Excellent service. Snapped a double door spring on a Sunday night & they were able to squeeze me in and had me taken care of by lunch the next day. They were informative & found some other issues with the original install by another company - gave me options with no pressure on purchase. I originally called for an estimate (advertised as Free Estimate - See picture for reference) for a garage spring. The representatives I spoke with were all nice - so no complaints there, but when I called I specifically stated I wanted to get a price before I committed to anything (or at least a very general idea), as I had called two other places and they were able to give a range for the replacement cost. They stated a representative has to come out for the estimate. The representative came and looked at it for about a minute (to verify the garage spring was broke, which I stated over the phone), gave me the prices, and stated they also provided a free inspection. In between the arrival and inspection I stated I was deciding on which company to use, and they informed me the cost was $25 for a service call to look at it. While I dont expect free services, if you advertise for a free estimate, itd be nice to let customers know that if you dont go with them that there will be a fee.

My husband called these jokers before calling around and got ripped off 800.00 our new unit looks used it scratched up and for that much money I would expect it to look new! Call around after I called a few other companies one came out and quoted us 300 less and a better unit than the one he paid 800.00 for!

The service call was initiated because of a broken cable to a spring. Upon inspection it was determined that the spring retraction system was old, weak and outdated in a house built in 1980! A new coil spring system was installed rapidly, and at a reasonable price. Several payment plans were offered, and the entire transaction and installation was handled in a pleasant, professional manner! Technician Roberson was extremely professionally and knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend him and A1 Garage Door Service, and will call them again when needed!

My garage door needed a general inspection and lubrication and the rollers were getting rusty and noisy. Had the door lubricated and the rollers replaced. Amazed at how quietly it operates now. My technician was Devonta. He was an absolute professional. Courteous, friendly and listened to my concerns. Offered several different ideas for me to consider. Just a really great guy and very considerate.

Jeff Vance did a great job. The door looks beautiful . It has a nice powdered, shiny finish . The door is sealed well to keep out the winter drafts . Thedoor has a new spring that is a lot stronger than the old pulley type springs . The door also has a solid lock, not easy to break into . The door is metal, but looks like an expensive wooden door . I am quite happy with it .

They were very professional. Our door even arrived a few weeks earlier than promised. Luis arrived on time to install our new garage door and opener. He got right to work and when he finished he cleaned everything up including the leaves and dirt that was already in the garage. He took the time to set the app up on my phone for the opener and then walked me through how to us it and to know where to look on the wall unit if for some reason there would be an error code. I will definitely recommend them and feel it was money well spent.

Had one of my cables rust and couldnt raise the garage door. A1 garage sent someone out right away. Jeese was very knowledgeable and professional. The inspection was a nice feature. He was even able to hook me up with some new springs ( ones that are actually strong enough to support more of the load).My door weighed 35 lbs prior to getting new springs! I no longer hear any grinding or whining when the door opens.Very satisfied.

Devonte came out and did a tune up and replaced rollers. Also checked overall condition of door and gave me an idea of what should be replaced/fixed and some other useful information. Very straight forward and honest, but not pushy. Super knowledgeable and polite. He’s an ex marine and very squared away. Highly recommend A-1 and Devonte if you can get him.

Devonte was so helpful in walking me through all the different options to make my garage door work properly. He was able to determine the problem and had everything needed to get it fixed right away!

We have an old garage door which had a bottom panel that was bent and was causing issues opening and closing. Colby came out, took a look and made adjustments and lubed the door for us so the door was usable again, and to top things off he tracked down a brand new replacement door panel instead of insisting on replacing the whole door which saved us about 70% of what a door replacement would have cost. He was very prompt, very courteous, very knowledgeable and just all around a good guy and a good company to do business with. Thank you Colby!
