This place definitely needs more help. I went in last Sunday morning to buy some Rear main seal, stop leak. I waited 6 feet back from register for 8 minuted while one customer was being helped and the other counter worker was on phone with a customer. If your not going to have enough help at least do self checkouts like Walmart. I ended up going outside and ordering from Amazon online. It only cost $7.12 on Amazon, delivered to my door the next day. Advanced wanted $8.99 and wanted me to wait to get gouged on the price. Is it any wonder Amazon is putting these type places out of business

Advance Auto Parts on Highway 78 in Ladson is a great place to go for all things auto parts and accessories. I have had many successful trips here and was able to find exactly what I was looking for. The staff here is knowledgeable and patient in making sure that everything is taken care of. They do a good job here.

The gentleman was nice enough to come offer help and help me find what I was looking for, but when it was time to check out the woman behind the counter was not personable at all, nobody offered to help me install my wiper blades, and two employees sat out front talking to each other while I fumbled around trying to figure out how the mechanism works. Eventually the gentleman who initially helped me inside stepped out and asked if I needed help, but I had already figured out by then.

Awful service all around. Came at a decent hour before closing interested in buying an alternator. The staff refused to serve us even though they advertise for free alternator and starter testing. With three workers available they told us they didn’t have enough people to send out one person to come to my car which was parked right out front

Came in and wasn’t really sure what was wrong with my battery... Drea came out and tested it and replaced it all within a half hour! She was so kind, and didn’t make me feel stupid which is always a fear when you’re going into an auto parts store and know very little. Will always come here from now on! :)

Went here to get a part. When i called ahead of time i was told that the part was in stock and that it was available for pickup, but when i arrived they could not dind the part. So the associate said he could order and have in 2 days. I agreed and came back 2 days later. To my dismay once again there was no part at the store. Nor was there any record of the part being ordered 2 days prior. Needless to say i went somewhere else

Brad got us in touch with a mechanic who was able to fix our car that night and get us back on the road. The staff helped turn a very stressful situation into a quick resolution. They are the best!

The customer service at this location is terrible. After waiting multiple times the manager said they could not even help. We are having a problem with the battery from Advanced about a year ago keeping a charge, the first guy said they could charge it but not tonight. After asking it we could leave it with them he said no, because they would have the car towed. They advertise free battery testing and installation but then told us we would have to remove the battery ourselves for them to look at it. After the battery died again from whatever test they ran on it that said the battery was fine just a little low on charge we had to jump it again from our other car because they were too busy to help. Thanks for wasting an hour to be absolutely no help. Avoid this location if you actually need any parts or have questions. The manager Bonnie has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, said maybe if we came back another day someone could help........or we could wait around.........and maybe they would be helpful before close. Dont waste your time or money here.

Unacceptable, purchased 3 items and all 3 were the incorrect part numbers. They really dont care about any problems that causes you.The store on St. James in Goose Creek is a much better managed store.The problem is not Advance Auto its the management of this store. They dont get customer service.

WORST CUSTUMER SERVICE EVER! I called the girl was clueless. I went in the store she still was clueless. She told another associate what I needed, the lady was very knowledgeable about where the items were. I asked which one would most likely be used for my car. She replied, you have to check that yourself. So i proceed to check which part was correct, it was totally different from what she told me to look at. So i got a entirely different item to temporarily fix my car until I can go elsewhere to properly fix my problem. I WILL NEVER USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN! And wont refer anyone here. Im pissed.
