Not only did LMC fix my hardware issue with my screen going black (and other repair shop couldnt figure it out), provided a suggestion to make my computer run faster (without being pushy and price gouging me) but they fixed my software issues also. After I mistakenly cut into a monitor power cord, I called Lake Mary Computers to see it could be salvaged before spending $100 for a new one. They walked me through the repair over the phone and even tested it free of charge before I plugged it back into the monitor. She assured me that not only could they diagnose it, but they could fix it before I came in because as soon as I paid, Id be next up. Contrary to this owners assertion, Im very satisfied with the service at uBreakIFix in Lake Mary. If youre looking for free diagnostics with a smile, go there. Just skip interacting with an owner that thinks a response littered with lies, caps, and exclamation marks is a good way to conduct his business :)Beware: they charge $79 to diagnose whereas everywhere else in town is free. I was told that issue was fixable and would be fixed within 2 days. I was also told that the labor cost of $79 would be subtracted from labor fix it. Then I got a call stating that it wouldnt be fixed, he was keeping the money, and he wouldnt apply the labor to an all labor data transfer, because I wasnt getting it fixed (which was his choice, stating parts were too hard to get). Took it to a chain like I wish I would have done as step 1 and they are fixing it for $180 (even gave me a discount when I explained what happened with him. He didnt even put my computer back together to return it to me!). Wish I never knew Lake Mary Computers existed, so figured Id warn others 😔

Lake Mary Computers did an awesome job at getting my computer restored, I had gone to another local repair shop and they had no clue what to do other than re-image the hard drive which I wasnt about to do. Lake Mary computers took the time to research what was going on and made the necessary repairs at a very reasonable price and they were fast, they had the computer for 2 1/2 days and made repairs while the other shop had it for a week and a half and made no progress. I will be back in the future.

Had to bring in an HP computer that suddenly started Blue Screening with the KMODE error - which is nearly impossible to fix with HPs built in utilities. I brought the computer in and Mike was able to diagnose the problem as a faulty SSD drive right away. Turns out this was exactly the issue and he was able to replace and upgrade the SSD drive and have me back up and running quickly. Great service. I went in thinking my computer problem would be costly. A piece on my HP laptop broke which prevented me from opening and closing it. This caused the base to be slightly broken. It also would not turn on. To my surprise, not only did he save me hundreds of dollars by fixing it on the spot but he provided me with an abundance of information (extremely knowledgeable) My computer is back working great.

Lake Mary Computers can fix any problem you have. Take it from me. My computer was compromised by untrustworthy people claiming to be Microsoft. Apparently they were not who they said they were and they encrypted a password on my computer to where I had to pay three hundred dollars to log in to my computer. Lake Mary Computers found a solution to restore my computer. The peace of mind knowing that Lake Mary Computers have an answer and are trust worthy is all I need.

I dropped off my computer on Monday morning. Mike was to install a 1TB Solid State Drive, and clone the operating system to that drive. He quoted me a very reasonable price and said the machine might be ready that afternoon. I called later in the day, and Mike said hed run into a bit of a glitch due to the HDD configuration that the manufacturer had installed in my computer. I called the next morning, and found that he had solved the problem, completed the work and that the machine was ready for pickup.Everything works fine, and I will certainly use Lake Mary Computers again.
