I had a wonderful experience buying from Manton. Trevor helped me, and I almost feel just the technical advice was worth the price, let alone the value in the pushrods. They were pretty much same price as off the shelf yet hand made to my exact specifications. He knew enough I would think they could have specd them for me had I had a more generic setup. My build was pretty custom though, yet Trevor knew exactly how to build the pushrods for it. Its a LQ9 short block w/ 317 heads, custom ground cam, and 2116LSR short throw lifters. The short throw lifters threw everybody else for a curve. The guy who ground my cam, the machine shop that did my balancing and head work, nobody knew how to set them up. Trevor knew immediately. He spent a good 30 or 40 minutes with me on the phone answering my every question. Their turn time was lightening fast. I placed the order and the next morning the pushrods were mailed! The next day I had the pushrods! They are beautifully crafted. So much so I had a hard time throwing them in the motor as Ill never see them again haha. They almost need to stain them with paint or something to make them ugly or give an extra pushrod to show off in the shop! All kidding aside, after this experience, I dont know why ANYBODY would buy off the shelf pushrods. American made, with pride, unsurpassed quality, and value. Thanks again for the awesome experience!
