I have a so many great things to say about my experience with Budget Glass. First off, they are great communicators, very responsive and friendly. Talked through the process and helped me pick out the right glass solution for our steam shower bath. The installation was a breeze, they were considerate and did A+ work. The glass door looked AMAZING!After install, they asked me to test out the steam shower and get back to them if it isnt holding steam as much as Id like and they would come back out and add some additional seals. I couldnt believe they would suggest this - wow customer oriented! I mean the glass doors looked amazing, I was already thrilled and they were willing to do even more to get it perfect after the fact!?After using the steam shower a couple times, I did feel like maybe it could use a little more sealing. I called back and they were so nice! It seemed like it was no hassle for them (which I know it was). They treated me as though I was a new customer. When they already had my business - and had been paid! I was absolutely floored by this! They ordered the parts and came back out to do the install at no extra charge. Unheard of.Its rare in construction/remodeling work to get the level of professionalism and true care that I received from Budget Glass.I dont have any more glass needs at the moment, but when I do - no doubt they will be my ONE and ONLY call. I will be sharing to anyone and everyone that asks about any glass work. Dont need to look elsewhere!

I want to preface this by acknowledging that supply chains are backlogged right now and I cant hold that against any company. On the positive side, when we finally had our glass installed, everything was fine. However, a lack of communication to the degree we faced with Budget is not acceptable in any professional endeavour. We did not end up getting our windows in until over a month after the close of our quoted completion date (7-14 days), which significantly hurt our ability to sell our home, and our overall experience with Budget was nothing short of disastrous. As for the details, we had the glue melt in our window trim in a few of the windows in our home. Prior to putting it on the market, we got an estimate from Budget, placed an order, and scheduled our home to go on the market a few days after their latest schedule date in the provided window. After we were nearly a week past the end of the quoted window, we called Budget, from whom wed heard nothing, and were told that they meant 7-14 business days. This framing is odd enough given business days are typically quoted in multiple of five, but the bigger irony in this correction is that we were also still outside of that window as well, even though Budget seemed to want to put their error on our math until my husband walked them through it. They told us theyd check with the manufacturer and get back to us later that day.Two days later with no response, we called them back to learn it would be another five days. Those five days past and we called again and were told it would be tomorrow or the next day. We finally got a call a few days later that the windows had arrived and were broken and would need to be reordered, which would take two more days. Nearly a week after that, the new windows came in (at this point, we were dealing with the installation crew who were significantly more communicative). The crew brought them to our home and found the manufacturer had sent one of the windows in the wrong size. We called the main office to get a timeline on the new install and were told another two days. We then were contacted by the owner, who offered us $100 off (less than 10% of the order total) and apologized and promised us the new window was on rush order. Nearly another week later, we finally got our last window installed. In the end, we did not have the windows in until over a month after that date It came up in several realtor feedback notes but, given how often we were told tomorrow or two more days by Budget, we were hesitant to pull the listing. The overall lack of communication, inability to manage their manufacturers, and general abdication of responsibility for the issues was unacceptable in any professional transaction. While I hope this was an atypical interaction, based on our experience, I would not recommend using this company for any reason.

Sadly, after explaining on the phone that I know nothing about glass, the lady who answered the phone became annoyed when I asked simple questions. Apparently I was a huge inconvenience in her day.

Charlie and everyone there that I had interaction with were extremely helpful. They showed up on time to measure, my custom glass came in quickly, and the install went very smoothly. I want to go anywhere else for my future projects.

I have had nothing but positive, friendly and helpful service from Charlie and Vanessa. This is a great, local shop that goes the extra mile. Thank you Budget Glass! P.S. They also do screen repair.

I was I charge of managing a property in Lafayette that had had some glass ordered from budget-glass roughly 6-8 months ago. I called them and asked them if they had any knowledge of this. they spent a lot of time looking for the order even though the information I gave them was very vague. they found the glass - installed it without question - and didnt charge me anything even though the invoice had been misplaced at some point. had glass done in an afternoon and I was able to reinstall the panes with no issues. great local company!

Made my first order through Budget Glass today. Replacing a sliding door in an investment property. Not only was there estimate lower than a big box store, the product will be higher quality. Love supporting a local, family owned, small business who seems honored to serve their customers.

Charlie is the owner, his guys measured and installed a shower glass for us. Reading the other reviews, my experience was nothing like the negative posts. They showed up on time for both appointments and were flexible scheduling to accommodate when I could be home (both times), and definitely did not feel ripped off. I compared quotes from DGI, horizon, and budget and budget was least expensive @ $1550 vs $2k plus. And $2k was for metal framed glass ~ European style without metal frame (what budget put in) was even more. I will use them again and will/would recommend. Thanks budget!

Made an appointment a week in advance to have my windows measured. They gave me a window of between three and five, I had to take two hours off work to make their window and they never showed up. I received a call a little after five saying that their crew was stuck in Boulder and he had a feeling this was going to happen. Well if you had a feeling that this would happen perhaps a phone call to cancel or reschedule our appointment would have been the professional thing to do. Not wait until the appointment had come and gone then call me and make excuses. Dont waste your time with this company. And if you do make an appointment with them be prepared for them to not possibly show up.

Was doing a complete remodel of a master bath. Needed a custom shower door, with a notched fixed panel. Overall 6ft wide etc. Also needed a 8ft x 4ft etched glass room divider to enclose the toilet room. I went to three large glass stores before I got a quote from Budget glass. Not only was their quote substantially less, but everyone I spoke with was incredibly helpful. When I was doing all the rough in I asked of they could come over, and make sure I hadnt missed anything, like proper backing etc. They had great ideas and I even changed the project based on their ideas. My advice....call everyone else first, then call budget glass, trust me...you will end up going with them!!

Used them 3 years ago to replace 4 windows. Been trying to get one replaced, with them for going on 4 months now. Never again. One local business we will no longer support, ever.(Edit) from 1-3After calling in to cancel the window, the owner answered and explained to me that they had suffed the loss of a long time staff memeber and that strained the business/remaining staff. I do t believe everything I hear nor do I dismiss it all either. Not as happy as I was the first time but, two days after our talk the window is finally inI guess they might another shot.
