Went in for an appointment at 10AM and spent 5 hours there just for a wheel balancing and a squeak I was hearing from the rear brakes (which they couldnt fix). Never got a heads up on how long it would take either. My car was pulled into the shop about an hour and half later. When I noticed my car wasnt there and it was already 5 hrs in I ask the guy at front what was the hold up. He said they were trying to contact me on my phone but had an invalid number (a completely different one). He saw me a few times coming in and out of the shop so he could of said something. He then asked to correct the info and as I said my number he verbally completed the rest. How were they calling the wrong number then? Definitely not going back. I had to decline the lifetime balancing, I dont want to spend 2-3 hrs just for that. Better off with a mom and pop shop.

The level of care and customer service I received from Mason was top of the line. I came in with my son stressed out because I had a nail in my tire, causing it to be nearly flat. He immediately addressed it, and I was so grateful for his help today. Will continue to go to the Lake Mary Tires Plus location moving forward. This was my second experience here, and they do not disappoint.

I was acknowledged immediately upon entering the store. The staff are very professional and efficient even thought they were busy. I was well cared for and all my questions were answered. My car was serviced in a reasonable time frame. The waiting area was very clean. I will return for any future automotive needs. I dont normally recommend auto service to others but I will recommend this location. Thank you for a job well done.

Came in without an appointment due to some emergency battery issue, thought I’d have to wait several hours since they were so busy. To my surprise, Jason fit me right in and took care of the problem. I’ve been coming to this location for a number of years and the staff has been good. However, Jason truly went above and beyond, his attitude and customer service skills are quite impressive.

I called them less than an hour before they closed on a Sunday and they allowed me to come in and changed my damaged tire. They were kind and professional and made a positive difference in my day. Thank you!

We stopped by a month ago to report low tire pressure. They were extremely kind to check the tire, fill it and we left. No cost. Today we stopped by due to a flat tire. Mason was extremely professional, polite and honest. He 1st gave us an honest opinion, a few ideas and we settled for replacing the flat tire with a donut tire. However, if we do need tires replaced, I am coming back to Tires Plus on Lake Mary because everyone there is courteous and professional especially Mason. I enjoyed working with him.

Jason and Mason did a great job assisting me getting my truck aligned. They were knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend you check with them with all your service needs.

Not bad, but guys take too long to respond when you want air in tires but they are nice

Extremely overpriced and understaffed. Went for an alignment and they asked for $170 with a 3 hour time….went to Gator Tire literally down the road and got it perfectly aligned for $81 and a 60 minute wait. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I had an appointment at 11am, I arrived at 10:50 am. I went in for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. I was told that it would be 1.5 hrs. My car wasnt pulled into the bay until 12:40 pm. The technical than proceeded to work on a tire for another vehicle. He did this twice. He completed the oil and tires at around 1:25 pm. I was then told that the alignment would take another 45 mins. I told them that I could not continue waiting and to cancel the alignment. Ridiculous to have to wait 2.5 hrs for an oil change. There are plenty of locations that I can go to, to get faster service. This is not the first experience that I have had with long wait times at this location. I will not be going to this location again!

Called yesterday late afternoon to get my tire replaced, the guy on the phone was honest and said that the shop was pretty busy and it would be over an hour before they got to it if I brought it in. He recommended coming in the morning if possible, they opened at 7am. Got there on the dot and they knocked it out in 25 min, and I got to work by 8. Awesome job, second tire they have done for me. Would highly recommend!

Called and quoted $190 to replace rear brake pads and resurface rotors. Arrived and told I had no more than 1,000 miles of tread left on my tires and was at danger of the cords start to break through. Then was told I need to pay $23 for a brake inspection. I showed coupon for free brake inspection and told that was only for a preliminary visual inspection but I had to pay to have the tires removed for a full inspection. Further, the $50 discount was only for basic service so if they found anything more during the inspection I couldn’t use it. Needless to say, I left.

Went for a battery change on my company vehicle. the staff was courteous and replace it fairly quick. place was clean and Covid 19 compliance.

We had a flat tire and ask them to plug it. They were not very helpful. They just wanted to sell use a new tire. Our vehicle was a rental. Why would we buy a new tire.

All tire plus stores around town were overbooked and not helpful in organizing sppointments, thankfully Dan in longwood made time for me and fixed my tire patch as promised same day. Great store always and reliable and honest.

They took a late Phone call from us on a Friday night when my wife broke down and promised to squeeze us in the next day even though they were completely booked. We had a child in the hospital and we were in the area from out of town. As promised the looked at our our car on Saturday morning. Our stay was extended in town due the break down and they were excellent with communications and honesty the entire time. Hondas can be tricky to work on but they got it right. I had to head back home to get to work and they even went out of their way to pick up my wife and daughter from the hotel when the truck was complete. Brandon really went out of his way to get my wife back on the road safely! Thanks to the entire team for everything

Only reason this place gets a 4 star is because of Josh second time Ive been here. He is so well mannered and truly helps you. Like it doesnt bother him that you need assistance unlike this red hair that works there attitude for days. Josh keep up the good work only time ill come back.

Well i made an apt to have just a diagnostic look at the vehicle on monday for Thursday 615. I arrived and was very rudely told that they cant do it . Then the man proceeded to complain about the time and lack of staff, told me i didnt have an apt. I walked out and asked another employee for the mans name. As he started to try and help the original man came out asking what was wrong. I told him your attitude and asked his name . Apparenrly he didnt want to share that info and wanted to play the race card. Oh just tell them the black guy with the braids. I said okay thank you and left . How unprofessional and racial was that. Ts a sad world w live in when employees are permitted to act thos way . Go anywhere else.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to give this racketeering place less than 1 star. They charged me $360 adjust an AC knob that was pushed in 1/4 of an inch. Also, they charged for a dashboard they cracked. Stay away from this place!

Poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and most importantly terrible judgement. Don’t trust their advice. Will only lead you to spending more money.I wanna down on a comment I left two weeks ago. I recently had my a/c check at another facility (not tires plus) and they informed me the only thing leaking was my low pressure schrader valve… in total it cost me just under 50 dollars to replace. In comparison to Tires plus diagnostic that said I need to replace the new A/C compressor and recharge the system again for 1,200…. THIS CONFIRMS THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. BUYER BEWARE !!! Would definitely get second input before trusting their opinions. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

Went in for tires and oil change and probably they wanted to upsell like crazy. Cant afford everything on disability unless its free. Appreciate the concerns for the vehicle.

Worst place ever a waste of my time. I went for front breaks replacement and they check everything else. From $152 they wanted me to pay over $800 for tires, routers, and breaks pads. Even though I told them I dont have money for router just break pads. They made me go and they wont change it with out the new routers. I was told by two different mechanics that break pads would be fine but yes routers need to be changed in the future I didnt have the money to pay $250 for break pads replacement there so I came here.worst decision I ever made. Im definitely leaving a review at the BBB.

Very condescending manager. I watched the way he talked to his employees and he talked down to them. Then when I chose not to do the service they suggested because I didn’t have the $410, he proceeded to ask me condescending questions like “well why would you come in here if you didn’t plan on doing the work and paying for it?” Rude! I wanted to put new brake pads but didn’t have the extra money for new rotors too. So I asked if they would just do new pads today and I’ll come back another time for rotors... they gave me a line of bs that they are corporate and can’t do half jobs. That’s fine with me, but when I can’t afford to have you do the entire job don’t shame me and talk down to me. My advice, take your money and car somewhere else where they tear you nice. My favorite place is Knights Automotive but I just happened to be right by this location and had some time. Never again though. Oh wait and they try to up sell you on everything, but that’s kind of industry normal.

We’ve been customers of local Tires Plus in Lake Mary, over 12 years - they’ve been great to work with and I can’t think of a time when I’ve not popped in to put air in my tires, where they’ve got jumped right in to service me. All of our vehicles over last few years, when the need arises for tires - they are competitive and service oriented.

Sales associate was super friendly! Lucas fixed my car perfectly and quickly!

The worst service I have ever seen. I went for a pitted tire. after a long time of waiting they wanted to force me to buy a new one. it only has 5k miles. scammers the tire is absolutely fixable

I was on my way to the Sanford airport and my back right tire blew out. This was at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2020. AAA came and was able to put on my spare but explained the blown out tire wouldnt hold air. I still needed to drive 2 1/2 hours back home. Tires Plus in Lake Mary was the only tire repair shop open until 5. Once AAA left the scene, it was already 4:45 p.m. Brandon answered the phone and assured me someone would wait until I arrived. Sure enough two gentlemen were still at the store waiting to help my husband and I. Within 25 minutes we were back on the road with a new tire. The evening manager (I wish I knew both of the mens names who stayed as they were fantastic) told me their number one job was that we were safe for our drive home. I cannot say enough about how we were treated by Tires Plus Lake Mary, Florida. Thank you again and again!

Too pricey and they do unnecessary service without informing. I went for brake pad replacement and they did complete vehicle inspection (note:my car was recently serviced at dealer) and hav to pay for useless inspection. Their parts and labor also too expensive inspite of coupons. Wont recommend this place.

These guys don’t know anything besides tires, not only do they make me wait past schedule times for simple things like oil changes and rotations put the last straw they couldn’t seem to fix my air-conditioning I paid over $300 and it Seems like it got worse. It seemed convenient the location and all but I have wasted so much time and money here is not even funny.

Got couple thing done at this shop, last was tires replaced. Good tire advise and I didn’t know about tight size for my new rims, got a right advise and happy with that. Time wise need to understand that it could be different because of type of job done, be patient if waiting and it will be done right!

Went in to get my rotors turned, mechanic cross threaded my rear caliper. Needless to say I said no to any work done on my car after that. If you can’t even get a simple job like that done sorry you’re not getting my business ever again.

Came in yesterday (out of all days on a Sunday) with a nail in my tire. Caught a flat the night prior. No other places open in the area and I was turned away from Tire Kingdom. They weren’t even willing to take a look at my tire. Nonetheless, these gentlemen here at Tires plus serviced me. Took a little bit of a wait but it was expected. In their defense, as far as the wait times are concerned, I literally witnessed these men get slammed one customer after another. But they were pretty diligent in getting everyone out of there as quickly as possible. It’s definitely a popular location. I was also fortunate enough to witness some loyal customers. That was pretty enlightening to see. Big thank you to Josh who didn’t turn me away and was very friendly and hospitable and the gentleman who serviced my tire also! We all shared some good laughs and they made me feel very welcome! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Replaced my girlfriends Hyundia brake rotors (cost roughly $200) for $800 and they were absolutely fine. Didnt want her to take them home, asking her if she knew what she was even looking at?.

Poor service, horrible communication skills. Took my van up to get the tires rotated and paid for inspection. Part was bad on my brakes I got it installed elsewhere and called ahead to schedule for the brakes to be bled, they had The van profile up and said no problem $80. After I got the van towed And dropped off it turned into $700 I said no thank you and got the van towed back mind you I have not driven the van since I went to start it and run it for about five minutes my pulley fell off along with two belts. The van was not even driven 5 miles since the inspection I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They helped me while I was in a jam, I had an object in my tire & they put my spare on for me. The cost was a little steep just for that.

I needed to recharge my frion, I called in advance,gave my car info, was told it would be $130, got there and after further calculations, it was going to be $165 My husband was bringing the car in, so I called and asked how does the price go up like that, was given the run around...Anyway if you want honest people and honest prices for your air conditioning needs, go to Casselberry Ice Cold Air!

I was treated with professionalism plus something extra. They were friendly, kind and helpful and I immediately felt that I could trust them to help me make the right decisions and not take advantage of me. We even talked about how we have seen people do random acts of kindness and bless each other, which is a rare thing, but does happen in our society.

Excellent service and great management. I was need of tires and a rim due to an accident. I am familiar with tires plus and had my car towed to this location. I was able to listen to the staff handle calls, greet customers, offer services and resolve a customer complaint. The rim I needed had to be delivered by a courier, and this delay allowed me the opportunity to see the staff in action. The mechanics out on the floor/bay area, were professional and thorough. The staff members inside the store and the manager on site, handled various situations with honesty and class. They have complimentary coffee and water, and this location has lots of nearby eateries and shops. I only wish this crew was located closer to my home. Enjoyed my time at the store, which was about 5 hours.

I am sad to say after close to 10 years of being a loyal customer of tires plus in lake Mary that I wouldn’t let them touch my car if they paid me! After my experience yesterday! I went in for my scheduled appointment for a balance and rotation and alignment. I was checked in buy a new guy that gave zero eye contact and told that my car would be ready by the time estimated. I called to see if my car was ready and told it would be ready to go in 5 minuets. I got there and the same guy didn’t Even even recognize me from two hours before . He was scrambling all around looking for my paperwork turns out my car had been balanced and rotated but they alignment have not even been done yet . He said it would be another 30 minutes or so I said OK that’s fine I just have to leave by certain time . I come back the car still sitting there proceeds to tell me will take about up to another hour. I told him that I need to be out by a certain time if they could get it done that would be great so I can leave . Then he disappears and this lady comes out And says you’re free to go . My alignment was not even done she said wait he told me that you told him to take it down you’re going to leave . After all that They exceeded my appointment time by over an hour and only completed half of the work . They were very rude and not accommodating and anyway. As I was driving home my car sounded super loud which it never has before I called and they told me when they do a rotation that it could happen for a bit which I understand that It was extremely loud even with the radio on and the air blasting . I went to another tires plus closer to my home the very next day. They test drove my car and fixed the noise by re doing the balance and rotation. They were very polite, professional, and did a great job and in the time I was quoted! The only thing that I like about tires plus in lake Mary is the manager. He is very professional and knowledgeable and great customer service and honest. He was not there yesterday unfortunately.

2+ hours for an oil change. Not once did anyone say it would take this long. When I call and ask if they can do walk ins, politely tell your customers “sure of course, but here’s a heads up, it’ll be about 2-3 hours. I show up give the guy my keys and he says “we’ll get it started right away for you”. 2 hours later I’m sitting in the waiting room with my hungry inpatient 2.5 year old. Horrible service.

This stores waiting room and rest room were spotless when they opened at 7 oclock this morning shortly after I limped in with a flat tire.I watched the crew open up with efficiency and speed and then when the doors opened they got right to me. They pulled the tire, patched it, and then re-balanced it before putting it back on my car.The folks were nice and very professional. The only draw back I could see in it all was the price they quoted me for an oil change which was markedly greater than I pay at my dealership.For tire service, though, I definitely recommend this store.

Im giving one star simply because the waiting room was a decent places to wait, while we waited forever just for them to tell us what was wrong with our tire. We had an appointment for 9 am. We got there on time for our 9 am appointment. All we needed was for them to tell us why our tire pressure sensor light was on (even after filling tires to appropriate air pressure). So finally after asking why our car hadnt even been looked at (it was about 10:15) they pulled our car in. At 10:23 they call my name and they have a print out of what they claim needed to be done. Totaling to about $420.00. Two tires needed to be replaced (which we thought was going to happen). They claim we needed an alignment, as well as new wipers... to sum it all up we left because we knew we could get BRAND NEW tires else where for far much cheaper. We go to different spot to get the new tires, inquired about the wipers that we would have needed to be replaced so we could get them replaced and were told that our wipers were great, still soft and no reason to replace. I believe Tires Plus seen two females and thought we were a bunch of idiots and tried to get money out of us. Unfortunately it happens far to much to people who think they have no other choice. I feel bad for anyone who is doing business with these people, because you are getting robbed blind. Take what they claim you owe with a grain of salt, and get a second opinion.and also i rarely write reviews, especially bad reviews i just thought this was so unprofessional and no respect for peoples time or money.

Really like this place. I purchased a set of tires many years ago and every time I have had a nail or screw in one of them they repair or replace it for free. Have had many repairs done to both my wifes car and mine with no issues. Highly recommend.

Got new tires installed on my Factory Painted OEM rims. Installer scorned all 4 wheels, leaving a scratch all around each wheel. Manager promised to call in a wheel repair guy (Oct 11) Still have not heard back from him.Willing to change review if status changes, but as of now I would recommend staying away from this shop.

Went in this afternoon to get a single tire fixed. Won’t be back. Literally only on customer there when we got there. They did they would get right on it. Wouldn’t take long. They didn’t even pull it in for an hour. Then it still took an hour to get a single tire put on.I’m a truck driver. I can blow a tire in the middle of nowhere. And once the truck gets there, takes them 15 minutes to get me on the road againFind another shop. Don’t go here.

Place is a typical shop, customer service is what you can expect from the personalities they have there. Dont expect overly happy employees. You walk into waiting area and its super dull, makes the wait feel even longer.

As someone who services my own car, Ive come here for the few services I cant do such as alignments and mounting tires. Ive had some occasions where they tell me things I dont need. More importantly though, whenever they tell me I need something, I tell them that I do the work myself. Upon this statement, they always give me a rude attitude. Im sorry they dont get more money out of me. If they dont appreciate the occasional business I do give them, I will find a company that does.

I should have looked up reviews prior to making an appointment here and wasting my time. Came in about 15 minutes early for an alignment and after close to an hour, got up to see that my car was still sitting in the same spot. I understand that a shop can fall behind but it doesnt take much to communicate that to your customers. The owners of the vehicle currently occupying the alignment rack told me they have been waiting for over 2 hours! Im not upset at the store brand as I use to live by red bug and have never had any issues with those guys. Will be trying the Longwood location next as it is the next closes to me.

Took truck right in no delay

Do not go to this place even if you have an appointment. They are extremely slow. My appointment was at 3pm and I left st 5pm just for a simple oil change. My tire pressure light was on and guess what it remained on after my car was returned to me. I will never cheat on Pepboys ever again.

Ive been consistently disappointed with the service here but always gave them the benefit of doubt in how they handled things. But now I am done with this place. They are always adding shop fees that they dont tell you about until you are checking out. Ive brought my car here for air filter change only to drive home and hear sounds from under the hood. When I opened the hood, I saw they had forget to close the air filter case. When you bring things to their attention, no one ever takes responsibility. They just dont care.

I have been taking my 6 vehicles here for years. But after how i was treated today I will never be back. My bill was $3,300 and I needed to get cash from the bank. So they had one of their workers ride with me in my car to the bank like I was going to run off without paying.Then to top it off you would have thought everything was fixed for how much I spent but no THEY broke my gear shift handle which makes it go into overdrive all the time now. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I am a woman. So women if you think you can trust these guys at Tires Plus in Lake Mary, the answer is NO!!!

Had a flat on i4 on my way to st.augustine. These guys got us in right off the tow truck and we grabbed some lunch at the restaurant next door. Before we were done the tire was changed, put on and ready to go! These guys were helpful and made a good day that turned bad back in to a great one. Out-of-towners here for a baseball tournament with a tight schedule. We had a tire emergency and called three other National stores...None had this common tire in stock and said they could get it within three days, no sooner. One store even advised me not to go to Tires Plus because I’d pay too much. No car, far away from home is no good. Called Tires Plus for a quote, not only did hey have the tire they squeezed us in just before closing and the price was comparable. Polite professional staff from beginning to end. I even saw The amazing service man using a hand jack, in the dark, in the rain removing my damaged tire. I would have never know. The just did the right thing for their customers. Happy to have found them.

My car was idling poorly and shifting gears poorly. The check engine light was on as well as TSA light. The staff was extremely professional, honest, informative and helpful. They explained everything to me fully, gave me options when possible, answered all of my questions and explained the need for each repair. The work was done meticulously (as is the case with the numerous times I have taken ALL my cars to them) and accurately. I will continue to have all of my vehicles serviced here.

Only reason Im giving it 2 stars, is because of the very nice woman Valerie. Otherwise I could have done the job myself faster. Still here. After 2 hours. Got here at 5:45pm, wasnt busy, not sure if they are short staffed or what but...ridiculous. Car wasnt taken in until 6:45, and they close at 7. If you can avoid it, go somewhere else.

I have had only great experiences at this location. I assume the locations are all different, but, these folks here, in Lake Mary, are honest, and thoughtful in their pricing and use of coupons, etc. I needed my car at a certain time and it was ready on more than one occasion.

Highly recommend! Had a car emergency tonight and took it to the nearest place, Tires Plus, an hour before they closed. They diagnosed the problem and had the sensor needed delivered real fast. They even stayed late just to get me back on the road again since I live over an hour away. Thank you again to everyone here tonight!

Made an appt for an oil change and then after 30 minutes of waiting was told it would be another hour and a half. Stopped again today at 11 and was told if I didnt have an appt they wouldnt be able to do it (even if I dropped my car off, with 5 hours left to be open). Seems like you cant get fast service either way. Managing the schedule is very important for customer service. Been going to Tires Plus for 10 years and will not be back.

Took my daughters car in to have it checked out and they said the wheel hub needed to be completely changed out and wanted to charge over $500 to change it. Go to the dealer to have them run a check and it was just a sensor. These guys better get their act together because I see its an issue with providing false information to make money. I went to them to save money from the dealer not the other way around.

Great experience. customer service was professional and helped me get a replacement tire with my warranty. Service took as long as I was told it would take. Waiting area is no different than any other waiting area in any other tire service business.

Go somewhere else. They do not honor advertised pricing like other locations. Scheduling appointments is a joke. Not a good place for someone who expects prompt service. Save yourself the headache and frustration. We wont be returning here.

I bought a set of above average tires to replace the stock tires that came on my 2014 Explorer. Knowing my wifes luck with tires, (and i love my wife), i went with the options to protect the tires. Well, no thanks to the debris this hurricane Irma left for us to drive on resulted in a blow out. Mike at TiresPlus understood my frustration, having bought them recently enough, and he did what it took to help take the pain out of the warranty, kept me happy and the wife driving down the road safely. Listen, heres the truth.. car repairs of any type really occur only one way.. unexpectedly. When you need something done, give these guys a call.. because at the end of the day, they didnt have to do anything.. but they did.. and I appreciate that extra effort.

Dropped my truck off at noon for a quick tire patch they said would be ready in an hour and a half to two hours. I called at 3:30 to check in, they said they were working on it. I came back to pick up at 6pm (SIX hours from when I dropped it off) and my truck was in the exact same spot I parked it in when I dropped it off. And the guy behind the counter said they were still working on it, they never even touched it. Never going back.

Ive been using this location for years and Ive always had great customer service. In fact, my expectations have been exceeded and Im reasonable but not easy to please. I think their pricing is competitive and they stand behind their work. They get the work done as estimated for both when it will be ready and what it will cost. I have two Jags and a Ford Escape and take all three vehicles there for repairs and tires. I didnt start out with this place because I didnt expect a tire outfit to be all that capable of mechanical work. But Ive always been pleased so they convinced me by showing me they can get the job done.

They just forget to change the oil which i was ordering. No problem, there is bunch of other places. Thanks

Im an owner of a couple of businesses and have 5 vehicles that need constant maintenance. Have they dropped the ball before, yes. But compared to other mechanic shops in the area they are the best. They constantly go above and beyond the task at hand. They trouble shot the situation and if they cant do it they let me know. If they can fix it, they actually fix the problem, instead of dealerships in the area that Ive had issues with wanting to plug and play until they figure it out. Their prices are reasonable. I stand by them and highly recommend them for personal and business vehicles.

The relationship goes downhill once the payment is received. So I had a tire repaired because of a nail. The tire continued to lose air. Several times I attempted to have them reinspect and fix the tire. It was always a two hours to three hours wait. While on vacation, I had my son take the tire for repair. They claimed they could not find any defects but repaired and charged for an additional tire repair(not detected by my 2017 sensor). When I returned from vacation, the tire was flat. I attempted a last time to get them to honor their work by taking the SUV back. I Ubered to work. 2-1/2 hours later, they never even looked at the tire. I picked it up. Apparently, new customers take priority.

Mike was the saving grace of this visit for me. I came in for an oil change & tire rotation via CarAdvise for Uber drivers. James checked me in, but not after releasing frustration about my appointment being booked through a 3rd party. He was rude, his patience was very short, he was not helpful whatsoever, and he made this experience completely difficult when it didnt have to be. Mike was kind enough to get me clear information and thankfully he checked me out so I didnt have to deal with James again. 2 stars was being nice, and although Mike saved the day I definitely wont be coming back here.

Only giving two stars because of the customer service I received by Valerie and waiting area is decent. But everything else was price gouged and I can tell you I was taken advantage of. I came in today to get my vehicle diagnosed, my vehicle wasnt turning on, had corrison on my battery as well as a sulfur smell. I drive a 2016 Chevrolet LT Cruze, 40k miles. Never had any issues on my vehicle, always up to date with maintenance. I needed to see what the issue was, guessing dead battery or catalytic converter because of the smell. Leaning towards dead battery. I drop the vehicle off, Valerie checked me in decided to Uber home - get a call back 2 hours later from Al confirming it was my dead battery and telling me it would require an AMG battery and it would cost upper 300s, mind you without the diagnostic fee incorporated of 100. Then of course he tries to upsale, telling me I need an alignment, new tires, air filter and wiper blades. All for 1200, offering me credit check for their card. I decline. I tell him I will call back because 300 sounds pretty expensive just for a battery. I call back and notify that Id like to just pay for the diagnostic and will install my own battery. I Uber back arrive a little past noon. Al is there, notifys me that the vehicle isnt ready. Okay, I go sit in the waiting area. Al then tells me that my old battery is not functioning any longer and my options are to have a battery brought here and I could install it or of course to pay. Mind you I left my house to pick up the vehicle. I was given the okay. So I panic, I dont have the time to get a battery, Uber back again. So I ask what are my options? Al graciously gives me a 10 percent discount and I end up paying 408 dollars for an AMG battery, diagnostic test and labor. Feeling better the situation is fixed, no! I get a phone call 2 hours later from Al asking me if Valerie explained to me that my alternator was in critical condition and was the sole cause of my battery dying and that I should NOT drive the vehicle and get it fixed as soon as possible and he could do it for a whopping 589. I tell him No. What kind of business establishment lets you leave their practice after spending money to call you and tell you not to drive your vehicle after you already payed 400 dollars? Tires Plus does. Drove myself to AutoZone to get a 2nd opinion and they ran a FREE diagnostic test and my alternator came back free of issues. This place is a joke!

I went there because I messed up with my AC. It was cooling fine but summer was getting real hot, so I decided to put more gas in it without knowing what I was doing. I put too much and the compressor couldn’t do it’s job and begun cooling less than before. I took the van there and an hour later they told me I needed a new compressor $1,400 and change +tax. I said no, just use your AC equipment to put the right amount of gas, they said, well that is going to cost close to $100 and there is not guarantee that it will work, I said do it but I want to go in there and see with my own eyes the bottle connected with the gauge showing the gas that you put in, so a little latter they let me in and the AC was cooling fine again. My guess is that they are busy because there is no much competition in the area. Next time I’ll travel a few miles to go somewhere else, it surely is worth hundreds of dollars!

I went to Tires Plus to change my tires and while I was there I added alignment and oil change to my service. The service reps seemed to be helpful and other then the service was taking a while - close to 3 hours, I had nothing to complain about until the next day when I had trouble starting my car. After multiple tries to start my car and while I was waiting for someone to come pick me up, it finally started. I had this issue for the next 2 day and couldnt figure out what was causing it. The car would start sometimes and sometimes not. So, I already had an appointment set up at the dealership thinking that I had an electrical problem with my car and I never had any problems with it in the past. 3 days later when I opened the hood, I noticed that the battery wasnt tightened at one of the terminals and the other terminal was tight. I ended up taking the car back to Tires Plus and complained to the manager. The manager insisted that the battery rattled off on its own. Although he tightened the battery in its place, I still wasnt satisfied for all the grief it was causing me for 3 days straight. I never had the battery rattling off and given the circumstances, this happened immediately after I took my car for service at Tires Plus, my only logical connection is that the battery was taken off and put back without being properly secured at both terminals. My only question is why they would mess with the battery when I just wanted to have the tires changed??? In the future I will only take my car to the dealership for any kind of service and stay away from Tires Plus!!!
