Cool store to find retro games and accessories. Decent prices on used games, so-so on trade ins . Good place to get lost and fill your arms with throwback fun. Extreme collection of pop vinyl collectables and they pay cash or store credit for yours. Something can be found here for many types of collectors!

You feel like if you know everybody that goes in to this store cause yall can relate. Old school vintage games and new ones too but the classics and with good deals.

I walked in Friday 10/30/20 at around 5:30 to look for some stuff. The guy behind the counter didnt greet me or ask if I needed anything. The games were inconsistently priced (i.e.; same game for a specific console had 2 or 3 different prices on the stickers). Approximately 60% of the shelf space was devoted to Funko Pops ( I thought this was a game store?). There was an odor of smoke in the air like someone was smoking prior to walking in. Not going back.

Nice selection of old games and systems for sale. Good friendly service all around. The guy I spoke with was helpful and clearly knowledgeable about old systems. And the pricing appeared to be pretty reasonable, as opposed to some retro stores Ive been in that want like $10 for a loose Atari 2600 Space Invaders cart etc. Id definitely return if I was in the area.

Friendly service and a good selection of used games for all consoles...these guys know their video games. Got an awesome retro console that plays all the original Nintendo cartridges. My Husband and I had so much fun playing Super Mario Bros. with our 12 year old. He actually likes the game...even though the graphics arent as good as XBox.

My first visit here I was completely blown away by the sheer volume of their stock. Every wall was completely lined with row after row of Good to Very Good condition copies of nearly any and every game you can imagine. The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. If you asked about a particular game you were looking for they would turn over the entire store to see if they had a copy on hand for you to check out.Most retro game stores youre lucky either if you find one with reasonable prices or one with a good stock to sort through, but Game Bros. has both in spades. It was almost overwhelming to peruse through their entire store. Several times I had to stop myself from getting carried away with my purchase, because I was finding title after title that I had been hunting for but no other store had ever carried.Add to all of this the fact that they offer a rewards program and promotional discounts and youve got what is quite possibly one of the best retro game stores in the state. I will most definitely be returning in the future when Im once again on the hunt to expand my collection, and when my wallet has fattened up a bit more. :)

Really poor trade in prices for rare games. I had 7 games that were hard to come by and was offered $105 and was told I even bumped it up a little. I looked at the guy and told him I know what I have and I understand that you have to make money too but youre trying to get over on me. I remarked that I knew what I had and what theyre worth and the guy said obviously not. I just smiled and said I dont need money that bad, Ill just sell them on Ebay (which I did and rather quickly too. Took less than a week) and got $278 for the items I did sell. If the last game wouldve sold I wouldve gotten over $300 easily but I decided not to relist it. Apparently its common practice to rip people off so they can make a buck. Sell your items elsewhere because youre not going to get a fair price. I requested $150 for my items lol still less than half of what they were worth. Avoid this place like the plague.

One of my favorite places. The games are at great prices, they have consoles, accessories, cables, the whole bit, and they have an amazing disc repair machine. It fixed the legendary infinite loading between planets on Ratchet and Clank.

Ive done business here many times throughout the years, spending a good amount of money. The one time I have an issue with a system (WiiU) and go to them for assistance, the Manager on duty was rude, and did not care to help me. Long story short, I purchased the system, brought it back because there was issues 2 days later and they wanted to give me another one that was all tore up, scratched up and had a screen full of scratches. I asked if they could just fix the one I originally purchased or give me my money back since they did not have another in decent condition and they told me no. They called the owner and he didnt seem to care because he was out at dinner. I understand that we all have a life outside of work but if you own and operate a business, its your job to deal with issues since the management staff you appointed cant have decent customer service. Sorry excuse for customer service and management. They were great when I was spending money but lousy when I actually needed help with one of their products that was defective. So, if you have an issue with one of their products, youre sol... Will definitely not do business here again.

This is an awesome store...the owner, the manager and all of the workers are nice and friendly and love to joke around when me and my wife come and visit. Cool place I really love the fact that you are keeping retro games alive. Walked in to a guy on the phone, didnt acknowledge me whatsoever, stood there with my card, didnt even make eye contact with me for a few mins so I looked around for a bit, got off the phone still didnt bother to say a word to me, asked him a question and he gave me a flat out no for an answer.....ok cool bye. Knowledgeable staff with a large selection of retro games. Found an old copy of Assassins Creed II for the PS3 here after looking through GameStop. GameBros is definitely for people whore trying to get the best games for the best prices.

I have been to all 3 of there locations and have to say there employees are very friendly, well educated, very helpful, and make the shopping experience very easy. The employees help you find what you are looking for and at a great price. I have meet both owners and they are both involved in the business making sure the customer are treated right and the have a great selection to choose from and great prices. I would definitely recommend them because they carry from old school gaming to new school gaming, great variety, great prices, nice employees, and I have been to several different gaming stores throughout Houston and they definitely are my #1 store due to the fact that I usually get what I want plus some shopping there. Despite some of the reviews I would have to say they try and please there customers but cant please them all, they still try and acommadate them anyways.
