Awesome range with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Owner and most of the staff I have met are combat veterans. Definitely come check out their new shoot house! The right side of their range is set up with realistic floor plans and room clearing scenarios. They offer dry, simulated and live fire runs that allow you to train without burning through a ton of ammo. Definitely a fun challenge for shooters of all experience levels.

Clean, no frills, simple and cost effective place to shoot. Friendly staff always welcome you in. Not as tech fancy range as you might find at other ranges but that is also reflected in the premium you pay to shoot at fancy ranges. This is a very fair priced effective spot to train. It will be my go to spot in Omaha.

Ive been going to the Bullet Hole since around 2008. The guys and gals who work there have always been courteous and ready to help. A lot of their employees are veterans, which makes me feel pretty good. Its nice to associate with fellow veterans. Anyone new to shooting or looking for guns can expect a square deal from the Bullet Hole. I feel confident giving the Bullet Hole the highest 5 star recommendation. Shoot often, you will feel better.

Was a first time handgun buyer and they were extremely helpful. A gentleman by the name of Jeff helped me out. Answered any questions I had and corrected me on a few mistakes. In the end he even helped me choose the correct gun for me. 5/5 will be coming back.

I have been shooting at the Bullet Hole for years and I love the direction they are headed. I dont want to go to a range to drink a beer, have lunch, and get a workout. I want to be proficient with my weapon so I can defend myself and my family. The one-on-one approach that Geoffrey and his staff have in place is perfect. Its a positive environment without pressure or stress that allows me to get in and out over a lunch hour. Keep up the good work!

I really appreciate this place. Not only did Geoff help me get over my fears of guns, but also helped my little sister learn about guns and taught her to shoot. Andrew went out of his way to help explain more to my little sister about guns and offer to teach her more about shooting. They are informative and friendly and that’s what I love about the bullet hole. You can tell they genuinely love what they do.

The place is convenient for practicing! Hope we never have to actually use our weapons, good to know how to safely use them if need be. My boy and I go together. Can usually get in quick for practice. Guys there are real veterans who greatly encourage self protection and self defense.

Very helpful staff. Had a maintenance issue with a firearm. A simple issue involving a piece not fitting when I tried to reassemble the firearm after cleaning it. Turns out a tiny fragment of metal was obstructing the part from fitting but it was so small I couldnt see it. The staff found the issue which fixed my reassembly issue free of charge.

A Fantastic place to train and practice with you pistols and rifles. Staff is honest and helpful. Their prices are very fair and Geoff will get you anything you are looking for.Go try the Bullet Hole and enjoy!

Great range. Easy to stop in and burn through some mags quickly. Ventilation and lighting seemed fine to me. Even with other 3 other gunners there, didnt seem overly loud. Staff was helpful as well when asked questions regarding improving form and accuracy.

Great place to shoot and there’s never a wait. Very friendly and knowledgeable about staff. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Staff is very nice and always helpful and willing to give their advice on guns and accessories. Range is ok, but nothing special, and actually a little overpriced perhaps for what it is. Parking is a bit limited, but it works. Five stars if it were just a bit more expanded on their stock of guns and if they gave free coffee.

Like all ranges you need to meet the employee. Under staff at times but will help with your needs. Youre falling on ammo stock is on you.

Very nice people working there. The range has a poor ventilation system. The targets constantly move. It would be helpful if they use a different kind of cable system to hold targets. I go here to practice, shooting moving targets. FMJ is not allowed. I dont know why? The competition does.

I have read negative reviews on the Bullet Hole but I have never had any bad experiences in the 10 years I have been going there. The staff at this point in spring of 2016 are all great guys with knowledge about there products and current laws pertaining to all of the products they sell including class 3 items. If you go there on the weekend when they are crowded then expect a wait and the staff to be slightly overworked since the range is at capacity and there are 25 people milling around waiting to shoot.

Decent place. Im not a regular at gun ranges but the staff is friendly and intelligent, the noise suppression is good and they have plenty of things to look at.Not as cheap as shooting with my grandparents on some old country road but I guess its ok if you like to spend money standing around shooting guns inside.Im always a bit uneasy when with unknown people with guns. You never know whats going through those noggins. . . But good place.

I was a little dubious after reading some of the reviews on here, but i had a good experience. Yes, theres a lot of brass on the floor and the targets swing (you have to wait while for them to stop swinging if youre trying to actually judge your accuracy). But contrary to what some have said I found the staff both friendly and helpful. I had some issues with the revolver I was shooting, and they not only fixed the problem, but gave helpful and knowledgeable advice about ammunition etc. And they didnt charge me for the minor gunsmithing, and subtracted the time from my range time. Overall a very positive experience.

Great place to shoot a weapon or get great service. They know their weapons and how to assist you with your purchase or get you on the range in minimal time. Great group of people although it is a bit difficult to get to. Take 108th south from Harrison and turn west on the first street....behind Tornado Car Wash. The Bullet Hole will be on the north side of the street.

Ive been to the Bullet Hole maybe a dozen times or so. All I ask of the staff is to run an efficient & safe place and get me on the range quickly. They have done that every time. The targets do sway a bit so I send them down range as soon as I hit the lane. By the time I get ready to shoot, the target has stopped swaying. Im glad there is a shooting range in Bellevue. Ill never go there, its too far to drive from my house but a little honest competition is always a good thing. Public ranges are always an adventure on some level but I have enjoyed my time at the Bullet Hole and will return.

Awesome folk there, very helpful and friendly. Only reason for 3 star is the climate control in the range is completely missing. Very hot and humid causing eye protecting to steam up.

Straightforward, simple, and easy to use range. Helpful staff who pointed me in the right direction regarding gun cleaning solution. Will be back to continue using the firing range.

Bullet Hole, until recently, has been the only game in town. Because of this, they were able to charge above the national average for indoor lane shooting. In addition, they dont have an advanced enough containment unit to allow for a variety of rifle rounds to be shot there except for frangible, soft point, and hollow point. This, of course, excludes the most common rifle round out there used for target shooting, FMJ. Of course Bullet Hole is one of the very few places in Omaha who actually sell these types of rounds, surprise…surprise! Once you’re ready to shoot you have to deal with a cable target system that bounces and sways the target back and forth for a few minutes once you put the target out to the distance you want because there is so much slack in the cables. Finally, the staff has somewhat of an arrogance problem. From when you first walk in until you checkout, they don’t make you feel welcome at all and that you’re nothing more than an inconvenience. Even trying to talk to them about some of the weapons they have for sale is challenge. Most of them are not nearly as educated about the firearms they’re selling as they would like you to believe so take everything they say with a grain of salt…especially when it comes to the price. Thankfully, there is a new facility that just opened up in the Omaha area where the problems that exist at Bullet Hole aren’t an issue there. I will be taking my business to them from now on.

Lets start with the good. I typically go in about once a week(saturday or sunday). There is usually a few lanes open. The staff is very friendly and quick to help you with what you need or want. The have many target options available and the place is kept clean for the most part(indoor ranges always have casings all over the floor, but they do their best to keep it up throughout the day). They have a vast amount of ammo and accessories and they are all reasonably priced.The bad? Gun selection is lacking.Overall I am very pleased with this establishment and will continue to go.

I have been a customer of the Bullet Hole since 2005. I have found the staff and the owner true advocates of the second amendment, that many are military veterans and patriots, and persons of outstanding quality that love their job and helping customers. Their prices are not outrages and I believe their profit margin is competitive to that of large business chains which is hard to compete with being product sold in bulk can be sold for less price, but the bullet hole does it well anyways. The staff is knowledgeable, whereas big out door chains rotate people all the time and many are extremely miss-informed and generally try to sell the fire arm they are trying to offload from inventory where the Bullet hole sells you the firearm that fits your needs. I support my local gun shops and their employees and would rather pay a couple of extra bucks rather than to a big chain like Dicks Sporting goods, who dont actually care about the people they serve or their second amendment rights, just profit. I do and I will recommend people looking for a good safe place to purchase a fire arm, take a CCW class or pick up tactical accessories, to head on down to the Bullet Hole in LaVista Nebraska.

Its an OK place to shoot at. The employees told me that you have to have either a Concealed Carry permit or Handgun Purchase Permit to shoot a Handgun, when state law is 18 to open carry. Dont really want to go to a place where they lie about the law.

Cool place, helpful younger guys working there. Took my glock in to have a part replaced on it and they did it fast and didnt charge an arm and leg. Thanks guys

I took an Introduction to Pistols class and regret it, It was not worth the $100.00 price tag. At the end of the class we shot on the range. I hadnt shot a gun in maybe 30 years, most of the hits where within the target area. I was very happy with the result.The instructor come by and starts talking about groupings.He took my target and showed it to the class and said if he was going to coach me he wouldnt even know where to begin. I thought his comment was very rude, since it was a beginners class and I immediately asked to leave. I had a very bad experience and wouldnt recommend the Bullet Hole for any firearm education.

These guys are frosty and know their stuff....from Fudd guns to Rambo. The range is nice and if your looking to test a gun before buying one....they might have that model for rental shooting. If you want surpressors...or other class 3 stuff.... Geoffrey Harrison is the man to speak to who works there. Great place to shoot off a few mags. No hassles, friendly crew.

Bad experience when renting a weapon and ammo from this place. First off, Weapon didnt function right, bullets were hitting the target sideways or tumbling. Went back to them with the problem and returned the leftover ammos, They still charged me full price for this faulty weapon including other fees. They dont care about good customer experience. Not renting from these guys anymore.

Absolutely hate this place. Never friendly and over priced on everything. Know-it-alls that judge a book by its cover. The range was okay back in the day. Hopefully the new competition in town puts this place out of business.

Updated review from 5 years ago, minor grammar issues corrected:This particular gun store specializes in two things, used weapons and misinformation. To make a long story short, these crooks sold an ar-15 to me under the guise of it being a new gun and also being a complete rock river assembly. I later found that both of these statements were not true and demanded a refund. The first statement was fairly easy to disprove upon getting the rifle home; the previous owner did not clean the rifle properly and the bore was full of black gunk; another dead giveaway: the gas tube assembly was severely damaged. The second claim of the rifle being all rock river proved to be a little more difficult to disprove. But after a long conversation with the folks at the rock river factory; they ran the guns serial number and stated that the weapon left their factory as a stripped lower receiver. Another curious thing to note about this rifle was the appearance of the letters CMP embossed in gold on the upper receiver; after some extensive Google searches I determined that this upper receiver was removed from a Bushmaster Commemorative AR-15 made for the Civilian Marksmanship Program and placed on the rock river lower receiver. These two facts solidified that this rifle was not what the bullet hole had represented it to be. I did get my money back after several trips to the store and threatening them with the BBB. The end result also came with me being banned from the store for life. Like Id ever want to go back anyway.

The staff is rude and cocky. They are always to busy. Their range is crap and the prices are ridiculous. Not to mention, not being able to use fmj is such a pain. Thats what I hunt with so thats what I want to use to practice on. Not happy about it at all.

Ok so the range is older and needs updating. It works but they dont seem to put money into it for upkeep. Lots of improvements needed. Customer service lacks. Ventalation also seems a little week but it does seem air conditioned compaired to others which is nice in the summertime. Another minus for me is I cant shoot fmj rounds in this facility. They require hollow point or soft tip rounds which are more expensive than regular fmjs.

Not satisfied at all. by the time i get my target down the lane its bouncing so much on the cable that i cant take an accurate shot. customer service is marginal. They dont seem very welcoming..so glad to see another shooting range has opened in bellevue. will be going to the other one for now on.

The range always has a few people on it but Ive never had to wait for range time. The staff always get me set up quickly and dont waste time, but are friendly and courteous.

If the Bullet Hole was the only place in town (which it was up until over a year ago), I would go there, but thankfully it isnt anymore. The place is dirty, brass is everywhere behind the firing line, the staff does not even bother to pick any of it up during the day, the lanes are not well lit, and the cable mechanism used to hold and move your targets completely sucks; the cables are very loose, and the ventilation system causes your targets to sway like crazy. There are no range officers on duty, which is a concern. The staff is OK, but they are definitely the gun snob sort. I took my CCW class here, I passed just fine, but it definitely was not worth the price I paid. I have since found out that there are better CCW classes for a lot less money, that was my fault for not doing more research at the time. I would highly recommend shooters try out Take Aim in Bellevue, it is everything this place isnt and more. ~Ken

This establishment is cheaper than its competitors but the quality is bad. The staff is also sketchy and try to rip people off on products.
