Josh helped me find the perfect carpet (and padding! Thats the important part!) for my home & Im just counting the days until its installed.I spent 2 months dealing with a big box store & kept hitting walls with errors regarding pricing & measurements. Josh not only helped me pick out higher-quality carpet & padding than I was previously considering, but recommended a list of installers to choose from -- in the end I paid less money than the biggest sale at the big box store for a much better product.

I’m a busy remodeler, and I’ve been using Area Floors to buy all our tile and flooring for over three years…and that’s three years without any issues. I work with Michelle in Tigard (moving to Lake O), and Benie in Clackamas. I meet my clients in one of their showrooms, and we have fun picking out tile and flooring. (Our remodels tend to be more uniquely stylized, nothing formulaic.) All showroom staff at Area Floors are knowledge of the different flooring types (wood, LVT, sheet vinyl, and carpeting), and they always help guide us to our final choices based on budget, room, style and expected wear & tear. I can’t count how many orders I’ve placed through Area Floors (a lot!), and they’re always prompt and accurate at ordering our materials, and good at communicating due dates. Their warehouse is a huge added bonus, and the guys working the warehouse are also good communicators. It’s all good with Area Floors!

I went to five tile supply stores in the Portland area and left each one frustrated and overwhelmed by the choices and the lack of information that staff members could offer. On a whim, I stopped at Area Floors (only a mile from my house!) and got lucky that Lisa Berry was working that day. Though clearly busy with calls and other customers, she listened to what my project entailed and pulled out sample boards from multiple suppliers, offering insights as to what each brand was known for or timing issues that come into play with lead times. We recently had to have our entire shower replaced, and we went to Area Floors to purchase the tile. Kelsey was professional, knowledgeable and above all else helpful.We had to switch contractors mid-way through the process. On a Saturday, Kelsey helped to recommend a great contractor, who was able to get a crew on our job within a few days, and finish our custom shower on time.If it wasnt for Area Floors, wed still have a demod shower. While they sell tile, carpet, and other flooring, they had the expertise to go above and beyond and make sure our experience was outstanding. As far as Im concerned, theyre the best in the business.
