Dropped my phone @ work, so I calked only for an estimate to replace the screen, the person wow answered told me it would be $20 to check the phone in and get a price for how much the screen would cost.

BBS is the only company I will let work on my computer. Their charges are fair and I usually have my computer back in a couple of days.

They must have closed down. There is another business in the place it was. I called and left message but no one called me back.

I called on 10/01/18 to get a price on fixing the screen of a Moto e4 plus and was told I have to come in for a price and that it could be overnighted. I spent my lunch break going in and was then told Id have to pay $20 to find out the price. I asked what happens if I dont like the price I hear and was told I could get store credit.The outcome? I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs. I knew the price and timeline before being asked to pay anything. My advice is to change your policy and be transparent on pricing. I would bet your inability to give quotes over the phone is killing your chances of getting new business as well.

Nothing but a scam here. Tried to charge me a diagnostic fee for buying a new laptop charger. Conned my dad out of $300. If youre looking for somewhere to get electronic work done then look elsewhere.

They did a great job fixing my laptop fast. I was in the middle of an online class when I got a virus. They had the test done within a day and repaired the next day. Will use again.

I want to apologize for not giving BBS an opportunity deal with the situation that had occurred when I picked up my phone yesterday before I gave BBS a bad report. I went to them this morning soon as they open and they handled the situation immediately. We all make mistakes but I am really sorry BBS. Tylor and his manager really took care the situation at hand!! Also I have talked to a guy name Mike he was very easy and nice to deal with. I would use them again. The reason why I went them in the 1st place is because they did an awesome job on my computer. So YES BBS Computer place is awesome to work with and they are up front. I will continue using them. The 1st lesson is never drop your phone on water 2nd lesson is give people or businesses opportunities before you start bashing. My data was damaged from bad virus. Took it to BBS and they cleaned the virus and installed new virus program that is free. No more money going to Norton. Reasonable price and quick repair. Hamm

I took my computer to BBS for repair because I was not able to power the computer on. I was having a problem with the charger and the charging port and thought the DC jack was bad. After 2 days BBS called home to tell me that the motherboard was shot and it would cost me $400 for a new one. I decided to take my computer elsewhere for a second opinion, I had a feeling that BBS was trying to overcharge me. The next day, I took my computer to Lowtree Computers in N. Charleston around 10am. They called by noon time to tell me it was the DC jack, the total cost for repair would be $200. I picked up my working coputer at 2pm the same day. Very professional, polite and fixed my computer quickly. I fully trust Lowtree and will shop there again. Do not take your computer to BBS for repair!!!

I dropped off my laptop here to merely have the backshell replaced. A few days later I was notified that my touchscreen digitzer had been damaged in the process. The technician told me that the digitzer would be replaced in goodwill and I would not be charged. What ensued next has been nothing but a headache.Upon arriving to pick the laptop up, I noticed that the screen was different. It was no longer as vibrant and clear. It had the color-shifting aspects of a TN LCD monitor. I dropped the laptop off with an IPS LCD monitor which has more vibrant colors and does not color-shift. I brought this up and the technician then revealed to me that the LCD was changed too. He advised me that the manager would contact me to resolve this error. It has now been over 2 weeks with no phone conversation with the manager. When I asked to speak directly to him, the technicians would say that they only have messaging and e-mail access to him. When I asked for the source of the screen, I was told that it was confidential.tl;dr I dropped off my laptop for a simply outer shell change that wouldve cost me $30 total. Now Im in an over $400 mess because BBS computers replaced my expensive LCD with a lower quality LCD. The manager did not respond to my inquiries as to why the panel is different. This is an extremely shady company if things go wrong.

My toddler dropped my brand new iPad and the screen broke! I called apple but they said cracked screens were not covered under warranty and it would cost me $250. A friend told me about this place and they replaced the screen for a lot less than the apple store.
