The food is really good but there has been a couple of times that I have ordered and when I got home with my food my food was wrong you order mild and it comes back as hot I just ordered my daughter a bean burrito and they put hot sauce in it when I didnt want it

Authentic and friendly service. I come here for the carne asada. Arachera. They add a marinade for me that makes for great tacos! They also have fresh produce, queso fresco, tortillas made daily.

Great place but only thing I would suggest is having someone who speaks some English at the taco stand and answering the phone taking to go orders. I speak some Spanish but definitely am not fluent. I would prefer there be someone there who does know some English so their isnt a language barrier considering 98% of the customers are English speaking.

This little cart on the south side of El Mercado makes the best burritos in town. I say better than Santiagos even. They are not fast, but I suspect that is what makes them so delicious. The cart is well kept and shiny, drinks are served out of coolers in front of the cart. The people are friendly but often so busy at lunch time they cannot spare a moment even to take orders. Calling in seems to be the best way to get your tasty food from this place. Eat up!

This place is a hidden gem when you need ingredients for cooking your next taco night. I highly recommend getting the asada with marinade

Oh how I love the taco wagon. Definitely one of the top breakfast burritos you can get in any area. Make sure you try the breakfast is Asada with hot chili.

The carne asada Taco plate at the taco truck are absolutely the best as someone who grew up in Southern New Mexico went into West Texas and raised by a real Mexican I feel I am somewhat of an expert I can honestly say kind of saw the taco plate is the best Mexican food around

Fantastic smothered burritos, the hot green chili is just hot enough! It can get really busy during lunch rush and take a while if there is a line, but its worth the wait.

As mentioned by other reviews, the food at the Taco Wagon is excellent, but isnt always the fastest. Ive still never had more than a few minute wait, which is fine, but then I dont tend to go at the height of the lunch-time rush.Great food, and excellent prices. A basic bean+cheese+green chile burrito can be had for $2+tax (as of May 2013).

Good breakfast burritos.

I used to frequent the Taco Wagon as well as the grocery store. I was in town and stopped by for burritos and greean chili. I ordered burritos first and I was saddened that the green chili in them just was not the same. I would of gave 5 stars a year ago.

Great Carne Asada burrito#

Went to the Taco Wagon on the south side of the store for the first time today - it wont be the last! 3 carne asada tacos for four bucks, and they were a little piece of heaven. So glad to find such great tacos so close to home... cant wait to go back again - Im going to try the carnitas next time!
