I ordered pickup and it was flawless. I also love the cheese and meat section here. Definitely my go to local grocer!!

Typical Safeway. Busier than others Ive been to. At least they normally have additional registers open. Produce is better than Walmart and Target. This Safeway has a gas station right outside.

Shopping in the store is the way to go. Curbside pickup is terrible. I picked a time for pickup thinking it would be around that time. After setting up the order online the system said to expect pickup time between 11AM-8PM. If I had known that was going to be the range I wouldn’t have gone this route. In the end it didn’t matter because I never received word that the order was ready. I checked multiple times throughout the day and no update. I checked in again at 8:20PM with no change to the status. I called the store to try and cancel the order since I never got it and customer service said I had to wait until tomorrow. Save yourself the trouble and never do curbside pickup at this Safeway.

Fully stocked with variety of items. A bit pricey but mostly fresh. The DriveUp and Go service is a bit slow. Customer service is not very friendly.

Found my Cinco de Mayo supplies.

Had stuff I couldnt find in other places was very pleased service was definitely good.

This store isn’t always fully stocked the way you would expect it to be but good clean store. A little hard to navigate but other than that all good.

Curbside was good during pandemic. Usually they will have some items missing. But last time I order curbside there was 10 missing items. I had to call and get refund. More work for me. And I always tip them at least 15 to 20 percent.

Sandy in Customer Service is one of the kindest people working in customer service in any business that I’ve ever met.Story: By most unfortunate dumb luck, I did over and hour and a half of grocery shopping and bagged all my groceries and managed to get them all arranged in my cart (no small feat since it was $430+ of food) before realizing in horror that I’d left my card at home. 😭I was embarrassed to the point of tears and Sandy gently told I could come back and get the groceries after I went home and got my credit card. She gave me kind assurance that it happened all the time and that my food would be refrigerated.My husband returned to Safeway 2.5 hours later. Due to a misunderstanding regarding how long they’ll hold groceries, my groceries got packed up shortly before my husband arrived. 😩 I called customer service to try and understand why this happened. Sandy openly admitted that she was the same person I’d spoken to in person apologized for any role she’d played in -what was for me- a tremendous and emotional inconvenience. Sandy was wholly sincere, thoughtful, and listened to my concerns and frustration with thoughtful attention.Despite it being a deeply irritating situation all around, Sandy’s compassion made it bearable and because of her, I will continue to shop at Safeway.P.S. It’s possible her name was Sandra. I hope I didn’t get it wrong.

I have to give a review for the great service I had. I ordered a bunch of platters for a small wake we were having. Ordering online was easy. My order was ready on time and the platters were done beautifully! All veggies and fruit were fresh and looked very nice on the tray. They even brought them out to my car for me. Everyone enjoyed the food. Thank you for a great job

This is my favorite store in town, 4 stars because some things have not been available lately but Im thinking thats Covid related, they have done the best they can considering the situation, the store is always clean, personnel are friendly and helpful.

They have Great selection of Products. Also with purchase gas points.

I drive 20 min to go to this Safeway for the florist alone! The selection of flowers and plants are amazing. Not to mention the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great store with a great team.

The prices, selection or PEOPLE(STAFF) were not phenomenal. Definitely left a lot to be desired, but the essentials were met and I was able to pull together a decent breakfast for the family

Stop here after reading post about floral arrangements, OMG the best and freshest arrangements you wont be disappointed, theres something for every budget, never seen such a friendly staff,if theres something special you want they will make it happen. Itll cost you but they will help.

If you havent tried thier San Francisco style sourdough bread from the bakery you must do so!!!! Its the best!!!! They will slice it for you too. Their Safeway Select pizzas are excellent too & I highly recommend them, especially when theyre on sale 3 for $10.

They steamed my shrimp perfectly. The store was crowded, so I used self checkout. All was good.

I needed a box to carry some cakes and they were so sweet to make sure I was good.

I feel this Safeway is clean and the staff are pretty friendly and helpful, Starbucks inside is always a bonus!

La Plata Safeway was satisfactory. The cashiers need to engage with customers. Acknowledge they are there, did you find what you were looking for?Should have 3X5 card to write down what they couldnt find with POC, date, email & leave at customer service!

Easy in and out, friendly

If you live nearby and you need a last minute item, Safeway might sound like a good place. Friendly and weloming staff but totally pricey. No matter what time of the day you wish to stop by, mostly it is hard to find a parking spot.

It used to be Safeway was always such a nice store. The cashiers are so rude like they could care less!! Customer service SUCKS!!!

A lot of the workers there were very nice and helpful, and if I was just rating on that I would give 5 stars. My family and I went there today, we went in through the deli side, there was a HORRIBLE smell as soon as you entered. The entire store is expensive and some items dont show their actual price and find out the something for $3 ends up $13 at the register. Other than the small issues, its a good store and looks very clean.

Perfect example of love-hate relationship with a store. Some items are unexpectedly good, others just... disappointing. Same goes witj pricing. In most cases the staff goes out of their way to help, in others it makes me wish I have gone to Giant or Weiss or Aldi or...

It was fine. Got in and out quickly. Not too crowded. Found what I needed easily. My emotional support dog brought lots of smiles to lots of peoples faces. Employees were nice and respectful.

I think Safeway is overrated and expensive.

The rotting meat on your shelves might be why the entire store smells like the back end of roadkill in the middle of summer

You cant get any help findung things or getting help to your car with your grocerys at night. I love this store but, there isnt a manager in duty anymore at night and it is hurting this store. Im still on a heavy boycott of Safeway. I was not impressed by this one either.

Safeway is high end grocery store. I shop mainly for the produce. I think they have the best fruits & vegetables. When I cant get to the Dutch Amish Market I go to the Safeway. Its really close to home which makes it convenient. The store is very well organized & clean. The bakery section is good too. They have individual slices of desserts & thats a good thing bcuz I dont want to buy a whole cake or pie just for one slice.

The cake I picked up was delicious. I was a little shocked at the price because similar cakes were less expensive. I guess thats why it didnt have a price sticker, lol. It was worth it though because the cake was gone in a blink of an eye.

Its not fun going grocery shopping since the EVENT happened this year, but friendly Safeway employees make it much easier.

I want to like Safeway but alas they do things the Laneway. Been wanting certain items that they use to stock straight from the Mead halls of Valhalla (they had the best chicken sausage things) but they have not had a stocked butcher shop since before covid unlocked Pandoras box of medical wonders. Go here for basics only as thats all they seem to have.

There is a lot to love about this Safeway. Fruits and veggies section is outstanding. So is the bakery section and protein selection. While the aisles have a lot to choose from--they are too narrow. Hence only 4 stars. The narrow aisles make this store seem more crowded all the time. I do love using their pharmacy for flu shots and getting discount coupon to use on groceries.

Had all but one item I was looking for. Great sale on meats. Cashier was very friendly and polite. Im disabled and the Young man followed me out and helped me place everything in my car from the riding cart. Extremely helpful. Customer service was top notch.
