Thank you so much eats and sweets for my baby boy’s first birthday cake. It was exactly how I wanted. Lovely colors and taste. The only thing I guess I did was that I put the fresh cake in the fridge because he went to take a nap 😆 and icing was made of butter cream so it was bit hard to cut. Cookies and cake had lovely taste. I’m gonna freeze rest of it.

Sweets are realllly good but also the lentil/ veggie soup was exceptional.Great little spot!!

3/27/21 - Napkins Score: 5/5 - so many choices! I opted for the Vegan Caramel Carrot Cake ice cream. It was super creamy and dreamy just like I expected it to be. I think I counted at least 6 different vegan flavors, so treat yourself! Im visiting from Ohio and was very pleased with the selection. They have dairy based ice creams and plenty of baked goods. I even saw gluten free cookies.

We love eating here. They have a make your own sandwich option, which I love. They also have a good variety of vegan ice cream and other vegan goodies!

Home of the unique banana bread ice cream sandwich.Parking is tight, be prepared to walk. I promise it is worth it. Clean restrooms with baby changing station. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff, willing and able to answer questions. We met the owner--nice guy.I enjoyed a delicious veggie and cheese custom made sandwich both times I visited. The first time I had the bread of the day, and the second time I enjoyed the wheat baguette. Take it to go, eat in--no matter which you choose, youre sure to have a tasty and filling meal.

A nice little find in the heart of Old Town Lafayette for desserts, pastries, ice cream and other sweets. Seemed very family friendly. Went here on a Saturday evening around 600pm and the place was pretty much empty; service was pretty prompt. The store has several flavors of vegan ice cream, which is not something Ive seen at other stores. Ample tables and seats Prices are reasonable. No dedicated parking, so youd have to find some street parking.

Often rude service and mediocre food. They have a great location and theme but seem to be faltering. Tried to get an ice cream sandwich and the middle age guy quizzed me for ten minutes about their stickers, OTLC. They could try so much harder. Also the paint looks a bit dated, wish they could spruce up the place

I got a cup of cookie dough ice cream and my husband a cookies and cream milkshake.The cookie dough ice cream had 1 piece of cookie dough which was disappointing, but the vanilla ice cream portion was pretty good.The milkshake was really really thin (maybe not enough ice cream in it?) so was also not great.Maybe try some of the other things for a better experience?

You should try their banana split, or their signature ice cream sandwich, on banana bread. They even have a vegan banana bread icecream, which is awesome on banana split, or all on its own. This was the 1st reason, why i keep going back.

Fun and friendly staff and generously offered flavor samples. Great little gazebo and seating next to the shop where kids can run off the energy after a cone.

Amazing!My family and friends have been coming here for years, and we do not live near.Banana bread ice cream sandwich is my favorite and they have many gluten free and or vegan ice creams that will satisfy any ice cream lover. My daughters love the banana split!! Sooo good!!Staff is ALWAYS friendly and there is nothing bad to say here.(And now moms and dads can have a beer or canned wine hehe!)

Everything you’ll try here is fantastic. I spent a good amount of time trying different things here and have not once been disappointed. The sandwiches are really good too! Don’t skip on em. Service has been really great sometimes but could really be improved others. Still 5 stars cause it’s that good.

We hired Eats & Sweets for our wedding and they did absolutely amazing! All of our guests kept talking about how amazing their ice cream was. They were responsive while helping us set up the ice cream truck and was even able to accommodate and track down my favorite ice cream flavor a couple days before the wedding.

The lady serving us ice cream was not friendly, didnt listen to me when i told her the flavors we wanted. I was going to order a sandwich but the vibe I got from her was so rude i will never try this spit again. And sad because it was our first time. Also the food truck outside makes it really hard to leave when its busy and you cant see the on coming cars.

Theres ok employees not too friendly food is ok but theres a nice water park nearby next to the building

The banana bread ice cream sandwich is really quite a treat, especially with pralines and cream ice cream. And its a generous sized ice cream sandwich so its easy to share. Love how late they stay open and the variety of food items they offer. Limited seating inside due to COVID. Service was great, food was fabulous, and the bathroom was clean.

Had some espresso chocolate chip ice cream, it was very good!

We adore this shop and are frequent flyers for sure! The food is great, and the special diet offerings cannot be beat. The staff and owners are lovely people, and after just a few visits they’ve always remembered our names.I’d never give less than five stars for this place, but would like to provide a little feedback on the sandwiches- not the taste... don’t touch that! It’s the construction. The items are always cut too thick and too large so that the sandwich falls apart and is really difficult to handle. My son has special needs and some motor planning problems, and although he’s a teenager I have to basically feed it to him or cut it up so he can use a fork. Today’s sandwiches were almost a dealbreaker for us. They gave us 10 napkins and we needed more!Hopefully this can be considered by the sandwich makers. Veggies in particular are much easier to eat in a sandwich if they’re chopped small.Thanks, Eats and Sweets! We do love you.

Best neighborhood sandwich shop in Old Town Lafayette. Owner & staff are as GREAT as the food ! Desserts are locally made w the best gf cheesecake you didn’t have to make yourself.Open late enough to grab dessert at outside sliding window w enough room to socially distance & enjoy outside in large public space.

I love their selection of desserts, however the savory menu and my last experience was somewhat questionable. First, the service was very slow and the person taking care of us was seemed unexcited. When we received our orders, they were switched, which was ok because we figured it out. The sandwich was not what I expected, as the roast beef was very thick and tough to eat. Also when eating my cheesecake, I found a strip of plastic that I assume came from butter or another product.Besides this, I would recommend Eats and Sweets for their amazing dessert options, but I would avoid the savory menu.

I give 5 stars because everyone was nice and this place is good. However, I ordered a sandwich and I can’t eat mayonnaise. I stated no mayonnaise when I ordered and asked for extra lettuce. There is mayonnaise on my sandwich and there is barely any lettuce. Not super excited.

Bobby and the crew at Eats n Sweets are fantastic. There was date mixup with my order, and they went above and beyond to correct it. The staff are always friendly and they have tasty sweets. My husband and I are now lifelong customers.

Excellent ice cream selection, and we were both surprised and impressed to find gluten free goodies, which were quite tasty. Location and exterior are charming. Interior is a little cramped and run-down. But overall, a nice spot for a sweet treat!

I special ordered a GF/DF pie for Thanksgiving, and it was delicious and competitively priced.

Great variety of ingredients for build-your-own sandwiches, including many organic, vegan, and gluten-free options. Lots of excellent plant-based ice cream flavors available, and some killer desserts. Fun and casual atmosphere. Great alternative for fast food.

First time visit. Ordered a salad and it was difficult to choose a dressing as I didn’t like any listed. What happened to French or Poppyseed or Italian? Picked up salad and headed to a local park to enjoy. No fork or napkin was included. Great! Salad was not very good and was not worth the price. I will try something different next time.

Eats and Sweets is a home-grown, home-town, dont miss spot in old town Lafayette. Great sandwiches, great baked goods/treats and ice cream. Maybe not fancy, but this is where the locals get a sandwich, a scoop, maybe a beer and bump into friends and neighbors. Oh and Ive probably ordered a dozen cakes, cupcakes or other baked goods and always been pleased.

OK - heres the problem - I had one cupcake.But it was so moist, the cake was like two really good cupcakes. The icing was so incredibly tasty and thick - again it was like two cupcakes worth.So come to this delightful, locals favorite and enjoy the value of getting more then you expect. TOTALLY WORTH IT.

A great little local shop that has more to offer than you would expect. Try the banana bread ice cream sandwich. You can put any ice cream flavor they have available in it. They serve beer now, and the soups are delicious.

Among many other in-house baked goods (cupcakes, cookies cheesecake, both regular and gluten free), they have the best individual sized fresh fruit pies with a handmade crust. Today they had pear, peach and blueberry. Ask them to warm yours up, then add a scoop of their ice cream on the side. Divine!

Pretty good sandwich and soup for lunch, but it took a really long time and was pretty expensive. Their ice cream flavors looked interesting though so Ill have to try those next time.

The food, cooked on demand, was delicious. Service was courteous if not super prompt (this isnt fast food, exactly, but the ingredients are very fresh.) Try the pie. Feeling really adventurous? Try an unusual ice cream. Cherry basil was a delightful surprise, dont knock it until you try it!

Food was good service was good, but they gave us our food in compostable containers but did not provide a compost bin to place them in.

I absolutely love this place. If you are visiting Colorado you need to eat here. The soup and ice cream is amazing. This place is tilted though which is strange but it is still a must go to place for everyone. I recommend lunch or after work just getting a treat. This food is AMAZING.

The QR code wasnt updated to reflect their location-So I wasnt sure if I was ordering from the right truck. I ordered my food and received it a few minutes later. The menu said each order of pulled pork sliders came with 3 sliders. I ordered 2 orders...so 3x2=6...but we were only brought 4. We also ordered Chips and queso. The queso was supposed to be warm, but was very luke-warm and cold, also, the queso had red onions on it...it wasnt a big deal, the other people I was with are fine with them, but I do not like them. If I had known that there was red onions (not indicated on the menu) I would have asked them to leave them off. The Sliders were good, but also coldI replied to the email receipt letting them know of these errors, but as of today (About 24 hours later), there hasnt been any response. I would have gone to the truck to let them know, but there was one guy working and had a decently long line, and it was raining. The establishment I was at also had the door locked from the outside with a host opening and closing the door every few minutes (covid-19 restrictions) so I would have to wait a couple minutes in the rain, and wait a couple of minutes to get back in. I had already been up and down several times, so I didnt want to deal with it anymore, and just chose to enjoy the 4/6 sliders I purchased.

Excellent small-town style ice cream and sandwich shop. I have not been disappointed with anything Ive tried on their extensive sweets list, and their sandwiches are also great - and made to order. Seating is a bit tight inside, but there is plenty of room outside on a nice day. Its location in Old Town Lafayette makes it a great stop for those exploring the rest of the area. They also have a loyalty program for frequent fliers.

Always good sandwiches and baked goods (love the mini pies!) and friendly service, serving our local community. Oh, and of course the ice cream.

I bought a peach milkshake this past weekend during the Peach Festival. This rating is largely rooted in that but also poor customer service. To be frank, the milkshake was disgusting. There was no hint of peach flavor; in fact the flavor/taste was unrecognizable. I would have returned it but the line was too long. Also the service left much to be desired. I understand that this was a hectic day given the crowd size; however, service should never be compromised. The servers were unfriendly. My shake did not have whipped cream on it as requested. When I reminded the server he seemed agitated and they ran out of cup lids. Very disappointing experience.

Okay, this small bakery is fantastic. They make ALL there baked goods from cupcakes, cookies, fruit and cream pies.. Their menu is small but fresh. They serve lunch too. Dont expect fancy coffee, but the food is what matters here. Will go again.

Quick and delicious sandwiches and ice cream.

We were really looking forward to the sandwiches, and ordered through Door Dash. Unfortunately two of the four sandwiches ordered had mayo when the special instructions specifically said no mayo due to food allergies and had to order food from another restaurant to replace the mistakenly made items.

The sandwiches are well made. The Cuban is my personal favorite. They have a good selection of icecream that they often rotate, so you can get something new virtually everytime! I would recommend!

Our experience was at the Eats and Sweets food truck. The individual running the truck was extremely rude. After giving us a hard time for asking for no cucumbers on our sandwich he piled more cucumbers on it than there was anything else which came off as a “screw you”. Maybe it was a simple mistake but his attitude towards my extremely sweet Mother from start to finish was horrible and we will not be supporting this company.

The banana bread ice cream sandwich will in fact save your life. Also, how do they make the giant cookies so perfectly crisp and perfectly ooey gooey at the same time?? It’s sorcery.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I dont want to cause them any mere trouble than necessary, so I wont describe my experience in detail. Ill only say that the level of customer service I received was so far above the norm that I was blown away. And the gluten free cake was excellent! Theres no reason to buy your sweets anywhere else.

The apple dumpling with ice cream was yummy! Crust was slightly crispy and the filling not too sweet. Excellent service!

Great little sweet shop and cafe. Desserts are delicious and I happened upon the shop during the peach festival. The peach pie was amazing and the service was top notch.

Staff was not helpful to doordash employees, there is not a good system for working with doordash so you have to wait 45 minutes in line for 2 sandwiches. As a doordash employee I dont get paid hourly I get paid by each run so I cant afford to wait for almost an hour and have the staff ignore me when I try to ask for help
