I experienced car problems on the last leg of a road trip from San Francisco to San Clemente — stressful. I received a referral to Quality Motors and reached Brian Sanders, who was amazing from the time he picked up the phone, to talking through the issues and price points, to delivering my car back on time. In fact, I ran late in picking up my car — and Brian was still in good spirits when I showed up. Not only that, my car had been washed. A big thank you to Brian and the team for being so terrific. Great service, very professional. My sons BMW 128i was in need of service and I had been thinking about leaving the dealer for a competent shop near my house. I had been receiving their introductory service offer cards in the mail and thought I would give it a try. My advisor Brian went over all the service needed and made recommendations on what was urgent and what was not. My experience with Quality Motors was exceptional. John was knowledgeable, honest, and personable. The initial quote I received was over $150 less than quoted from a local Mercedes dealership and Quality Motors’ quote included labor and taxes. The repair was performed ahead of schedule and they even took my car to the car wash for a full service wash; she was returned to me looking and performing better than when I dropped her off. Ive taken a couple of my cars here and felt comfortable that they are trustworthy and capable. Im a car guy and have a lot of knowledge of vehicles, everything theyve said to be an issue with my vehicle has made sense to me and they back it up with photo documentation. I like having a place i can trust to drop off my vehicles.

Quality motors did a complimentary diagnostic testing in my 2016 Audi because another mechanic told me to replace my rotors abs I didn’t think that needed to be done. Quality motors found a few things that needed repair but NOT MY ROTORS! I appreciate their upfront attitude and honesty. Brian who I was in contact with was friendly and took the time to explain everything to me. I didn’t end up fixing any of the minor things they found wrong but I will soon. There was no pressure to perform the service immediately and the diagnostic was free. I look forward to getting my vehicle repairs with them in the future.

I have two MINIs. About a month ago, I brought my first one in for an oil change at Irvine MINI. While it was being serviced, a vendor truck smashed into it and wrecked the front. MINI barely communicated with me, disowned all responsibility and told me it was my issue to deal with. Because of this, I had to put my second MINI back in action and was terrified to find that it was also due for a service. I asked my boyfriend if he knew of anywhere else I could go and he recommended Quality Motors. Great experience from the initial phone call to completion of service. Drop off was easy - parked and dropped my key off in the mail slot. A couple hours later, I received an email with a thorough assessment of my car and pictures showing me what needed to be fixed. They followed that up with a phone call to discuss the service and to get my okay to proceed. They were also really honest about where I could get tires for a cheaper price - that really impressed me. I was kept updated about the status of my car through text. Pickup was easy and the car was in great shape. This was the complete opposite of my bad experience at Irvine MINI. Quality Motors had GREAT constant communication, courteous staff, excellent customer service. I feel that they are completely trustworthy. I can now rest easy about servicing my car. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

I discovered them recently and brought my 2016 330e to Quality Motors for the first time last week and have been quite impressed by their customer service, quality of work and reasonable prices compared to the dealers.

Followed an ad on indeed.com which led to an interview set up by Jasmine where a man named Larry gave me the run around and eventually tried selling me car cleaning products for Caretta. Had fake office noises and everything (example: fax and phones ringing on repeat).Be careful entering this building as the man was very manipulative! Dont let him buff your car either. Very suspicious business being run here. Entertaining if youre wise enough not to buy in to the products.

Incredible service & QUALITY work. I have never received the kind of professionalism, communication and attention to detail from a car repair shop ever - anywhere. Benjamin picked up our 2007 Chevy Tahoe from LA in the evening, replacing it with a free loaner. By morning, he had a DETAILED report of the car, with pictures, description of recommended service (or what we could wait on - thank you!), which he then called to walk us through. We were able to discuss priorities for our budget with someone we trusted. The turn around for the repairs was fast and we are so happy with the work done. It came back shiny and new! What a great experience. Not to mention fair pricing to get the job done correctly. We will never take any of our cars anywhere else. Thank you Quality Motors!

I love Quality Motors because their honest, trustworthy, experienced, & I been going to them for years ! When I brought a new car at Lexus in 2017 I brought it to the car dealership for service thinking they know how to take care of there own brand! Wrong! I don’t mind paying for good service but hate being ripped off for things that didn’t need fixing or replaced! Saw some reviews for this business on line. I called and talked to Brian. He was very helpful and very profesional. I made an appointment for an oil change on my Mini Cooper. Service was very good and very detailed and profesional. I think its a little bit on the expensive side. I país over $200 for an oil change and an air filter.

My parents have been using Mike and his excellent shop for over 20 years for their BMWs. Having moved back to the area, I figured our Honda Odyssey was too low brow for this gem... I was wrong. I called to get their recommendation for a repair shop to deal with our minivan and Ben reassured me that they can take care of our car and boy oh boy did they!!!! This shop has been a real find for us! We have an older M3 thats needed some work. We love how Ben Amen and the team there make it easy- Not just the pick-up, delivery, loner cars. But also they thoroughly document (incl. photos) what needs to be done and what it looks like during and after. We never feel like we’re being talked into unnecessary repairs, but also feel confident they’re doing the maintenance essential to sustaining the vehicle long-term. It feels good to do business with a shop whose knowledge, skill and integrity we can trust. We really wanted an equally good relationship to take care of our Subaru Forester, and were so happy to hear that Quality Motors could take that on too. We live in San Diego, and, amazingly, it is worth the distance between us to use these guys. They make it work. Respect!

I recently used Quality Motors for service on my BMW X3. The main reason for the appt was to get an oil change but it had been a while since the car had been checked out so they did that as well. I relocated to the area within the last year and, between being busy with the move and working from home due to COVID, my car had not been on the top of the priority list. The fact that I did not have a go-to place probably added to the inertia. I appreciated everything about the appointment. They took my car on time, shuttled me home and brought me back, communicated throughout the process, sent detailed pics of the issues so I could make informed decisions and were reasonably priced. I have found my go-to place for service!

They will repair any make, model or year.To be exact, in our case we heard some strange sounds, seemed like something with the back; there was a roaring noise heard during acceleration.This was diagnosed and the possible sources were discussed with me.After the leak was found in the exhaust manifold, the source of that and the remedies were also discussed.Meanwhile all things that are in good shape are also reported.The final outcome is complete understanding and satisfaction for both the car owner and the technician because there is no misunderstanding.Nothing like shopping with full satisfaction and trust!!

These guys at Quality Motors are the only people I trust with our vehicles. They are fairly priced, honest, knowledgeable and have a great facility. I brought my MBZ in because of a brake warning light. I was driven home in their courtesy shuttle and after an hour they called me with the diagnostic. I approved the work which was fixed promptly. Upon completion they found additional problems but Brian said hed call the MBZ Dealer and see if it was covered. Now mind you my car is a 2005 e500 with 80,000 miles. So I thought that there was no way it would be covered. Sure enough it was covered 100% at no cost to me. The guys at Quality Motors saved me $4,700 dollars. Who does that? No one Ive ever dealt with or heard of.

If you own (not lease) a BMW of any model year, you need Quality Motors to be your mechanic. They will take care of you and make sure your BMW ages gracefully. In the era of turn and burn leased vehicles where the dealer only performs the minimum amount of maintenance during warranty, it is imperative to have a trustworthy mechanic to monitor your BMW as the mileage progresses. I suspect Ive been servicing my BMW with Quality Motors for the past 7-8 years, and last year they suggested I consider buying a newer X1 BMW from them rather than spend $7000 for a number of repairs I needed on my old X3. Was referred to Quality Motors by Shadetree Auto to service my Mercedes SLK 250 since i just moved to San Clemente. I called, made an appointment with Chris at Quality for the following week after telling hm I needed a loaner. I went in at the end of the day, was given key to loaner and was out the door with my elderly mother in tow. They even helped her into the car since she moves slowly...very slowly. By early the next morning I had a full written inspection report in my email with photos of what needed attention...brakes, filter, fluids etc. I called and gave them the go ahead and picked up my sparkling clean car at 4pm that day. IN OUT DONE! True professional, no nonsense operation. Will definitely be my go to for all car needs. Thank you!!

What has always been most appealing is the reliability of the quality of care and there are never service tasks charged that were not required...no padding of the service to raise the costs; only what is needed. WOMEN BEWARE!!! I had been going to this mechanic for YEARS. After the economy shifted well so did they...shifty to say the least. First they told me that my oil changes should be every 3000 miles. Only to find out after taking it to my new mechanic (Sun Automotive Ask for Moe the most trustworthy guy you will ever meet.) He explains to me that with the oil they used they should have told me every 6000 miles~! Strike one. Last work I had done with Quality did not last longer than a few months and almost left me stranded on the freeway. They had to replace the part for no charge. Strike two. And the icing on the cake just last week. My battery died and when Moe went to replace it he discovered that they had cut corners and put in a battery half the size that my car (a BMW) requires but charged me for the larger one. Strike three! My car has more power just because the battery is now correct. To say Im disgusted with Quality motors is an understatement. I am having more work done this week and the charges are HALF of what Quality would have charged me for sub par work. All I can say to the owner is The cheap comes out expensive. Youve lost a long time client for good. Shame on you....
