After reading reviews, I went to AAMCO to have my F150 scanned to check for any problems with my truck. However, I am very disappointed and upset with the customer service I received while there. Upon arriving at the store, I spoke with Roger who told me that he could scan the truck, and it would be free, so I had it done. I had no issue with Roger at first, until he refused to let me stand outside with him while he was scanning my truck, which I found odd given the fact any other service place I have had scan my truck have let me stand with them. He was not doing any work to the truck itself, only scanning it. Although it made me uncomfortable, I abided by his wishes, and stayed inside. After he finished the scan, he refused to let me see the report and said that it was just for him and that I wouldn’t be able to view it. Under my understanding, I was supposed to receive a printed copy, which he refused to give and told me I needed to pay him $20 if I wanted the report. After I told him I only had a credit card with me and no cash, he got visibly upset and decided to give me the printed report because he “didn’t want another person causing a scene”. I am very disgusted with my experience at AAMCO and would not recommend their services to anyone by any means. If Roger, the owner of the store, acts like this, I cannot imagine he holds his employees to any higher of standards. Ridiculous. I was mislead by the great reviews, and hope that anyone looking to get work done by them takes a different route.

Amazing service ! Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. I’ve been there twice now, and will continue to go back. They got my car fixed very quickly, and they kept in contact with me the whole time. They definitely go above and beyond to help and I was very satisfied with my experience with them. Great place!

I went in seeking help with a professional battery install. After they looked at my car, they said yes they would do it. I was then invited in to sit down in the a/c while the tech switched out my battery. I felt like I was being treated like family. I would definitely recommend this place for car repairs. I was in Stuart Florida when Fred rolled through on Friday the 13th and I had to swim home in my Ford Explorer. I called Lake Park Aamco Monday morning about changing fluid. They asked me what time was good for me. I said Tuesday morning. They said fine, bring it in. I’ve driven about 800 miles since the work was done, everything is good. Roger is a super nice guy. Knowledgeable. I felt I was in good hands. Very professional and very personable, a great combination. I will be back. I’m glad I chose Lake Park AAMCO. I expect you will be too.

My first visit I brought in a high mileage vehicle with a third party extended warranty. Before going to Aamco in Lake Park I brought the vehicle to two other mechanics, one who could not work with the third party warranty company and another that I think miss diagnosed the vehicle. The owner and crew at Lake Park Aamco not only perfectly diagnosed and repaired the vehicle, but they were able to work with the warranty company and provided tip top customer service. I have been a long time Aamco customer in multiple states, they are not always equal. Lake Park Aamco is probably the best Ive been to. I would recommend them to anyone. When the unfortunate time comes that I need additional vehicle repairs they will be my first call.

Today was my first visit to this AAMCO and Roger and his team were great. Very friendly and professional. They kept my Jeep clean too which I appreciate. No grease prints on anything.Ill definitely bring it back if in need of repair.

Charged for services that were not performed. Took to another shop immediately afterward. Will have to pursue a refund. Had more gas in my tank than I did when vehicle was returned. Front tires were bald as well and they were not before. Also have a dent in the back that was not there before hand.Take photos of your vehicle and ask for old parts if they say something was replaced.This place is fraudulent.

Very happy with the work they did with my 2012 Jeep Wrangler, they were very professional and informative.Over all good people.

I bought a low mileage older car (2005 Audi A4 39,000mi) a few weeks prior to it breaking down suddenly (made horrific sounds, but never stopped running). The mechanic (& 2 other locals we knew) wouldn’t touch it and considered it ready for the junkyard. AAA towed it to the AAMCO in Lake Park & it was smooth sailing from there. Roger & Maria treated me like a normal human being (I’m aware it’s a little crazy to buy a 2005 car), did the job for less than they could’ve charged, and had a great attitude about everything. I have a (well meaning) friend who bugged them quite a bit so it had to be frustrating. The car’s been running perfectly and I can’t recommend them more highly. Transmissions are complicated and sometimes you have to leave it to the specialists.

Had serious timing belt issues with my Ford Expedition, and Rick, the manager, was simply awesome. He explained everything that the mechanics were doing and sent me pictures as well. I would stop by the shop, and Rick graciously brought me back to the car to explain and show me what was going on. They had some concerns of their own and he was not willing to return my car to me without it being 100%. I had a rental a bit longer than expected so he even fixed the front AC which had been out at no charge. I highly recommend giving Rick a call if you need any work done on your vehicle. He and his crew will take care of you.

Ralph and the other fellows over there are great people to deal with. They are honest, fair and professional. Great work on replacing my truck’s a/c and replacing the rear differential gears. Fully recommended.

I had a excellent experience with the staff and services at AAMCO. I just bought a used truck and was unaware of the many issues it had. I brought it to the AAMCO and there were able to quickly diagnose my problem and fixed it corrected them within a reasonable time frame. The customer service is exceptional and the communication between staff and customer is strong. I speck with a man by the name Ralphie who really went the extra mile for me. Something that stands out to me about this place is they stand behind there work. I know if i have any issues with the work they did in there shop they will make it right with no charge to me. Ive had my transmission rebuilt here over 2 years ago on my pathfinder, and recently Ive brought my sons car here to replace the oil pan and brought my pathfinder back for full overhaul in the suspension, shocks. I worked with them over the course of a few weeks. The entire time they were really professional, friendly, and, most importantly, honest and upfront with me. I personally worked with Ralphy but the other guys who I met and who worked on my car were really friendly and efficient.

This place reminds me of that good old fashion repair shop with honest workers. I waited a week or two later to do this review just to make sure the quality of work was up to par. I have had a brake job done there before and recently Rick and Fernando (Felipe) was able to trouble shoot my A/C with decreasing the amount of refrigerant. A/C is nice and cold. I’ll be returning for some more repair work 👍🏾👍🏾

They took forever to fix my car. I finally got it back 700.00 turned into 1500! My car had a film of oil and dirt so heavy it took three washes to semi clean it. And they were supposed to follow up with a quote and never did. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!!!!!! ALREADY MAKING NOISES!!

Roger and his staff are very professional, friendly and efficient. I came in with a bunch of codes on my Honda thinking I had all kinds of problems and the bill was going to be thru the roof. Well, Fernando and Ralphie looked at my car, fixed what needed to be fixed and I was in and out in a couple of hours. My jeeps axle had a leak...upon investigating it ended up being a bigger job than expected. I chose aamco because of proximity and the positive reviews on Google. Ralph took good care of the jeep. Last night I wrote a very angry review before I found out what was going wrong with my car. After my brother told me it was the radiator and that it had nothing to do with the work that was just done I was relieved. Over the past three years I’ve been experiencing for slipping and chattering in my transmission on my 2015 Hyundai sonata Eco. It has a dual clutch transmission. I’ve taken it to two different Hyundai dealerships they claim there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and that’s the way it supposed to operate. They claimed they could not duplicate the problems that I was concerned about. I decided to take it to AAMCO transmissions in Lake Park where I discussed the problems with Ralphie the owner. He said he was familiar with the problems. It toook 2 weeks to complete the work while waiting for special parts and special tools to complete the work. During this process Roger kept me informed on a daily basis on the progress. I picked up my vehicle today so far it seems to be running smoother than the day I bought it.Not only are Ralphie and Roger professionals they are very polite and a pleasure to do business with. There was no BS like I received from the two Hyundai dealerships. Research on the duel clutch transmission for the Hyundai sonata Eco I found out that there is a class action suit against Hyundai. If you ever need transmission work or any other work that needs to be done I would highly recommend them. They are a full service shop. They are located right off of N. Lake Blvd. and 10th st. In Lake Park. Again I would like to thank Ralphi and Roger and the crew for the great work. I don’t know why the review gave it 4.6 stars when we should’ve given it five stars.

Taking our 1994 GMC Suburban to aamco was the BEST decision we could have made. Our transmission in our Suburban was giving out on my husband and I and we were stuck and didn’t know what to do. We call aamco and spoke to a gentleman named Ralph. Ralph was very pleasant and informative over the phone. We explained our situation to Ralph and he advised us that he could have our problems fixed in a jiffy. We were advised that the transmission needed to be rebuild. Ralph in the guys at aamco charged us a very responsible price to rebuild our transmission and they Also fixed a few oil seals. The service at aamco is outstanding customer service and great quality work. Did I mention that our transmission was rebuilt within 3 days per our request. Ralph and the guys at aamco even stayed hours passed closing on Christmas Eve so that we could have our Suburban just in time for the holidays. I would highly recommend aamco of Lake Park FL. I had never had any major work on my 2012 Nissan Altima until my A/C stopped working about a year ago. I searched for a recommended shop and came across AAMCO LAKE PARK. I brought my car in and it was repaired in one day at a reasonable cost. Ralph was extremely clear in his explanation of the work to be done and the cost. And was very pleasant to deal with. In fact, I told my wife about his pleasant manner. So when it came time to have extensive maintenance done at 72,000 miles, I told my wife I was going back to see Ralph. She said Is that the guy who was so pleasant before? It is, and he was the same this time, and the work and cost were of the same high quality. My husband and i brought our expedition in with a lot of problems. Upon telling us that our transmission is bad he told us the price and at first my husband was just gonna bring the vehicle home. Upon hearing that and their knowledge of us just having a baby they dropped the price considerably and added an oil change to the process!!!! Ralph and The store owner then worked with my husband determined we would get our vehicle fixed they made sure he walked out with a loan to get the repairs done! they even called to show him the transmission so he could see it for himself to make sure he knew they were being honest! THAT is A MAJOR PLUS! Upon fixing our transmission they saw we had bad hoses and fixed it for us no charge, they also saw we had a bad water pump and before they made a repair they called my husband to let him know the problem and to get a go ahead on repairing it! The water pump they sold to us was very cheap! upon fixing that they found a hole in radiator, they saved it called him asked him if he wanted to look at it etc, then they said they understood our situation and theyd waive labor and give to us at cost.Honestly this is the best shop ever. Most amazing people! They do great work and have such big hearts💖💖💖 Very honest shop. They are very communicative they will call every step of the way and also explain everything clearly. They do amazing work!

This shop used to be good. The new manager (I dont want to call out any names) 1) never called me back when he said he would which includes 5 times over the 3 days, 2) did not produce not 1 of 3 estimates that he said he would in phone conversations and in person on separate days, 3) always is too busy (today he said hes a busy man when I told him he never calls back ...heck I personally believe were all busy!), 4) told me that my car drips oil, when it doesnt it 5) did not fix my car on the day I took it and during the 8.5 hours the car was at the shop, but he did charge me a $95 diagnostic fee 6) did something to my brakes, since they were softer when I left the shop - even my wife noticed this without my saying anything to her. I mentioned this to the mechanic before driving away and he said he did nothing to affect the brakes performance. A part was supposed to be ordered for an appointment tomorrows appointment, but no one ever contacted me on the price of the part, the estimate for the work, or to confirm the appointment as the manager said he would. Something is not right here! You have deliver sometime. Not just take peoples money and not complete the work you said you would. I took a whole day off work, which I mentioned in 3 of my conversations with the manager and the mechanic. I only needed to repair my master brake cylinder. The manger said that the work takes 1.5 to 1.6 hours to do. I have been a customer of AAMCO since July 2012 and have had 2 successful repair visits. But my last visit with the new manager was a DISASTER!

I took both my Audi and Mercedes in for service and I was very impressed with the level of knowledge they had about both cars. I was completely satisfied by the job they did and the price was far below what a dealer would have charged. The technician I spoke to knew a great deal about my diesel Audi and gave me maintenance tips. They were very professional and Ill be back.

If you ever need work done to your car or have an issue with it take it to JAY! He was straight forward and upfront about everything. No extra sales pitch. My cars alternator (2011 Hyundai Genesis) went bad driving up to Orlando. Jay was there when I pulled into the lot and helped me from the minute i walked in the door. They ordered the part for me and even stayed on Saturday past their business hours to get my car back up and running. These guys are honest people and will never try to screw you over. They are more in the business of keeping you coming back due to the excellent service they provide than making a few extra dollars off of you and never seeing you again. DO NOT HESITATE! GO SEE JAY!

On the way to AAMCO my car died before I made it, they sent someone to help and make sure I made it to the shop okay. They fixed my car in a timely manner and the employees were great! The prices were affordable and they didnt try to sell me more than I needed. Definitely recommend!!

Very professional and at the same time a very personal experience. Ralph and his team went above and beyond to help me out and came through. The most relieving point about this particular Aamco was not the low prices, or the professionalism, or even the efficiency of the work. It was that they kept their word and were honest. 9 out of 10 places with try to get you to fix the Unicorn that is making your engine rattle and that you need to drop $1000 for Unicorn food to keep it happy. Not Ralph. Ralph was straight, real, and down to earth. I definitely lucked out with them!

MY Cadillac CTS was not going into gear properly. They took it for a test drive then put up on lift. I was told only need to tighten up shift selector cable. They tighten it for me for no charge!!!! Awesome Customer service!!!!!

I should have posted a review before now about the Lake Park Aamco. I have a 2004 GMC 2500HD Diesel. I started bringing the truck in to be serviced by these guys for minor and major work a little over 4 years ago when my daughter was driving the truck and there the only ones that I will have touch my truck. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest people, great mechanics and a fair price. This is the only place I trust, and Ive lived here for 51 years!!!

Went back in for future service. NIGHTMARE! Seeking new place that does not rip you off. Every repair I had to bring vehicle back in a get redone.

Highly recommend AAMCO in Lake Park, FL for repairs needed. Ralph, and the guys are excellent. Ralph presented great customer service, as well fair, and honest. My car was fixed in a timely manner.

I had an excellent experience at this location. I called here in desperation my car broke down on the Florida turnpike and CHARLIE was honest and very well spoken, he promised me a tow truck driver would pick me up and she did ! Within 20 minutes .Charlie and his staff informed me of the issue with my car with such care, and very informational . Im not from Florida so when I decided to transfer my car from his lot to NYC he let me do so FREE OF CHARGE ..Sean and Charlie were the best customer service I ever received from aamco & they kept their promise so if anyone needs their car fixed or a tow please come here !!! 👌👌👌👌👌🙏

Second time at this AAMCO and they have been really great and very professional every time. I have walked away each time and know the work was needed and charged correctly. I like the honesty!

Thought I had a major transmission problem only to find that it was 4 bad coils and needed new plugs. Didnt think this would have been the problem due to replacing the coils and plugs 14 months ago at a different shop. Aamco put in Ford Motor Craft parts as well as a routine transmission service. Its only been 2 days now, but so far so good. Nice smooth shifts!!!! Thanks to all the technicians who worked on my Expedition and to Ralph!

Had a great experience with great guys at Aamco Lake Park.. Car Broke down in Orlando on a Saturday. Shop closed at noon, Troy still being on site after hours went out of his way to help the tow truck driver get my car off the truck. Being a women and always afraid of being ripped off. They called and kept my posted on all issues and got my car up and running very quickly. Very Pleased and relieved to find someone trust worthy .Thank you Lee and your whole staff..

The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. Service was fast and the cost was reasonable. My car was ready when they told me. They even dropped me off and picked me up. My 2005 Honda Accord was repaired with no problems. Thanks to John and the whole staff.
