Many staff do not wear masks, especially in bakery and deli. The other day, staff was serving food without mask. Ive almost given up on expecting them to have chicken gizards for my dogs

After shopping in this establishment I returned to my bobtail semi. They called the cops on me for driving here to do business with them. I will get a ticket if i do it again. I have done this many times before this. This is the last time i use my Kroger card anywhere. Wal-Mart thanks you for driving customers away. Are you gonna call the cops when those trucks deliver your goods?

I used to be an advocate for shopping here but lately its been horrible. And today will be the last time I attempt to shop here. Out of almost everything on my list. I nearly left the cart in the middle of the aisle and went to HEB. The only reason Ill be back is for select items they dont sell at HEB. They also dont offer ready meals or any convince foods like HEB.

Be aware of rotten meat at this store! They set out rotten chicken and other meats on a regular basis just to turn a profit. No regard for the safety of their customers. We have thrown several pounds of meat the same day of buying. Do yourself a favor and buy your meats elsewhere .

While shopping there, two employees made no attempt at social distancing. I was at the self check out scanning my groceries. I had to go in as delivery and pick up have no availability for the next four days. I turned to get an item from my cart and the employee working that section breezed right behind me, despite having room down the center of that section to move herself away.I couldn’t move away as there wasn’t room for me to step forward. Then another employee came up with her groceries to check out at the POS in front of me. Same deal, close as she could get to me.Just imagine how many customers they get close to that they can avoid but don’t?Yes, shout out to the employees working the stores right now... the ones observing safe distance and sanitation methods.

Has pretty much all I need

Stood in a long line to pay my electricity and gas bills. Finally got to the counter and was told the system was down and she placed a placard in front of me that said essentially we cannot accept bill payments at this time. I left and spent a lot of my bill money elsewhere. I hope Im not cut off from either of them. I guess I need to find a more reliable place to pay my bills...like the US Postal Service.

I live within 5 minutes if this store but will drive 15 minutes to an HEB to shop there. This was the last time for me. I dont care when you go in there that something is on sale (if you have a Kroger card) and once you get checked out you see the regular price charged. Dont say this is an isolated incident. I conducted my own test shopping there five separate times. There are times there are NO SHOPPING CARTS in the store and was told by an employee I had to get one out of the parking lot. LaPorte gave Kroger a sweetheart deal Im sure, but like I said I avoid this place like the plague. The produce dont even get on the radar with the great HEB produce.

Always clean and presentable. The aisles are comfortably wide and you never feel claustrophobic or get trapped in an aisle when its busy. The layout also flows very well and maintains its consistency.

I love Kroger everywhere. I shopped here when I travelled to see my daughters high school graduation. I loved that it was right across the parking lot from our room at Candlewood Suites. Kroger has the best quality for a good price. The stores are always clean and smell nice and I love the high ceilings and so bright.

Quick and easy to buy food or household items here. Plus get fuel. The only negative I have is the coupons dont always give clear instructions, several times Ive gotten to the checkout and found that the Coupon wont work. Overall I am happy with the service and products here.

Awesome customer service! Really love the new Click List option where you order your groceries online and pick up in the designated parking area where they deliver it straight to your car. Great selection of most things, but if they dont carry it, all you have to do is ask. Excellent hands-on manager who is very personable and friendly.

We came for beer. Why is it that grocery stores cant carry more beer options? There were so very few to choose from. The store was clean and the checkout was easy and fast. My only complaint would be when we first entered it smelled like a latrine.

Their gas stations gas is overpriced by 15c/gallon when compared to League Citys down the road. Price gouging?

Worst experience with Kroger’s the attendant at at the self check out was so rude. I guess people don’t understand that I can spend my money any were else. I understand it’s a big company but I also see that store operates with one register. That tells me business is not so good. Just imagen if you treat people nice.with so many people moving to our area.

Very happy with some of the workers here and everything is easy to fine! Omar and Brenda are the best employees there! Brenda is always ready to help in self check out and Omar helped me with finding items i needed.

Deli staff isnt trained on sanitation properly. Handling phones, money, and even wiping their face with the gloves they use to prepare food.Watch them closely, Ive personally had to speak up multiple times to get them to switch gloves.

Kroger does not offer wifi? So the app coupons you email me are what? Starbucks in Kroger also...no WiFi. Bad experience. Please rectify. You both are better than that. I havent given a One Star in 2019 until now. Disappointing

I’ve been to this Kroger’s twice now and had the most awful customer service. I never leave reviews but after experiencing the same thing not once but twice I refuse to go to this location. The first time I waited for nearly 40 minutes on someone to assist me in the floral department to get 1 balloon. The person who initially called for someone to come over and assist me literally sat there the whole time and watched as NOBODY showed. Eventually I ended up leaving. Wasted a trip. And my friend missed out on a birthday balloon. Again I attempt to go to this same Kroger’s and pray for a better experience. I am looking for a jar of cherries and ask a sales associate where I can find them. She proceeds to say, “They are over there. You will have to look.” Excuse me? She had not kind voice about it, she was very rude, and acted as if I was an annoyance to her. I’m not asking for the whole nine yards but a simple amount of kindness and customer service goes a long way is what I have been told. I have not experienced this treatment ever at my Seabrook location. And like I stated previously I never write reviews unless I truly feel they are warranted.

Well, Here we are. It looks like HEB has finally put the last nail in the coffin for Kroger. At least here in La Porte, TX. anyway. Long story short... I spent the greater part of my time this trip walking around the store looking for an employee while listening to the manager over the intercom system calling for his employees like he was begging them to return to their work areas. I never did find anyone to help me find what I was looking for. Once I arrived at the checkout area I was disappointed to see that there were only two registers open and they both had several other customers with their weekly shopping lined up. When I approached the Under 15 item line I was curtly told that she was closed. But wait, what about the self checkout lines that have infested grocery and hardware stores? Here we go, 1. I dint like them and believe that they are a cop out for actual customer service. 2. half of them were out of order. 3. There were more people with a weeks worth of groceries checking out in the self checkout lines. So, I left my hand basket with my fifteen items sitting right there in the middle of the floor, never to return. Why anyone would want to patronize this store when HEB has done such a good job right down the road is beyond me...

Open from 9am-4pm during Harvey. Coordinated very well and lines moving easy. Some items out but they tell you and they are waiting for new supplies. Workers are nice and helpful. Thanks Kroger!

I love my Kroger......BUT, the check out lines are never more than 2 registers and the self check out. The only time I have went in and there were more, was a Saturday during mid day. Its getting so ridiculous how there are not enough checkers. Some people dont like using self check, because they are old fashioned or just prefer to pay a human other than a machine! What about jobs! I often go to other stores in the area because I am getting inpatient with the La Porte location!!

Its a Kroger. Small, sometimes the employees are nice, sometimes theyre obv. just working for the end of their shift. Occasionally the self-checkout alternate ID doesnt work. Starbucks in the store is a Godsend though.

The selection is not large, but produce is decent and they have wonderful customer service. I love their ClickList and their employees always give me the best of what they have or they replace at no extra or lower cost.

So my mom called the store at like 5:30 today (August 30th) and asked what time they were closing, and he told my mom they closed at 9:00. Well we had to wait for my dad to get home so that took about an hour maybe, were at Kroger at 6:29 and drove up to the doors to see if they were open and the man walking outside was unlocking the door and closing it as he stepped out. I just want to say that we arent under any curfew, theres no flooding or damage, so if you said you were going to be open until nine, maybe you should have considered all the people you said that to and actually did it because there are FAMILIES doing without all over Houston as it is, were suppose to be taking care of one another in these times. If I could rate lower than one star, I would.

The closet neighborhood grocery store in my area. It is fast and convenient, plenty of parking spaces. Usually not crowded, it really depends on time & day you visit this store.

Lazy staff in the evening...heres my chance to vent. Typical Kroger with decent enough choices, with the usual high prices. However, in the evening...its each man for himself as, you are going to pretty much be forced to use their godawful self-checkout option (that can be fought with difficulties), while you enjoy watching the paid staff loll about. Heaven help you if you decide to do full-on shopping past 9p-10p.....ugghhh. NOT IMPRESSED....

Very friendly employees. Especially the pharmacist he was so personalable. We were having problems with one of the prescriptions and the insurance. He took the time to make sure that he got the doctor and the insurance to talk to each other to okay the medicine. Which I had tried to get the doctor talk to the insurance and they just wouldnt do it. So it was really special when he took the time out to make sure that we got an answer.

I live in Old La Porte so this Kroger is the closest and most convenient grocery store to go to. I will not be going here anymore. The ground Turkey meat I buy has been spoiled almost every other time Ive bought it! I keep going back because once again, the convenience of not having to drive 15+ minutes away but I will not anymore! I called to let the meat department know that this keeps happening the lady that I spoke with just said well bring it back she didnt care at all and told me she doubted the meat was bad since she just got it in that day??? She also hung up on me when I asked to speak to the manager. Id rather drive to a store that cares!

Had everything I needed, well organized and clean. I used their CoinStar machine to trade in 2000+ pennies for bills (costs 10.9% of value). Bought groceries with that money :)
