I ordered replacement door handles for my car from their parts department. I was very clear about what doors they were for. When the parts came in, I took them elsewhere to get them installed, and I was informed that one of the handles was not for the correct door. I contacted Hampton Toyota, and they said theyd give me a refund, but when I got there, they refused to refund my money because I did not have the bag the part originally came in, even though I had my receipt and the original mistake was theirs to begin with.

Ridiculous! First, I went in to get my oil changed. I had an appointment for the Tuesday morning at 8 am. Early to get it done! When I made the appointment, Brent pulled up my car and knew the kind I had. Well he failed to mention a recall that needed to me done. I get there at 8! I waited on Tuesday, it only took an hour. While I was waiting, another person was told and offered to get recall fixed by another worker. When I was DONE checking out, Brent finally mentioned the recall to me. He said it would take about 2 hours. I wish I would had known ahead of time, I would had gotten it all done in one day! I scheduled to do recall on Friday! I had to take a day off of work and line it up with my husband. Yes they mentioned a rental but why?? My appointment was at 8 am and I was there right on time with not many cars. Well I call at 11:30 to check and it didn’t even go to the back yet!!! I was told that they were trying to get everyone in before the storm. How when I had an appointment at 8 am?! I was told when I got there that they try to get the people that wait first, then why make an appointment? I wasn’t even told sorry or anything! By the way, I need to do stuff before the storm too which was the point of my appointment!
Had such an amazing experience buying a new car. Dallas was beyond helpful. Best sales person I have ever dealt with. On a scale from 1 to 10 I give Dallas a 15. If you are looking to buy a Toyota Dallas at Hampton is the man to see.

Elijah was our salesperson at Hampton Toyota, and we could not have asked for better! He was attentive and thorough. We made three trips from Lake Charles to Lafayette - one for my husband and I to preview the vehicles available, one to bring our grandson to review the models, and then a final visit to purchase the vehicle. Elijah also texted information that we requested promptly and without shortcut verbiage. Customer service in the service department was horrible with separate two service experiences. My service advisor was Leslie Whitteker. She has very poor communication skills. My car had a scheduled service. I waited in the service area 4 hours without any communication from her until I went to check on the progress of my vehicle (after calling her extension twice with no response to the messages I left). At this time she explained that my service was still not complete (after two separate groups of people who arrived after me had departed). She offered me a shuttle because she stated it would be two hours more before my vehicle would be completed. I took the shuttle. I began calling to check on my vehicle about two hours before closing since I still hadn’t heard from her (my vehicle had been there since 8am). I received her voicemail. An hour until closing I called again and again received her voicemail. At this point I tried calling to speak to someone else but it because obvious to me that the dealership has caller Id because the service cashiers began picking up the phone and automatically transferring me to her extension with even greeting me. After three transfers without a greeting I called from a different number and was greeted immediately and I asked for a supervisor and not to be transferred again. The supervisor answered the call and I was able to finally speak to Leslie only to find out that my car still wasn’t completely serviced. I explained that I wanted my car returned as a two hour service turned into an all day event with poor customer service. Once I returned I was told by Leslie I would be called to come in on Friday to complete my service. That call never happened. I called on Friday and left a message with no response. I finally received a call on Monday to come in on Wednesday. I returned my cat on Wednesday and received a loaner. After waiting all day for a call I called back to check on my vehicle and was told that the service department closed at 6pm not 7pm as previously told and I would have to wait until tomorrow to get my vehicle. Later I noticed that she did send a standard text message that my vehicle was ready but no call or voicemail to contact me personally prior to closing and not hearing from me. After reading other reviews I realized this is a pattern with her and I will not continue to patronize this dealership when this is the service provided.
Quick, inexpensive, and relatively good service. Service center is great while the experience with the parts counter depends on who you get. Overall good.
As a first time car buyer, I was so excited to purchase my first vehicle. My salesman, Kerry was absolutely wonderful as well as Charles in finance. As for the Tom the sales manager, he proceeded to raise his voice at me and say that he has 3 more degrees than me and walked away with no apology. Apologized after I told 2 people that he stormed off and never apologized. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Won’t be buying from here again but Kerry and Charles were a God-sent.

I recently had to bring my car to the shop so I made an appointment for Friday at 10am. I ended up getting my car towed because did not know what the problem was and was unsure if my car would make it to the facility. I then called to let the service department aware that my car was on the way and that the towing company would drop it off at 9am. I called about 2pm to see if they had diagnosed my car issues and to also see if my repairs needed were covered by my extended warranty. I then found out my service advisor was Leslie Whitteker. She informed me that my car had not been looked at yet but she would call me at 4 for sure to let me know what was going on with my vehicle . I did not receive a call and called back about 515pm to find out they had just put my car in the stall. She said the mechanics thought it might be the alternator and maybe the battery as well. I then asked her about a loaner car because my car had been there well before my scheduled appointment but she was just diagnosing the issue. She asked me how far I lived from Hampton and told me I needed to be on my way because they closed is 40 minutes which was 7pm. I then called her to let her know I was in route and she said they probably could have it fixed by the Saturday and I probably didnt need the loaner vehicle. Good thing I went and got the loaner because it was not ready on Saturday and she didnt follow up either. Then she calls me on Monday at 230 to let me know I needed to be there before they closed at 6 or I would be responsible for the loaner costs for another day. So I had to get off early and rush there before 6 to make it there. I have been dealing with Hampton since I purchased my vehicle in 2012 and love the service department but not pleased with this service advisor. I have never really had any major issues with my vehicle since I got it because the vehicles are great and the service department has been great in the past but this advisor was not informative what so ever and left me completely in the dark. Not happy with her AT All!!!

Excellent facilities they have and they are replacing windshield for free since it has a crack in it.

When we bought our Acadia the finance department told us we would get a free warranty with our vehicle as if we had bought it brand new from then. this turns out to be a used car warranty for 2 years and 24k miles. that is not the warranty the vehicle comes with new. they are not to be trusted and will mix words instead of be honest like real men should be with one another. they do not care about there customers so long as they can get your money.

I am a Toyota owner ( owned 4 Toyotas) and have been taking my vehicles to get serviced here for about 15 years. They are fast, friendly and top notch in my opinion. Theyll be upfront about what you need and will take no for an answer. They have free coffee and the best thing is complimentary transport to and from wherever while your vehicle is being serviced. They earned this review. In a day when the art of customer service is lost they seem to have perfected it.

Today marked the third instance over the past couple of years where the staff couldn’t seem to care less about having any business. Service option on the main menu was dumping directly to an unavailable extension’s voicemail. Called back and selected sales (who picked right up) and routed me to service scheduling, who couldn’t have been more motivated to end our call, transferring me to parts half way through the word “brakes” (of which parts were a necessary item for the service I was looking for, but she didn’t have any interest in asking what should be a very obvious question)..parts lady was helpful, but couldn’t quote service so she transferred me back. After a 3-4 four-ring intervals (that appear to require manual re-transfer of the call) the service scheduler picked up literally for the sole purpose of hanging up on me, I presume because she didn’t want to work. Fourth call of the day was a message for the manager, waiting for a call back. Problem has gotten worse over the few years I’ve been getting service there, last time I drove to Baton Rouge to avoid dealing with the disaster.
The overall experience was great. I have had terrible experiences before at dealerships this was great. From Ms. Fran, Carly, Finance person to Todd ( was great because I ask a million questions) everyone was great and helped make the experience a good one.
After searching for a car for over a month at a known used dealership, I made a drive from Ruston, LA to go to another location of the same used car franchise that just so happened to be in Lafayette. While there, I was perturbed over the prices and the year of the vehicle. I had an appointment and waited about 45 min when I finally left because I was not being seen. I had had it with that dealership. So, I decided to drive to Hampton Toyota when I met the salesman Neil. He was just an amazing person to meet! He was so patient and willing to do whatever he could to be sure I purchased the car that was meant for me. The rest of the team was friendly as well. At one point there was a misunderstanding and they quickly worked to resolve the issue to be sure I was able to leave there that night with my new vehicle. Thank you Hampton Toyota!
On a scale of 4 out of 5 I am satisfied with my recent lease experience at Hampton Toyota. I have leased 3 vehicles from Hampton and as usual received good service. The salesman Dustin Trahan was friendly, very knowlegeable and professional at all times. He articulated and listened well and at all times gave his attention to making my visit a good experience. I have nothing but praise for him.The Sales manager however did not introduce himself at any time or give me opportunity to ask questions or provide any feedback on the service I was receiving. No manager should be too busy to welcome a potential or new customer.Fortunately the salesman addressed my concerns so I had a steady representative at hand. As stated above He was friendly and professional at all times.There was however one moment I got a bit irritated that could have changed the course of the whole experience.When the initial offer was made for my trade-in I felt it was very low. I have been offered as much as $21,000 on trade in by 2 other dealers. I brought this to the attention of Dustin and he immediately went to some manager at the front desk for an answer. When he returned he indicated that my trade had a cracked windshield and 3 small scratches on the right rear fender that lowered the value of the car. Obviously I new about the damages and before coming to Hampton had the repairs appraised at another dealerships body shop for $800.00 to repair. Also I had wear care insurance with the dealer of my trade-in vehicle and was told that the repairs would have cost me nothing had I traded with Ford.However, I was not trading with Ford and so I did not challenge Dustin as I knew that he was right that the defects would lower the value of the car and cost Toyota to repair. The thing I did not understand however was how $21,000-$800.00 reduces the value of the trade-in to $17,500! Due to the high cost of used cars in todays market Hampton will sell this car for a very nice profit.(At that moment the sales manager or another manager at the front desk should have come to the table to ask how things are going.) As stated above he did not.I did not express the degree of my irritation with management to Dustin. I seriously thought about leaving, getting the repairs made to the trade-in and come back to Hampton on another day to see what I could be given on a trade. But I didn’t due to the concern that the Toyota on the lot might be sold before I could return and I did not want to continue my search for another vehicle. Due to my current lease coming due in a few days I stayed and accepted the idea that I might have to overpay. I felt like there would be some discount given by Hampton due to the fact that I am a 3-peat customer. Consequently, I planned to wait and see what the final offer would be on the Toyota.To make a longer story short I will stop my complaining and say that the quality of Toyota vehicles and the history of good service in the service department at Hampton made the car leasing experience less painful. I am aware that everybody, everywhere in the car industry has been facing extreme, unordinary stresses due to COVID and the chip shortages.I will recommend friends to Hampton. I will most definitely recommend Dustin. I look forward to driving my Toyota for the next 3 years.

Awful experience. They damaged my car tire and forced me to buy a new one. Thanks to their poor service, I was without a car for ~5 days.Context -I brought my car in for servicing. They said that one of the tires had a small puncture that they would fix when I bring it back the next day.Tire functioned just fine when I drove my car later that day.Next day, they look at my car and say that it has more than one puncture and new tires needed.With an upcoming trip, I did not have much time and I had to order a tire from their parts department.It was expected to arrive in one day and ended up taking several days and they ended up giving me a rental car.The rep (Steven) that I was working with did not give me timely response on status of new tire.To make it worse, many individuals recklessly walked around with no mask in and around the office.I absolutely understand that its very difficult to keep wearing it all the time but at least when ones face to face with a customer, he/she is expected to either wear a mask or keep social distance.

Last weekend, my Lexus ES 350 was towed to Hampton. This week, the advisor, Byron, that handled my vehicles case was kind and informative throughout the process.BUT, this morning, upon arriving to pick up, and pay for services, Byron told me they also completed an oil change due to oil leaking f/m changing of spark plugs??? Immediately, I asked why I wasnt contacted/consulted with regarding this additional service. The only response was Im sorry??? Unacceptable!Looking over my invoice, he also lied, stating the customer requested an oil change. Unbelievable! I was notified about the oil change when I came to pick up the vehicle. Ridiculous!!!A. I’m a Chevy girl but I decided to check out the Toyota Tundra after reading good reviews about it. When I called the dealership I specifically asked for an experienced salesman. Chance was friendly, professional and asked pertinent questions regarding my needs in purchasing a new truck. He did nothing to pressure me and I could tell his interest was in trying to get me in the vehicle that was best for me. Great salesman!!Oh and I LOVED the Tundra! I’ve test driven Fords, GMC’s and I always prefer my Chevy however the Tundra was definitely easiest to drive. Even easier than my Chevy. I loved how high up it sat, I could see very well which is an issue for me in trucks bc I’m only 5’3”. Ultimately it was just too expensive but I will definitely keep the Tundra in mind for my next vehicle purchase.
Bought my most recent car here. The process itself took way longer than it should have at around 5 hours despite having my own financing in order to avoid dealing with spending all day at a dealership. On top of that the vehicle was filthy upon my arrival (Brand new) despite letting them know a couple days in advance I would be coming to pick it up. Happy with my purchase but this dealership itself needs a bit more work as far as efficiency goes.
I’ve never left a review on any place in my life but I feel obligated to do so after my experience. I’ll never do business here again.
The only reason I’m giving one star is due to our salesman, Foerster being super friendly and helpful. The actual deal we got was unfair..a low trade, no wiggle room on sales price and a high APR. They explained that with supply and demand right now, there’s a shortage of vehicles and because they don’t have to deal, they didn’t ($$$). Economics for sure, but not fair to the customer. They asked us to sign a paper that said if our trade allowance was honored, that we promised to buy the vehicle.It was strange and something I’ve never seen before so we asked to speak to the general sales manager. She was condescending and not helpful whatsoever. We ended up accepting an unfair trade because we wanted the vehicle on the lot. Wouldn’t go back bc of her. *updated to reflect that we weren’t offered the military incentive

Great services. They didnt make up needs. They only serviced me on what I needed. Nothing extra. They also have a nest text feature that lets you know when your car is ready from services. I liked that. 10o% Satisfied 😁❤👍🏽
If you are in the market for a new Toyota, I recommend you stop in at Hampton and visit with Donnie Davis...who was very patient and polite. I live in Houston but am originally from Lafayette and my parents still live here. Donnie and team were able to find me the Highlander that I was looking for and the final price still came in under what several dealerships in Houston were quoting for the same vehicle. Really glad I ended up giving my business to Hampton since I believe they were the best choice price-wise, service-wise. and have been part of the Lafayette community for years.

(Repost from my mother)My son purchased a 2021 4x4 Tacoma on 3/1. On 3/9 he gets a text from the salesman stating there was a system glitch and it was the wrong truck and to make right he would have to pay $520 month for 72 months rather than $480, an almost $3,000 difference. By this time, he had taken the truck home, put insurance on the truck, removed running boards etc from the truck. And even took the truck back to dealer because the engine light came on. He was placed in rental and left for work for 2 weeks. After multiple attempts were made to settle the matter and have them honor their mistake (which I was told a misunderstanding), they have only come back multiple times to increase the price by $2,400 and now by $3,600. I spoke to the salesman, Elijah and also the financial manager Kyle without anything to offer except refinance options to pay the difference in the mistake they made. The general sales manager, Jami Cormier, made comments multiple times that it was Cameron’s fault as he had signed the contract, but the salesman and the finance officer who were there during the whole situation never took responsibility for the mistake. While Cameron was away at work and did not have any means to contact them, me and my husband were advocates for him. We tried everything and anything to get them to honor the contract they had signed and only to get the price increased each time. It was even said that the salesman was new andWell this was Cameron’s first vehicle purchase and it has been a nightmare. He will return from work on Thursday to go pick up his Deposit and his car that they had taken on trade. By the way, they took his car, that was not even on his name, and sent home an act of donation paper to be filled out by his dad and to bring back with the title. I am truly very disappointed in Hampton and everyone involved in the purchase. I have asked to speak to someone higher up and was told by Jami that they didn’t need to be involved and that she was not going to lose her job over $2,400 that actually has now increased to $3,600. This was after she said the finance person made another mistake. I could go on and on about how this could of been handled better but HAMPTON obviously does not care. They sent him home in a vehicle and now he will hopefully get all he put into the deal back and not mess up his credit to purchase another FIRST vehicle. This is not over as we will seek legal advice and counsel on this matter.
I wish to leave a very strong positive feedback for Mr Oneil Granger. He took great time and efforts to take care for my Toyota Care. He was successfully able to get approved a one time courtesy maintennance repair for my Toyota car, after my Toyota care had expired recently a month ago. I appreciate his patience and efforts after this. I wish he should receive recognition for this and it should be helpful for his career ahead. I am sure he has a bright future ahead ! Thanks..
Bought my Prius from these fine folks. My experiences with their service personnel have been impeccable. Service and communication are excellent, and I gotta make a special call-out: *everyone* on staff have *always* exhibited remarkable courtesy at all times. This tight ship earns my loyalty.
