I’ve used CVS my whole life and recently transferred my prescriptions to this location. Worst experience of my life. There are no words to express how poor their customer service is. The line is always ridiculously long, the staff is rude and don’t even bother trying to call you will be put on hold for almost 45 mins. I transferred all my prescriptions to Amazon Pharmacy and I definitely recommend them. They made the transition easy and I didn’t even have to wait on hold. I even called after 9pm and was helped within 3 mins. I submitted a CVS survey and was emailed by Joe Ferlet “manager” asking to make things right and asked for a good time to call me. I responded with my number and told him to call anytime! He never called or responded to my message. This in itself tells you why this location is the way it is. POOR MANAGEMENT!!
CVS Lake Jackson has great service. Front end cashier, Jasmine, was super helpful and kind!
Why isnt zero stars an option!!!?? I dont like the word HATE, so I strongly strongly dislike this pharmacy so much so that I have put in a request with my insurance company to stop using them as the go to pharmacy for my sons monthly medication, they approved his meds through walgreens but only for a limited time and here we are having to use CVS again! The people are freaking rude here and the wait is absolutely stupid long just even to find out if the prescription is ready..ugh
If I could give this pharmacy an absolute zero I would. Ive had pharmacy employees argue with me for my medicine not being covered by insurance. Ive used my insurance plan for 2 years, so Im knowledgeable on how it works. I call in a refill for a prescription, and get told when its going to be ready. Its never ready. The employees in the pharmacy have zero customer service skills. Ive never had issues with any other CVS Ive used, and its extremely irritating.
Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with
Lady at the drive thru was extremely rude. No way I will ever go back.
When I first started coming here, there were long lines all the time. In the last 2 years, the wait time decreased. You still have the occasional miscommunications between doctors requesting and pharmacy, but that is everywhere. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly even when they are at their busiest. When the line starts to build, an additional person steps in to assist. On a more personal note, I specifically like the fact that the same employees have been there for several years. As often as I visit to fill my prescriptions, I should know everyone by now. :)
AMAZING night Pharmacist ... CVS has found a diamond and they probably dont even know it. His name is Mthethuvumile Mpofu, RPh. The simple calming and respectful toe of his voice over the phone relaxed our situation at home. Once I arrived to pick up my wifes medication to ease her pain, he was even more pleasant to speak with. This particular time in our country (2020) I found this to be simply amazing. Even the last few years if grinding on with work and everyday life, it is hard to find someone (a stranger) who is unselfish. As soon as my wife had her med in her hand I sat down to write this review. THIS is how much of an impact this had on our evening!! THANK YOU, SIR!! and Thank you CVS for having this man on your team. You should reward him for making us and our community feel cared for and welcomed.
Worst drive thru ever! Could care a less about their customers.
I would give 0 stars if i could!!!!! the people are CONSTANTLY RUDE. never not rude. on the phone ? rude? in person? even worse. I needed a prescription filled. an antidepressant. i got a text that they were special ordering my prescription and they would text me when it was ready. a week later and still no text. i called and they said the medicine i needed was on back order at all CVS so i won’t be getting my medicine. at this point i was feeling horrible symptoms from suddenly stopping my antidepressants- such as irritability, brain shivers, flu like symptoms, disturbing thoughts, vivid nightmares, and insomnia. I 100% will never go back to CVS. what part of “your medicine is on special order and we will let you know when it’s ready” translates to: “we do not have your medicine and you will not get it” HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Ive lived in Lake Jackson 15 years & have never had a problem with any staff on the store side nor on the pharmacy side. Always recieved a smile & helpful attitude. The lines can be slow but not too much. Its faster to go inside if there are more than 2 cars in the pull up but I just take the time to check email etc. Ive tried doing the coupon things but its a bit confusing.
Forgot to refill a prescription before driving through, but the pharmacist was able to fill it quickly while I waited in the drive through.
I have been coming to this particular location throughout dental surgery. Every time My doctor calls in medication and I drive over they rudely tell me they don’t have anything. I tell clerk name of pharmacists that the doctors office spoke to and to please ask them. Clerks usually refuse to ask pharmacist and tell me to come back in 20 or 30 minutes to an hour. I explain I am waiting to go home 45 minutes away after surgery. The PHARMACIST has begun to know who I am and they tell me they are working on it or it’s almost done. THE CLERKS ARE RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE. Last time I was drooling blood and told to sit down my paper towel soaked through they didn’t have any tissue nor paper towels in the bathroom. I literally sat down dripping blood and it was the pharmacist who brought my prescription up. Most times they have a line at the window, the last time there was literally nobody waiting inside or outside. Again no line but the rude clerk just refuses to ask so I have to wait until the pharmacist finishes filling it and it appears in the computer system because it’s too much to just ask, for her. There are a few nice clerks. I’ve never met a nice window clerk so I come inside. Including photo of extremely rude clerk.
Drive thru people are extremely rude. Yelled at me to move to the back of the line. I already waited 30 minutes. Maybe ask me nicely to go around, you may have got a better response. I didnt move told her Ill be happy to wait there. She then accused me of blaming her for not having the insurance in the system. When really I just dont respond well to rude snap people. And she then had the pharmacist come yell at me to move or not get my prescriptions. I got them without moving my car. Didnt take 10 minutes after sitting behind another person equally as long.Oh and she took about 8 minutes to initially show up to the window to great me. But i was holding up the line.
The pharmacy staff was incredibly helpfull and even stayed late and waited for our teledoc prescription.
Went to the drive thru to pick up my medicine today which was supposed to be ready, and they told me it wasnt and would be over an hour before i could get it. the woman handling the drive thru decided to get an attitude and act like i was the one in the wrong, when they were the one that forgot to fill it. never been so ticked off in my whole life. no sense in being rude the the customers people
Holy cow are these people rude. I called six different times yesterday trying to get ahold of somebody and waited anywhere from ten to twenty minutes still with no answer! Finally got ahold of someone today and she was rude, inpatient for no reason and unprofessional. She kept putting me on hold and wouldnt let me fully answer questions or talk. Will be going somewhere else.
Id give zero stars if I could. Staff ignores customers and then gives excuses as to why they had something more important to do. Staff and management argues with customers about insignificant things, they ring up stuff wrong and then take ten minutes to undo the damage, and once I was flat out lied to about a policy saying I couldnt use my extra care card unless I gave them personal information. Do yourself a favor and go to the Walgreens across the street. Youll get better service and save a bunch of time.
This place is ridiculous. The drive through is so slow. I would rather drive to Angleton and pick my medication up. If I wasnt stuck in line I would leave
Very friendly staff, not sure why the negative reviews in here because pharmacy staff very helpful and drive thru efficiently processed my orders.
I have never sat so long in a drive thru, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Its called in ahead of time. I dont see what the problem is.
Very slow and unfriendly pharmacy staff. The drive-thru wait times are ridiculous at anytime of the day. Absolute worst pharmacy Ive ever used.
Pharmacy always very slow, rude clerks, and often out of medication! You cant fill certain scripts like adderall ahead of time, and they were out, said it would be a week before they could get more. Awful, always. I always go to Freeport CVS now, despite the drive.
There are so many issues with this pharmacy. The staff is RUDE beyond belief and I have had MAJOR issues with filling RX. I went to refill an RX that was expired. My doctor has called in a refill a month prior and I even called to make sure they received the refill order from my doc so there would be no issues when I needed the refill. I was told that everything would be ready when I needed it. When I called in the refill I was told that it was expired. I went to the store to sort out the issue and the pharmacy was close because the pharmacist never showed up. I was told that my RX was on hold so no other CVS could fill the RX without the receiving something from the pharmacists. I then watched the entire pharmacy staff walk out, get in their cars and drive off.On another occasion, I went to fill an RX for an epipen for a sever peanut allergy. The RX was $500 (not the pharmacys fault) but was then told by one of the techs that I should just carry some Benadryl and if I have a reaction to take one. This was the most absurd advice I have ever received since this is a life threatening allergy. I would recommend ANY other pharmacy than this one.
I dont recommend it for passport photos. Service was pretty fast, but they wont let you print your own, they require you to let them take it, and then an employee takes it with a cell phone. The printing was shoddy with overlap from one photo to the next, and they would only give me two prints when I needed four. It was $16 for this junk!
Sat on hold for 22 minutes. Drive home from work in Freeport all the way there and they still hadn’t answered.
Very rude employees and the internet says your open till midnight but drove all the way there at 10pm and they had been closed for 2 hours already. Update your info CVS. This kind of service is disgraceful and mean to someone who needs a Rx filled late. Ugh. 😭😭😭😭😠
ZERO STARS. No matter what time I come, or how many times, there is ALWAYS a problem with my prescription. I usually drop off AND give an extra hour, on top of the time given it will be ready & it still isnt. Ill reveive a text msg its ready for pick up & it isnt.
ZERO STARS!!! I have had nothing but issues with this pharmacy!! There is always a line, whether its drive thru or inside. The staff is always rude and unhelpful! I had to go in after my surgery due to them messing up my scripts when my mom picked them up, they refused to fix it and refund my money, they refused to contact my ins to verify it was covered, and then sent me back to the end of the line to pick up what was FINALLY ready! Im switching as of today, final straw, im done!!!Side note:when i started using this pharmacy, the staff member that helped me, went above and beyond to help me, she is no longer employed there! If she was i would deal with the issues to have her help! Its sad they lost the one good employee they had....
This is the WORST Cvs there is. The employees are very rude and hateful. They do not properly honor their coupon policy or return policy. They ALWAYS have a hateful attitude, they limit the number of products you can get so you cant reach the extrabucks reward. They make up rules about the coupon policy that dont exist they are NOT coupon friendly. The store manager is the worst one of all. They go out of their way to make couponers fell unwanted and unwelcomed. The cvss in the neighboring cities are so nice and very coupon friendly. The lake Jackson store has the worst customer service they are never properly stocked on sale items and they dont put them out on purpose because they dont want people with coupons getting them free. The day after the sale ends they restock and put everything out, I have already asked when the truck day is and it isnt the day after the sale ends or even the day before its several days before. And if you ask them to go check in the back for something they straight up lie about it and say they dont have any without even checking. I would give this store a negative review if possible. Do not shop here unless you want hateful attitude and limits on sale items.
The people working there are so rude and unpolite.I dont like the staff or employees working there they are so unhelpfull. One of the employees name hailey, she is really mean, when I was there today buying some items with my friend, Then she would Only let one of us buy the items we want. Do you want to sell to customers? If you dont want to sell to me then you Should just close or shut down the store. Then she would get mad at me because I buy alot. This happened already happened 2 times already, when I went with My Friends and I am tired of it. This happened in lake Jackson
Had 3 prescriptions to be filled left the doctors 10 minutes later they called and said they were ready fast service nice people 10 times better then walmart lol
Good service. Sometimes takes a while but its because they are very busy.
RUDE! NEVER ANSWER PHONE. SOMETIMES ONE WILL NEED AN ID THEN NEXT TIME THEY WONT FOR THE SAME THING. AGAIN..RUDE !
If I could rate this store with zero stars maybe even a neg. star I would! Most (I say most because I am sure I have not met or dealt with all) employees at this store always have horrible attitudes, mad or upset faces, only say hello when you walk in because they have to (I guess), they walk around with the body language followed by the facial expressions of dont want to be bothered, they are most definitely not coupon friendly, they are easily frustrated by anything other then just scan/give total/pay process, they are rude when you question something or even assume something since its not specific, the managers are no different, they also walk around silent, they snatch things from counter, they have treated me like if I am trying to pull a fast one on them, they have talked to me with attitude and ended it with have a wonderful day, I can totally say that they are definitely not interested in selling there products but more interested in staying stocked up. 1 example of how nasty management along with who ever suggested it are is by what they did with the wet n wild products that are Bogo free, first day maybe even second day there were no limits until 2 days ago I went and saw they had written on tags limit of 1, so yesterday 4/28 I went to purchase 4 items since I had 4 like coupons and she snatched 2 from the counter and put behind the register and said as loudly as can be with a nasty attitude only limit of 1, so I said ok thats fine I only grabbed 1 bogo free lipstick and 1 bogo free nail polish, she said noooo only one bogo not one of each item.... I was like oh ok I thought 1 of each thats why I grabbed 2 lip 2 nail, limit of 1, so I went to grab to see which 2 items I was going to get and realized she had already grabbed 2 and put behind register.. to me that is sooo rude, her body language, facial expressions, tone of voice, and the fact that they would limit the wet n wild to 1 only leads me to believe they must totally dislike couponers since right now there is coupons that make them free+tax.Does this CVS rather keep the shelves stocked then sell to couponers? Why not stock up on items that they know are great deals being advertise, why not stock up period?Labels are not being put up like they are suppose to. Is that so that couponing customers overlook a great deal?Do these employees Just want to get paid to be there and not to actually deal with customers or stock the store?Do they just want to maintain a pretty store?I travel to different states in the US with my husband and I have not EVER been into a CVS where they are so rude, obnoxious, unprofessional, under stocked, under staffed, unfriendly, unhappy, and just plain nasty to customers as in this store here!!!!It doesnt matter how many times I go it never fails!!!!!
Never been treated so hateful in a place of business I go elsewhere to get my medicine filled.
Nothing! They rarely get the prescription when I try to do the automated refill. My husband dropped a prescription off in the morning and told them he would be picking it up after work and when he got there they said they didnt have anything. Long story short they dug through the trash can and found it.Worst pharmacy!!!
I NEVER have a good experience here. They are under staffed, there is ALWAYS a long line and they are not friendly. When I finally do get waited on, they never have my medicine ready even though my doctor calls it in. Most of the time they say they have no record of it. So frustrating. I wouldnt use them if I had a choice; but my insurance requires it.
Dont ever try to wait for a prescription here, or plan on picking up when they say will be ready. They will tell you and hour, then after the hour an extremely rude employee will tell you another hour. Very inconvenient and annoying when you work, and have to take lunch and make arrangements around their extremely inaccurate time frames. Very frustrating dealing with this particular CVS.
P. Poor service. Long delays. Lost prescriptions. Use CVS Freeport or Walgreens
Never have anything in stock!! Rude people over the phone and its so disorganized!! I am ready to switch pharmacies!! Dont go beware!!
All of them ought to be fired except the black guy with the beard
Awful service at Pharmacy. The phone will ring for 20 minutes and no one will pick up.
This pharmacy sucks on just about every level when it comes to service with drugs. They send you a text your med is ready, go there and its not. Lines to wait are always long no matter when you go or inside or drive thru.
Worst service Of all the pharmacy is this place. dont use this pharmacy please.
I went to drive-through at 1:00pm. Five cars waiting. No movement for7 min. This is poor service. I drove away for another day.
Busy place but open on Sundays and been going there for 2 years now.
Never enough staff on hand. Terrible service. If my companys insurance plan didnt require we use CVS, I would never use this pharmacy.
