I was shopping for a sillcock after a hard frost this past winter completely seized up one of them.Finding the exact dimensions for this particular wasn’t easy.And in fact out of all the hardware stores in the entire area only Lake Oswego Ace Hardware had it in stock!It was super-easy to order it on the app.Being located in the heart of beautiful LO, the store is easy to find and has ample parking.The service reps are incredibly friendly and helpful.What a great overall experience!

Beautiful store, larger than most Ive seen. Staff was friendly and informed on their products. Im not sure if the person who was Up selling their air purifier was just extremely excited about the product or is paid so much for commission that he thought I might make enough money to spend 200 dollars on a whim after already spending 70 dollars just on a fan.

I have been here many times. What I like most about it is there is a knowledgeable staff, who have lots of helpful suggestions on how to solve common DIY home project challenges. Theyre always friendly and polite.

Lots of everything, very helpful staff. Great selection of Craftsman tools. Almost everything the home handyman needs in one convenient location. The traffic signals make it much easier to get into and out of the parking lot.

Well stocked, conveniently located with plenty of parking, they have tools, hardware, paint, gardening and homeowner supplies. They we the only place that I could a replacement handle for my garden (spade) fork. If you are a builder, grow to Home Depot, but if you are a homeowner, check out Ace Hardware.

They always are helpful finding everything Im looking for.

They will likely have what you need. An amazing amount of stuff in such a compact location. And there are actually plenty of friendly staff to help you find it.

Friendly neighborhood hardware store with the best selection of nuts, bolts, and all other Metric and Standard fasteners. It is clean and they wear masks properly. Good selection of paints and stains as well. Can be slightly more expensive than the big box stores, but it is way more convenient and local (and if I just need two bolts, I only pay a few dimes for each as opposed to having to buy a box of 20 from the other guys)!

Five stars for customer service. Staff is well trained and knowledgeable. Ive asked some extremely esoteric questions and been pleasantly surprised that they had answers. The only reason I dont give this a 5-star rating is that their pricing does reflect the amount of training that they give their employees. If you know exactly what you need a big box store is going to be cheaper, but if you have any questions and are worried about getting the right items for your project, I think that the slight price premium is more than Justified by the customer service and knowledge that you will get from their employees. Getting the wrong materials costs time and money. I try to buy from them whenever I have any questions because I want to support their business model. They pay their employees more and retain them longer. As a customer I feel that I am the beneficiary of that experience and it has monetary value.

This will become my goto hardware store. My daughter recently moved to Lake Oswego, and needed a few items for her apartment. I also decided to create a little toolkit for her. Never know when you’ll need it. I’d been here before several years ago and remembered it being quite a bit smaller and in a slightly different location. I was shocked at how nice and well stocked this place is. I think we went back nearly a half dozen times for all kinds of stuff. Even my daughter who has no love for hardware stores is putting this one at the top of the list. Not only do they stock darn near everything, they are the nicest people as well.

Thank goodness they are where they are. We go about once a week. Its much easier then running to a larger chain store

Excellent customer service, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very helpful if you are tackling a project that you are not experienced with and need a little help. Keep in mind that you pay for that customer service with prices that are a little higher than a big box store, but you are less likely to leave with the wrong part or materials and that saves time and money.

Excellent selection of nuts, bolts, small hardware and electrical. Never a long wait in line to check out. Always call for back up.The downside is Ace brand products are far inferior than brand-name. Batteries, painting tape, and garden tools are examples of cheap look a likes that lack the qualities of known brands.There is a perfect opportunity for Ace to expand due to the new construction in the shopping center. during their last remodel they have made the isles extremely narrow and very hard to navigate when the store is busy.

Store and employees are helpful and friendly. Don’t bother with the ACE Rewards program. Typical Read the FINE print offers that exclude many items regardless of how much you spend. The national program paints local employees into a tough spot having to enforce these bait and switch marketing programs.

Ive been a longtime customer of Ace Hardware stores from here to back home in Alabama. While Ive always enjoyed my experiences at any Ace, this one is by far the best in customer service. Everyone on staff is incredibly attentive without being over-the-top. They go out of their way to be as helpful and informative as they can. I also noticed how well they all get along and work together--I always look forward to popping in because of the customer service alone, it will really cheer you up! The store selection is so great, too. Many smaller hardware stores just dont quite have what you need so you still find yourself begrudgingly driving to a bigger store like Home Depot or Lowes anyway. That is not the case here. They are well-stocked with everything you could need and somehow theyve managed to keep their prices reasonable, which I cant say about many other Ace stores Ive been to, paying for the convenience. This location definitely lives up to its slogan - Lake Oswego Ace is THE place is with the helpful hardware folks (hehe)

Great service. Knowledgeable help. Broad product range. I purchased a water pump, hammer, and various household cleaning products. In some instances, the price I paid was a little more than what I would find at a discount place but the service, choice, and the easy layout of the store makes it worth it. The sales associate have me excellent advice on what I needed to get my water feature going again and actually discouraged me from purchasing new replacement parts and suggested how to work with what I had, contrary to what another vendor had said. My feature works great. Cannot recommend Ace more.

Somehow, in a space that is probably less than a tenth the size of a big box home improvement store, these guys always seem to have what I need at a really fair price and with excellent friendly service! No, you won’t find appliances, lumber or flooring here but if you are looking for most other things you would find in a traditional hardware store, along with an assortment of items meant to surprise and delight, then spread the wealth and support a great local business.

Ace is by far the best store in Lake Oswego! Where most stores in town are a bit too foo-foo and fancy schmancy, Ace is great for us common folks! The employees are all extremely helpful and friendly! Ace is the place!!

Small in square feet but big in selection, this ACE has as every tool for every reasonable project (plus a great selection of practical, fun, and vintage gifts). Staff member Josh is fantastic — he always comes to the rescue when I can’t find or dont know what I’m looking for. He is friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and patient. On the rare occasion Josh doesn’t have an answer, he helps me find a solution. I enjoy shopping at ACE Hardware in LO because its stocked with everything I need and I look forward to familiar faces. Hands-down favorite hardware store, ever.

They have almost everything..

Its along the way, and a little out of the way. Lots of stuff and cheery help. Dont ignore the thing you didnt now existed, but now must have on the aisle to the checkout. Sometime take the time to get a cart and head strait to the back corner and go up every aisle on the way to the front. I like it.

Ive been shopping here regularly for the past 5 years, as my house is right up the street. They are generally more helpful and knowledgeable than employees at Lowes or Home Depot, and believe it or not, they often have some misc part I need that I couldnt find at the big stores. This is especially true with nut and bolt hardware; Aces selection is fantastic for such a small store. The downside is that prices are generally higher than the bigger stores, so I wouldnt necessarily shop here if I needed big ticket or items in great quantity. However, for quick around-the-corner trips, this Ace is definitely the place.

We were shopping at this store this afternoon. We made a small purchase. The item had a price tag of 2.79 on it. We were charged 4.49 because that is what the rang up in the system. My wife asked to see the receipt when we left. She noticed the difference. We went back in and asked the cashier about the difference. He called John who told us the item must have been returned from another store because they dont use the blue Ace Hardware price tag. There was no attempt to make the purchase correct. Over $1.81 this store has lost a customer. We just wanted to pay what it was tagged. How are we to know that they dont use blue Ace Hardware price tags.

Ace Hardware is a throwback to the era of a neigjborhood hardware store where you could find anything you need. There are always plenty of employees available to help answer questions or find an item hidden away on a shelf. Sometimes checking out takes some time due to a line at the registers.

Very helpful staff and a very convenient location with plenty of parking. Prices reflect the same as if you were to spend on gas driving to a major hardware store where the staff are not as skilled.

Almost anything you need is here. Staff are friendly and know the store and the merchandise. The paint department carries Benjamin Moore and gives good advice on color and technique.

The staff is very helpful. Also the store is very clean and laid out in an orderly way. On this particular trip they did not have what I was looking for. The thing is that it was something in the Ace Hardware advertisement so that was very frustrating. Usually they do have what you expect however, even though it is a small store.

Personal Service and lots of screws and bolts of all sizes available individually. Easier to deal with than the big stores.

When I first walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed any help, which I appreciated. Minutes later when I needed to ask about bolt types, I was waived off by the manager (who was in some kind of hurry), and told that someone would come over to help me out. No one came, and it seemed that most of the employees spent their time chatting it up in the front of the store. Stores like this cant compete with superstores on selection and price; customer service and convenience is the only leg they have to stand on. If they cant at least offer that, they will be put out of business, plain and simple.

The people here are super nice and have great customer service skills.

I know it sounds cliche, but ace really is the helpful place. Everyone in the store is knowledgeable and will take the time to f8nd the right product for your project, or theyll leave you alone if thats what you prefer.
