I was excited to but a tool there. It had a light up magnifying glass too. Put it together added batteries. Turned it on and nothing. Checked batteries. In less than 2 minutes they were very hot. Took out and packed back up. Im not happy.

Harbor Freight is great in and of itself but this particular store not so much. The employees all have this umwelcoming attitude and when I can help it I try to avoid this location.

Labor Day sale had great prices. I bought several packs of blue cased batteries (Thunderbolt?) for 4.99. Better batteries than Diehard and cheaper than Costco.

Good selection of cheap tools and shop items. Not the highest quality but you get what you pay for. Its good to get your specialty tools here that youre not going to use very often.. just not the kind of tools youre going to take to the job and use every day.

The service I received at Harbor Freight in Lacey was excellent!I am beginning to work on my own car and need tools and a place to keep them. The staff was very helpful, especially Connor! He gave detailed and honest advice about the tools and equipment available, making my decisions a whole lot easier. I saved hundreds of dollars and have everything I was looking for!The low prices are why I came to Harbor Freight, but the employees are why I will come back.

This is a great tool store. They run deals on diferent items Ll the time. They sell a really cheap Warranty with sll there stuff and it is worth buying it they will return your item with no questions asked and give you a brand new one. No other store has that type of warranty.

Do you need to go to Harbor Freight, ask yourself 2 questions: Do you need a tool to complete a project? Are you on a serious budget? If so, this is your place. Almost everything is relatively poor quality Chinese made tools. This isnt where you buy tools to pass on to your kids, this is get it done and make it work. Glad to have the option to buy nearly disposable tools, because that is often good enough.

Found what I needed and a few other things. I donlike the price even if the exact item I went in for was not in stocks. The substitute works and much better price than other places.

Wish they closed later than six. I did buy a trailer cargo rack for my suv, and the nice gentleman wheeled it out to my car on a dollie for me, which was a lifesaver after I realized I wouldnt be able to carry it out myself.

Went to buy us general tool chest was told 2 months out for delivery.went to Lowes had what I needed got a craftsman at a cheaper price.and it was in stock.harbor freight needs to have tool chests in stock they are losing a lot of sales.but us general chest are nice .

You gotta love the prices here. They have most tools you need and some toys like RC cars, planes, etc. I always get my tarps here, huge selection and great prices. Also picked up a $20 parachute hammock on an impulse buy. Other than the questionable quality of some of the tools, whats not to love?

This is the first location I have given five stars this store is awesome and has great prices as well as all the tools are great here. I would recommend this location for any of your tool needs. I will definitely be back. I only wish I was able to do reviews to get tools to use and test at home to provide better information for the customers and their needs. Other than that please come here check out their selection and their prices you wont be disappointed.

Excellent service from the staff here, I can always rely on Harbor Freight for most supplies, just because they were close to us but, as time goes on i really started to go back there more often than not. Which is totally fine with me, its close, its cheap, and the people there seem to enjoy working there so it sounds like they treat their employees well, and thats always a good thing. I know they have cheap tools, but ive bought stuff from them that has never broken, never let me down and I still have 4-5 years later that works like new.Ive been able to do projects at home and make a living because of the price of their tools and accessories.Perfect for the beginner hobbyist or the professional who just needs something for a small job that wont break the bank.And even if a tool does break from normal use, its not as bad when the cost was low to begin with.

Best place to buy small work tools that youre willing to lose... So your not paying arm and a leg. If you leave them at a job site or lose in the crawl space well you got your money worth

Harbor freight is my favorite tool store. The product are not the top brand name, however they definitely get the job done for the right price. And with the warranty system they have in place, it’s a no brainer for me. Also the variety of tools under the same roof is unique and unmatched

I was followed around the store as if I was there to do something wrong male employees are very rude that store really needs to start thinking about changing up their employees or at least have a little bit more etiquette little did they know I was there to buy welders for project for a college needless to say they missed out on me buying 8 welders and home Depot got the money instead it just goes to show you dont judge a book by its cover just because Im not wearing expensive clothes doesnt mean that the person doesnt have money its called being conservative so I think twice before going shopping there I suggest you do the same but thats my opinion

If my daughter could DATE this store...she would call it heaven on earth! We were after the contractor, 45 gallon time to bag the heavy wet dump runs befor to hot THE bees and VOLLUNTEER CREWS often find better things to do....the kicker we have to have them..only product available, 35 gal 1m....now im in hem hA mode,what to do... when suddenly my sales associate says you know its probably going to take me a few minutes but if youre willing to wait I think I saw a couple of what you wanted sitting way back on the shelf that I might be able to get it for you he came out with the bags sav3d my whole weekend I love Harbor Freight

Today was my first harbor freight experience & let me tell ya.. i may be in love. Sure, its not the highest quality of products but the prices did make me a little excited, to say the least.as i was walking up & down the isles in pure awe i couldnt help but think, harbor, where have you been all my life??? I think i even heard it whisper back, literally a mile down the road, rhi rhi. everything happens for a reason, so the universe must have big plans for us if it took this long to find each other..Folks--magic does exist & its not just in Disneyland or Capital Forest. Its actually between pacific & lacey blvd, right off college st. Youre welcome. make good choices.

I am starting to see a trend at these stores.It appears they are moving in higher cost tools. Do I know if there is good value in them? Sorry I dont. I dont especially care for the latest trick. You see a tool. In this case a light. 50 bucks. Rechargeable. Ok I think maybe then I noticed. If you didnt read the box you would get home and find no battery. Extra. No 12volt charge cord. Extra. No 120 volt cord. Extra. I saw a man with a battery weed eater the other day and he told me he liked the tool. Not a Harbor Freight. But was switching his tools to that brand because they all came with batteries and chargers so he now had 5 batteries and chargers so he could keep working. These lithium ion batteries dont seem to last long enough for me either.

Must have been 15 or more employees! Every time I was trying to find something, I was able to flag down an employee instantly to point me in the right direction. I went to the Harbor Freight mobile coupon page and was able to save about $24 on my purchase today! I just took screenshots and they scanned them off my phone. I dont know why people bash this door, 90% of the stuff they sell is every bit as good as Snap-on and Craftsman. You just got to be smart to not buy that other 10% of the stuff they sell

I didnt even know this place existed until recently. Its absolutely fantastic for keeping stocked up on hardware and tools as needed, though this particular store is a bit on the small side.

I live in Taylorsville UT, and til recently our store was well pretty messy and the service was lacking. When I shopped at the Lacey WA store (helping my mother move in and fixing things), I thought olay ill go here as I love HF just not the lack of ppl to ring help guest or stock or the normal mess. I was shocked!! The place was clean, well stocked, organized, and there where more than 3 people at the store to do.all the work!!! I was able to get in and out within 20 min. ( I got about 300.00 of needed tools) and back to my project. Every person that walked through the store was greeted! Most of the SLC area stores need to take a note from this store and it is a busy store...

Ah, Harbor Freight. Also known as Hazard fraught. Your wallet can start smoking here. You see, its cheap tools. You get what you pay for. But if youre only going to use something three or four times, its well worth it. I didnt feel so bad using a Sawzall to death.

The products we purchased here were fine. Our experience here though if I could give it a 0, I definitely would. My sister and I were in the painting section, we had a question about the spray painter, asked the employee stocking, she was just rude. We disregarded it, moving on. Proceeded to look around just in case we saw something we needed to avoid another trip, and she continually followed us around the store. She did so until she saw us in the line to check out so she ensured that we weren’t going to steal anything. The fact that she singles us out in a crowded store was unprofessional and uncalled for, just for being a non typical customer, but we gave her no indication that we were there for any misconduct. Also, she wasn’t wearing a mask.

It has great inexpensive tools. Good for the home owner that needs a tool for a job.

What can I say, its harbor freight. Cheap tools and lots of things you end up leaving with that you didnt necessarily need.Friendly enough staff, though they seem to get overwhelmed at certain times. This isnt due to a lack of trying on their part, but a small-ish store with tons of people buying cart loads of cheap tools will do it to anyone.Give them a chance and dont go during peak hours and youll be in and out soon enough.
