The line he used Was under promise and overperform The reason for their 5 stars is the overperform. 7 of 8 wheel studs had somehow sheared off the divers side rear dually on the RV while driving. On the road and in Cascade Locks, miles from anywhere that could fix it. Ya cant move it, last one could snap. Courtney understood the danger, gave the best explanation of scenarios that might occur, drove the hour+ to us and on the roadside removed, repaired and replaced the rear wheel hub and tires. There was more, he drove with the ladies to the next town to have the tires replaced and to make sure all was well. I was 3000 miles away, in Alaska, from my girlfriend who was driving. All done by phone and a certain amount of trust in a man, his word, and his crew, who may sound a little gruff and direct but whos word is bankable. Courtney and the boys we cant say thank you enough!!!

We live in the Seattle area but found a car online in the Clackamas/Milwaukee area that really interested us. We werent finding what we want in Washington State at all. No mechanics are open on the weekends in the Portland Metro area.....so a repair shop recommended Mobile PDX. On top of this great suggestion....Courtney, of MPDX, suggested looking at the vehicle on our behalf before we made the trek down. He wanted to make the most of our time and inspect the car to determine if we should travel the 3-4 hours or not. He contacted the dealer and made an appointment to execute a buyers inspection. His service provided the green light we needed to make the drive to purchase the vehicle we had been looking for. We couldnt be happier. Such a great service and fantastic customer service as well. Update: Car we bought that was inspected has oil filled with metal and the wrong oil filter. Car is toast, the engine is also very audibly knocking. Failed to even identify such a major issue, not sure how it could have been overlooked. Now we are stuck with a WRX with a bad engine.I live in the Seattle area and was looking to buy a car in Portland, Courtney was able to get to the dealership the same day and do a very thorough inspection and went into detail about anything wrong with the car.

I live in the Southern Oregon area and was looking at purchasing a used 2015 Outback Limited in Wilsonville. For my peace of mind, I wanted to do a pre-purchase inspection (I highly recommend doing this if you are serious about a vehicle, we all know someone who has been burned on a used car purchase!). I looked at a lot of reviews and contacted a few different mobile mechanics, and ended up choosing Mobile PDX because Courtney was able to work me in very quickly. He made contact with the salesperson I was working with at the dealership and set up a time with them, which was convenient for me because then I wasn’t trying to be a middle person in the communication. After the inspection, he sent me a summary of everything he checked, and told me it was very clean and a good purchase. After getting the all clear, I was able to settle everything with the dealership over the phone immediately after the call, and made the 4 hour drive the next day to pick up my new car! I’ve had my car for a few months now (I made the purchase in June), and it has been everything I expected. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Mobile PDX and I think having the pre purchase inspection was one of the best choices I made when looking for a vehicle. Believe me, the cost of an inspection is well worth the peace of mind on an investment that you’ll spend thousands on. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to people close to me. Wow. The kindness this man showed me brought me to tears. I had to get a whole transmission rebuild and the shop I originally took it to treated me very poorly. I had to take it back to them 2 different times after the rebuild because of the job not being done right the first time. I found Courtney (Mobile PDX) in a desperate Google search trying to find someone who could get to me quickly when my vehicle had once again broke down on the side of the road. I was so stressed out so when he asked me to explain what was wrong with my vehicle I broke down in tears. I repeatedly apologized for unloading on him and his response was Hey, the best way to make a new friend is to just listen. Im listening. Then he quoted Rumi! Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise again. A reminder that was very much needed in that moment. The warranty for the transmission is only good at the shop it was originally fixed at. So after I explained the whole situation, Courtney said he would call the shop and advocate for me and make sure they got the job done right. That was enough for me, I was so grateful for the gesture and I thought that was the end of it. But then! a few hours later Courtney called me back and said he was on his way to me. He said he was just going to look at everything to see if he could figure out what was causing the issue. He came out, looked everything over and had my vehicle up and running in no time. He followed me back to my neighborhood to make sure I got there safely and double checked that everything was running smoothly. He even oiled all my doors for me since they were sticking probably due to moisture build up. Didnt charge me a dime for any of it. Just your good ole acts of kindness and service. I usually dont write reviews, let alone novels like this one but I just had to share this experience with the internet world. I am so so grateful to know there are people like Courtney in this world. We called a few times, no call back. Finally got ahold of them. They said to text address and they would be here monday and to leave our key in car just in case we wouldnt be here. We were home all day waiting and also called a few times and texted . no one answered or replied. Communication is key and it wasnt there at all. this would have been a pricey job to have done and definitely would have not turned out to well considering there was absolutely no communication.

Courtney (who w/his son) is Mobile PDX, saved the day today-Sunday!!!- for two dear friends of mine who were visiting from Bellingham. They drove down yesterday to see a concert and had to be home tonight for an early work thing tomorrow morning. They started up their car at 1:30pm for their ride home. The car overheated and could not be driven.We called Courtney who was here at 2. Courtney was diligent and worked w/enormous attention to detail for the next 6.5 hours. He diagnosed the problem, disassembled the car, went to 2 different part stores to get what was needed, reassembled the car, and took it for a hard test drive to get my friends on the road back to B-ham at 8:30pm. Courtney is thorough and meticulous. He pulled out a miracle today and after working 6 hours on a Sunday took the car on a half hour test drive to ensure my friends peace of mind for their drive back to B-ham.I am going to use Courtney for my own car from here on out. MobilePDX was recommended to me by a friend of mine who owns a service business and has a fleet of trucks that Courtney works on. I trust my friend and gave Courtney a call.I own an IT company and can tell you anything you want to know about computers but when it comes to cars I know next to nothing so it was very important to me to find someone I could trust and values customer service the way I do in my own business.Id been chasing an oil leak in my Yukon for several months and had multiple shops work on it, costing me literally nearly $1000 yet the leak remained. Courtney came to my house, took a look at my rig, and honestly advised me on what I should do. My truck has nearly 200,000 miles on it so Courtney recommended replacing several parts that were going to be exposed during the course of the gaskets being changed and the way he explained it made perfect sense to me. He was also perfectly fine with me sourcing the parts on my own and even helped me when I had questions ordering them.Once the parts arrived, he made an appointment and got to work. All in all he spent many hours replacing most of the top end of the engine including the intake manifold, all gaskets, knock sensors, etc etc.The price he charged me was fair and at no time did I ever feel like unnecessary work was being done. At one point I had to run out and get a part to replace one I had ordered by mistake and he even called the parts store and let me take advantage of his company discount.My truck has not run this good since I purchased it nearly 8 years and 70,000 miles ago. Mobile PDX is my new go to and with them by my side there is no reason why my trusty and beloved Yukon wont cross the 400,000 mile markThanks!!!

One thing I will say is that these guys will quote you fair prices. However, they started working on my car before fully diagnosing the problem(s) with it, and were at least an hour late to both of the appointments that we had. My plan was to sell my car if it was to expensive to fix so them not telling me everything that was wrong with it was problematic. After communicating that, he agreed to come look at the problem that was ignored, and never came. To be fair he did agree to come in on a Saturday, but I was stuck at home all day since he “couldn’t give me a time” for when he was going to come in. In all, I wouldn’t work with them again, but I really appreciated the fair pricing.

Knowledgeable, timely, friendly service at a reasonable price. Courtney and company are accommodating of my priorities on a somewhat unique project that required intervention by an experienced mechanic four times: 1. Diagnosing and estimate to get a 1989 Jeep XJ to start/move after I bought it in salvage condition where it had sat for over a year. 2. Successfully completing the work. 3. Diagnosing of systems for long-term. 4. Doing this work under time constraints. All in the convenience of my driveway and sometimes under adverse weather.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I had a dead battery in my Nissan 370Z that needing replacing. It would have been very expensive to get the car towed to a shop. Courtney was able to fit me within a few days (5:00 PM on a Friday)! He did diagnostics to make sure the battery actually needed replacing and not just a boost. He very courteously walked me through everything and gave excellent advice to avoid this problem in the future and keep my rarely driven car in top shape. His son, Lou, was also delightful. Great guys!

Courtney was beyond helpful!! I had left my car sitting while I was out of the country (with some bad advice about how much care it required) and it was in pretty bad shape when I got back. He went over the issues on the car and provided me with a breakdown of the things he looked at and even took questions over the next couple of days as I thought about things.
