They wasnt stocked on everything. But I was able to find everything everything I needed. Im in a wheelchair and the employees were very helpful and pleasant to my needs. If one thing I could say they could do more is have more handicap motor carts would help.

Visiting Maryland and needed more warm blankets. Purchase three electric blankets. Well definitely be using them back home in Atlanta, Georgia.

Bad service, return a SDD drive that the software SN did not work to download the supporting software. They tried to tell me that they could only exchange it instead of a full refund although I just bought it less than two week and the receipt stated I could return it in thirty days and did not say I couldnt return it if it was an open electronic device. They only gave me my refund when I demanded to see the manager face to face and told them I was going to call my brother-in-law who is a Walmart VP in Arkansas their corporate headquarters. The woman literally through the money at me without saying a word. When I asked her was she mad at me or something she said No. Her body language said volumes. Folks said up for yourselves

Shopping at Wal-Mart was great, I found everything I needed and then some. KUDOS TO ALL.

Definitely a 5 star storeI was looking for a Maryland magnet, it said it was in stock but could not find it in store.

Every aisle had someone putting up stock, but the employees were very helpful in finding things that we asked about.

I purchased a travel duffel bag and shipping supplies. I was walking out the door I showed the door employee the receipt like normally in other states and got the go ahead to make my way out and the security lady walked right in front of me and stopped didnt say nothing to me I thought it was rude and feel like she should be looking at people who are actually doing something wrong. She should be e respectful and start apologizing for over reacting...

Ive been coming here to shop for food, and for 3 weeks, most food are still not stocked up on the shelves. Kept seeing alot of empty spots on nearly every aisles. They used to be well stocked back then.

Its hard for me to give Walmart 4 stars, 3.6 maybe, just because its Walmart - the blight of many small, independent stores. This store is nice, well stocked, decent employees and they actually have fresh fruit and vegetables. If I must go to a local Walmart it is this my go to.

This Walmart has never been crowded when Ive gone, but you can no longer pay by phone @ any WM, so thats a bummer.

Sometimes you want to call a store before going to see if they have what youre looking for. If you have to call this location you could put the phone down, go to their location and get the item, get back home and they will still have you on hold.

Walmart La Plata 👍 I wasn’t disappointed, they were well stocked and had everything I needed.

Of course there were no handicapped parking spots! So annoying to see people skipping to their car parked illegally. The store was surprisingly very clean and orderly. I found everything I was looking for and more. Quick checkout! I may have to change my route.

If I could rate a zero I certainly would. I tried curbside pickup for the first time thinking it would be a seamless process but the experience was beyond unsatisfactory. I received a notification of the hours and that my purchase was ready. The hours stated 8am until 8pm. The first day I came the phone line was disconnected later I realized the staff member Melinda disconnects the phone so that calls do not come in then she blames it on the phone not being charged. The second day I returned because no one assisted me initially. I arrived exactly at 800am and called the designated number for the pickup and it was not in service. I spoke with the manager Star who took no responsibility so I wasn’t surprised that her staff member Melinda was just as unprofessional and had a lack of dedication to her role. I explained as a customer the expectation is have service for the allocated time given. You don’t arrive at work at opening when there is a service that is suppose to be performed. I had to walk inside to get my items from the far end of the store which completely defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. There is no accountability at this store. The associates are lazy and unapologetic both Melinda and Star needs to be re-trained or find new places of employment because service is not a priority to them. My first experience with curbside pickup was horrific and I’m not interested in ever using it again because what should have been a 10 minute or less process exceeded 30 minutes and I was the only customer at that time. It would have been quicker to grab and purchase it on my own.

I love Walmart !! But lately I havent been able to get any Alkaline Water or lemon juice from Walmart in LaPlata, MD.. No Alkaline water !! I havent been able to get any for the past 5 visits..They need to limit the amount of items a person can purchase on a visit.. I dont mind shopping around . But this has gotten to be ridiculous !! Especially with the gas prices not going g down.. A waste of my time, gas again !!

Was clean and not crowded at the time I went. Asked for assistance and received it with no hesitation and guidance. Found everything I needed, love when its all in stock. A quick checkout and served with a smile.

Hands down the nicest Walmart in Charles county. I live 5 minutes from The one in waldorf, and I will definitely make the drive to Laplata because the waldorf one is a little dirty but the employees are nasty, except for 2 wonderful ladies (they are THE ONLY reason that I go to that one)

Accident service all the people were very courteous and very knowledgeable of their position and it helped me a lot all the time

Huge shout out to Technician Jeff!! Long story short, another Technician denied to install 4 tires to my vehicle that were purchased at Walmart.It was 35minutes before closing and he tells me it was too late to do installation. Before I drove away Jeff came out and was able to:1. Locate my tires that were delivered earlier that morning that no one called to tell me they came in.2.Take me vehicle into the bay and have service done!

Good prices as usual. It was pretty organized and barely merchandise on the floor unlike must Walmarts. Had quite a few employees on the sales floor which is was shocking since Walmart is known for lack of employees on the sales floor.

Was out of alot shelf groceries. Lots of holes thought out store. Not happy with that

This location tends to get fairly busy in the afternoons and evenings. Fortunately I shopped early this time. I was able to find all supplies needed.This was a favorite location, but I found a location in VA. VA location has a grocery store and other goodies I like. Also, the King George Walmart is hardly ever crowded.. in addition to that, usually well stocked.

I recently was traveling from North Carolina to Waldorf Maryland for a baptism when my glasses broke. I stopped at the Walmart in La Plata, MD to see if they could repair my frames. The clerk (Jeannie) in the optical department went out of her way to temporarily put my lenses in another frame. I was so happy to be able to read again that when I got back home, I called Jeannie, gave her my perscription and had her order me new lenses for the frames. She was really helpful. Thank you.was so grateful after

The pharmacy never opens on time.They dont wait on customers in order.Friendly staff,but not very good at problem solving.

Store is always well stocked but the food section could be a little neater

Wal-Mart has really gotten better with their selections of womens clothing...I bought a few dresses a pair of leggings and a top last Wednesday and went back yesterday to get two more nice dresses for the summer...Thanks Wally World...

Vision Center very helpful and friendly

Went there 4 a few items that were in my list & surprisingly I got all that I came for (except for a pack of gum for my grandkids), I wanted colored paper towels but they only had white (sigh). All in all I got what I wanted. I consider this a good haul.

I like this WM. Its almost like a hidden gem if youre traveling and just so happen to stop by. I say this because they have (packaged) meats, produce and other foods like a supercenter. They might as well make it one..

My rating is ZERO not one star by the way. On July 4, I decided to buy an extra battery for a recent purchased online(walmart.com). According to the site, there were four more batteries left so I went ahead and order one. At the end of purchased, it said, orders placed after 4pm are ready the next day. It also mentioned that I have a window of FOUR days to pick it up at La Plata branch or else it will be cancel. With all faith that I will get my item and I have till Thursday to pick it up, it turn out to be disappointment. I went to Walmart in La Plata last Wednesday to grab few things and to pickup my item. I opened my email to get my order number ready and I was shocked to receive an email from Walmart saying my item is cancel. The reason, due to high demand. What is that even mean? Did my item got sold even though I already bought it. Probably. I find that really irritating. The email I received was sent on July 5 at 11:33am. 18 hours after I bought my item. There were four batteries left. Did those really sold out in 18 hours? Come on Walmart and Walmart, La Plata....misleading advertisement and failed on order fulfillment. Disappointing. This was my second time buying online and I dont think I would even consider doing it again in the future because of this experience.

This walmart was ok. For this area to be more diverse in demographics, I would expect there to be more urban clothing. The items here were very Caucasian and redneck if you will.

Whoever that dude is that works as a mobile phone sales man or merchandiser needs to be fired. Very hostile and ultra critical without asking any questions or doing any asking of questions to find out why customers are doing what they do.

I normally dont rate Walmart but on this trip I found out they do stock vegan and frozen foods for us food watchers. I did see my bottle of Lysol concentrate sitting on the shelf! You dont miss your water til the well runs dry!!

Bathroom was clean. Just bought Gatorade. The lines were short.

I typically try to do all my shopping within my city but I do find this location have a better selection. They typical have items in stock that I am looking for. The biggest negative about this location, just like all the other walmarts, is the cashier shortage. Why have cashier lanes if you are not going to use them.

Always spend more than I want to. Not a complaint.

Walmart is a useful place for just about everything

I went to get my covid vaccine. they werent very busy, everyone was wearing their masks and p.p.e., the area was very sanitary and the workers were very friendly and welcoming. they wore their gloves as well with face masks. as an EM T, I am very pleased with my visit!

This is a pretty decent store. Hard to come by these days.

We went just to get it off the house, ended up shopping, finding things we needed around the house.

There was an extremely rude gentleman working the gun counter this morning who said I cannot buy more than one box of one type of ammunition. I just bought 9 boxes recently here. I have heard from local folks that they buy multiple boxes all the time for their shops from Walmart. His attitude and demeanor were appalling and he is likely saving them for people he knows. He was reluctant to even allow me to have one box and had a very rude attitude about even needing to help me. I spoke with a manager who said departments get to make their own rules. I have filed a complaint with corporate and will be reaching out to regional managers of Walmart in my network to report this. Unbelievable. The customer service has gotten as bad as Lowes La Plata which is also shamefully bad.

They are usually great with keeping things in stock, toy selection is great for the kids overall its a pretty good Walmart

Carts are worst than anywhere else and lines are ridiculous on weekends and evenings. Variety is pretty good.

This location is very clean, well organized and have great selection of store items. What I don’t like about this place is the parking entrance/exit from the highway.

I always always always have great experiences, when I shop at this Walmart! Great customer service staff, well stocked shelves, and the store is well stocked and well maintained overall. I actually live 45 minutes to an hour away from this Walmart location. And I choose to travel to this Walmart, as I never miss in what Im looking for in my shopping here.

Went to purchase tires. Guy sitting at the counter went to go get the youngman who runs the department. The youngman said to the guy that told him I wanted a quote, up the street, online. Walmart has the cheapest prices on tires. Yall just lost a sale.

For the most part this is a good Wal-mart. They do seem to be out of certain items a lot. They have a few not so good staff members, but there good ones are really good.

Its the Devils playground and yet its a necessary evil.

Walmart employees in lawn & garden, the Pharmacist and pharmacy employees, employees at the return counter always give Excellent Customer Service!

This walmart I choose to go to instead of the one on waldorf because its usually friendlier & cleaner. And visually easier to find what you need and get through the store. They are usually always busy but thats ok. I dont mind the wait for a better store experience.

Walmart in La Plata is ok at best. Customer service is awful and they NEVER answer the phones!! I would gladly pay the money to cross the bridge and go into King George to Walmart at this point. Get it together La Plata

Most recent visit was during the mid-morning and multiple aisles were blocked completely or just enough room to squeeze cart through with pallets of products to be shelved. Made getting around difficult. I thought this was being done overnight!

Nice clean and not super crowded. Great for Sunday morning shopping
