began to have a conversation about how she hasnt had a break all day and to not double book her, that she already has another appointment. She said well the phone isnt muted and yet they continued their conversation. I hung. Way to make your potential customers feel welcome.

The handling of covid was very thorough, both customers and employees washed hands before the haircut, and temperature was taken at the door. The stylists are always very nice and respectful, and the haircuts Ive gotten are always exceptional. Strongly recommend!

Danielle. Michelle. = LIFESAVERS. those two ladies know what they did to save me... they were extremely knowledgeable about hair... and life. I miss those ladies.Michelle took one look at my hair and knew it was knotty and unruly and it felt like she took one look at me and read my inner most secrets. It was a definitely a deep experience when Michelle was rubbing my scalp. I was super upset I was about to lose 14” of my hair and when she said “you gave me the chill.. all that negative energy passed thru me” I almost screamed she had me so shook.Danielle is very experienced with hair and knows how to work those shears, blow dryer, and straightener.. she made me feel like a friend, which is a beautiful feeling when your about to lose all your hair.Danielle and Michelle. Michelle and Danielle... I cried with you at the salon, I cried after the salon, I’m crying now. Thank you. Thank you a million times.By the way- the super bowl party was great and work was amazing. Everyone LOVES my hair!! Thank you!!!

George was super friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated. I had to go from deep red to blonde to get back to my natural color and he worked quickly to make it happen. I’m extremely happy with the results! It almost perfect to my natural blonde after 3 years of being dark red.Just a warning to others though, not all color or hair textures lift the same. I had a miracle transformation but not all color corrections turn out perfect.Please allow time and possibly multiple sessions to get your desired color correction. Please be nice to you hairdressers! They always know best and try hard to get you what you want. Thank you so much George!

Although my hairdresser was nice and friendly. My goal was to cover to the gray. She went light with highlights and looks like I have even more gray. The haircut is not even and with obvious longer lengths on the left side. She seemed disorganized and fragmented the highlights in which different sections were taken out at different times. It was not worth $105

Waited over one hour for hair cut. Only two simple cuts before me. They told me because I came frim a store that just closed. I would get that hair cut price. . Nope full price n she never asked me if I liked the cut. I didnt realize she was dine . I dont like it .

I really used to like this place. I went in for a haircut on Friday. My stylist, Joanna, was very sweet;however, she left me with the worst cut Ive ever had! Im mortified! The short length with layers Ive asked for is extremely uneven and choppy I cant have my hair down until it grows out. There are CHUNKS of shortness and unevenness that curling my hair doesnt even hide it (chunks). I didnt realize this until my hair dried at home. I really regret not getting it blow dried at the salon so she could review her work! Thats another thing. Every single time Ive had layers, the stylist checks her work to make sure its even. She didnt even check to make sure it was even. I dont want to go back for correction out of fear my hair will be shorter. Riding this out and not coming back.

Ashley is my hero!! I had really awkward looking damaged hair and I was not sure who to trust to cut it so there was less damage and it would still look good while it grew out. I am so glad I picked this salon!! Ashley changed my quality of life with that haircut. She cut off all the damage. The cut is so fresh and cute. My hair so soft and shiny and damage free all thanks to Ashley. Definitely going back next time I need a haircut. She is so talented. I am so picky with my hair, and I trust her with my hair fully.

I’ve been coming here on and off for years. Always a good cut. I have no idea who the people were were for done if the negative reviews but they certainly aren’t there now. Always friendly and have gone out of their way to treat me as an important customer. Funny, charming and reliable.

Today I feel upset about my hair cut. I feel that it was cut too short. I feel that Ashley, my hair stylist, didnt understand the length that I had asked for.If I return to this location Ill be asking for a different stylist.

Missed hairs and one sideburn significantly longer than the other. Ive had to make sure people only see one side of my face for two weeks now.

Pat C is a terrible hair stylist that doesnt listen to anything you ask her to do. I came in to have my bangs framed for my wedding, and hounded her to keep the rest of my hair the exact same length. Even after telling her over and over again, she suddenly took nearly two inches from the back saying she wanted to take out the split ends without my permission. She then tells me shes more than happy to give me hair extensions afterwards like she was trying to scam me. My hair isnt even long enough to put into a bun anymore, and I cant have the style I wanted for my wedding without the expensive extensions.Dont let Pat C touch your hair!

Ive been here twice and never received any type of service. The older lady is incredibly unfriendly and lacks basic people skills. Both times Ive left within moments of arriving because of whatever excuse she has to refuse service to me. Recently I was told the salon was closed (over an hour earlier than posted and a couple of people awaiting service). Both times I just wanted a wash and cut, both times I was essentially forced to take my business elsewhere.

Disappointed. That is the word I would use to describe my experience. I set up an appointment time for my haircut. But when I arrived at my designated appointment time, a stylist took some one in who didnt set up their appointment before me. So I waited for 30 minutes before I left. If they cant stick to their appointment times, then they shouldnt have anyones business.

I went in saying I want to grow my hair long. Pat made me look like an altar boy. I havent cried since my 1st hair cut at 4 years old. At 47 I cried again. DONT GO HERE. I Complained and the manager said shed give me a discounted on my next cut. I WANT MY HAIR BACK!!!!

Realize that FS are franchises. Each price accordingly, here a wash & blow dry was $25 less the 10% for senior discount. Other FS would charge $18, just know Grossmont will charge more for the same average service you can get at other locations.

I went in to have my hair dyed and a cut. The staff was very friendly and I was seated quickly. My complaint is that I wanted all of my hair dyed, and they were very insistent on highlights... so I went along. The blonde hair I requested is now grey and gummy (even after washing it). So now I have to deal with damaged hair after paying an arm and a leg, and a scalp that feels slightly burned now.
