I love this shop! True I havent been to any of the others but from the very first visit they have been nothing but friendly, helpful and patient. I truly believe in supporting local small businesses and they do offer military discounts. I cant wait to go on their shop dives. Slowly but surely Ill be visiting them to work on my kit.

New local dive shop tucked away. Super cool place, makes you feel any home. Coffee, couches and good friendly people. They carry tons of mares stuff. Not a bad selection. They are a new dive shop and will have more inventory soon. Also give a %10 military discount which is killer.

Wonderful dive shop in Lacey. Walking in the shop has a great energy there. You can tell the staff loves what they do and it really shows in their attention to customers and student divers alike.I recently finished my recreational sidemount course with instructor Jay. It was a challenging course in that you’re learning an entirely new way to dive but with the right instructor it was a challenge you could meet.I appreciate the calm and attentive style of Jay’s instruction. It was a lot of new skills to get through and he had the patience of a saint as I fumbled and bumbled through S drills for the first time.I never felt rushed, I never felt foolish for not being perfect. It was a great class and I have a solid base of skills to work on.I look forward to furthering my diving with more classes from OTH Diving. And of course they just have cool shirts and stickers. I’m always down for dive flag themed odds and ends.

Great people, very knowledgeable staff. If youre new to the sport or experienced this is a great place to get gear and everything scuba.

Its great to have a dive shop in the south sound. Long time in the making. Great selection of dive gear for the novice diver all the way up to tech. Air fills available as well as nitrox and tri mix

Best dive shop around! They can teach entry level to technical with the same instructors and fill everything in house. Owners are very friendly and very helpful. I went from recreational to technical with the instructors and theyre amazing. They dont do it for the money, they do it for the love of the sport and to have more dive partners. They make sure that after youre certified you continue to dive and have people to dive with. I highly recommend this shop!!

This is by far the best dive shop in Washington!! As a woman diver in Washington it can be so hard to find a place that feels inclusive! Off the hook diving is that place! Mary is a sweetheart who work in the shop, if you ever just wanna go chat about anything she is very knowledgeable about dive gear and just life! The owners are the sweetest people around the dive instructors are the most qualified I have ever met! I have gotten to dive with Don, Jay, Terry and David who are all so inclusive, safe and FUN! If you want to learn to dive or just support a great shop with kinda hearted folks putting their all into it come to off the hook diving! They will always get you the best deal on whatever you are looking for and a great community to dive with! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

5 stars! Would give more if I could. This place is the best. Got my open water certification a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience. Not only do I feel competent with basic dive skills, but I had a blast. They got me hooked on this sport! Once I got my open water, they stayed in touch and planned future dives so we could keep our skills sharp and get to know the dive community. These people are seriously amazing! Look forward to seeing them again soon.

We were super happy to find an SSI affiliated Dive Shop to take our Drysuit Diver Specialty Course with! We were even happier with our experience with Off the Hook Diving. Everyone we spoke with or interacted with were fantastic! Terry and Mary both were so incredibly helpful, a wealth of knowledge, and a pleasure to talk to. Jay was a fantastic instructor and helped me get through some of the early nerves I had prior to diving in the Puget Sound. They went above and beyond in ensuring we had a great experience!
