I recently signed up for a maintenance plan with EDS Air Conditioning. I was extremely impressed throughout the whole process. The prices were reasonable, they were extremely helpful with explaining the different plans, painless process to sign up, and they were extremely professionally when they came to do the maintenance. They showed up on time and even sent a profile via text of the person who was arriving so we knew who to expect. Extremely impressed with the professionalism and customer service!

Austin with EDS was immediately responsive when I placed an emergency call because the AC unit powering my children’s bedrooms had quit at 6pm. He called me directly within 10 minutes of me placing a call, let me know where he was in and when he would arrive. He got straight to work and stayed for nearly 2 hours flushing out the lines and going above and beyond running diagnostics to make sure everything was working as it should be. Amazing tech and business - highly recommend

These guys are the best of the best. I bought a house with an older unit and they have brought it back to life. Their service technicians are knowledgeable and friendly, they come within hours of your call, and their prices are fair. This evening Jonathan and Eric took their time to assess the issue with my unit leaking and had it running at full strength within the hour. Highly recommended.

Second time using E.D.S. and will certainly continue using them! Not only was I able to get same day service, but the technician David Mullin and helper Danny were terrific! They arrived on time and were extremely courteous, pleasant and professional. The problem was solved in a knowledgeable and timely fashion and I was afforded a detailed explanation of the work performed. E.D.S. is fortunate to have these guys on staff.....GREAT JOB!!!

This company is awesome! I received a text just prior to the Sean’s arrival! Gave me a little bio on him and his photo! Never had any company do this. A short while later I received a call from Sean telling me he was at the front gait and would be here in a couple of minutes. He was very personable and knowledgeable...explained what he would be doing and said it should take about a half hour. He finished up and said everything looked good, he asked me if I had any questions or concerns and departed. A very pleasant experience! I recommend this company and Sean very highly!

EDS is great to begin with. We had to do an after normal business hours call due to problems with our AC system. They were very responsive. I was lost, but now Im found. The vents and ducts for my clothes dryer and bathroom fans were nowhere to be found. In other words, they were barely installed...improperly.I called for several estimates and referrals. Fate sent me to EDS. Don was the project manager who came out to assess my problems and estimate my solutions. He and they were both professional and reasonable. Don put me on a fast track and the work was scheduled within a few days.Don arrived with his team, Ian and William. Don advised the team and then left them to do the job. Ian and William went straight to work and within a few short hours they were done. They explained what they accomplished and showed me pictures of their work. I was more than satisfied with all elements of EDSs service and professionalism.My vents were lost, but now theyre found. Amen.

I was very please with the service provided by Eric Burgos. He arrived on time after a courtesy call and was very polite and respectful. I used EDS for my home and for several rental properties I own in Lake Worth. It seems that their maintenance people must be on commission. Every time there was a small problem, the answer was always that we needed a whole new system for $5,000. A few months ago we had a small problem. The maintenance person told us we would be lucky if the system lasted over the weekend and that we needed to replace the coil (read several thousand dollars) immediately.We called a new company for a second opinion. They said nothing was wrong- there was no leak in the coils. Meanwhile the system has been working fine for the past three months. I do not trust these people.

Got a new HVAC system in June 2019. The unit was defective. A year later in 2020 had parts replace. Now January 2021 thermostat is done. Why do they have bad units and why are they installing it in people’s home? Then of course is days or weeks to have them come out. I am so disappointed in this company as they had good reviews. Will never recommend them and will tell people to stay away from them. That is not Normal for a brand new unit, parts and thermostat to break each consecutive year after being installed.

I must give a huge thank you to this company and to the tech’s Austin and Ian who came to my house to replace my air conditioner.These guys really went beyond to make sure the job was completed in a timely manner. They arrived at 8:00 am did not leave until 12:30 am. I must say this was a long day! EDS has gained a customer for life! I will refer them to all my friends and family. I called at 3pm Sunday afternoon to say my a/c was blowing hot air and my house was 98 degrees inside. I was told someone would be here between 6 & 9pm. Sean called before 4 and said hed be here in 5 minutes and he was.He went on the roof, diagnosed my a/c needed a capacitor. And by 5:05pm he was finished and on his way to his next service call.The whole time he was here he was so professional and courteous.I will not hesitate to call E.D.S again if I ever need any of their other services and HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. In a panic with no a/c and the weather at 100 degrees, I called E.D.S. on a Friday night, and they immediately called me back. The next morning they came out as promised, had a quote and a work order by 1:00 p.m. and a new a/c installed within a few days. With a 15 year old unit, a replacement was the only real choice for me. They even gave me a portable unit to keep the bedroom liveable, at no extra charge. Everyone was super, prices fair and worked with me to make this experience perfect the whole way. From the tech, to the installers, to the office - WOW is all I can say. Would recommend them without a second thought. Thank you to all.

Finally found a company that is reliable, super knowledgeable, and detailed with great pricing! Cody came out and ran a diagnostic check on our AC and replaced a broken UV light in our air handler. Not only did he have the part he needed to fix it (they’re sold out everywhere!) but he explained it all to me and was very thorough! Kept in touch with me throughout the day so I knew exactly when to expect him and was very easy to get in touch with. Very happy with Cody and EDS air conditioning!

I called EDS for an emergency call for our AC unit as our handler was dripping water into the overflow pan. They were quick to sending a tech out the same day. So I went ahead and forked out $220 for an emergency weekend visit (although other companies were as low as $125 but just did not have anyone available to come out). Eric was here for 5 minutes before determining the thermostat was faulty. He brought in 2 options, one $450 and the wifi one $500. Are you kidding me? So I basically paid $220 to drive to home depot and buy one for $35. Highway robbery! Now I know why they were available and everyone else was not.

I have to give a huge thank you to this company and to the tech Nicholas who came to my house to fix my air conditioner. First of all my ac broke and I know everyone knows how miserable it can be. Over the weekend I was without air-conditioning because I had to wait until Monday so they could get the parts through the warranty. It wasn’t the best weekend being that I didn’t have Ac and I’m stuck in the house due to COVID-19. So you can imagine I was really edgy. However they really went above and beyond to fix everything in a timely manner. I’m not going to get into all the specifics but there was a little bump in the road but they fixed everything 100% and what they did for me will keep me a customer for life! I will definitely refer them to all my friends and family. I also own an insurance agency specializing in home and auto insurance. David Mullin came for my scheduled bi annual service. He has been here before and I was glad to see him again. Diagnosed the system and found the unit was not cooling at peak efficiency. Replaced the the expansion valve and drier. Cleaned out the drain line and actually washed down the outside unit. Covered under warranty. Who goes to this length nowadays? What a pro! LOVE EDS!

I called E.D.S to take a look at my A/C unit after it froze over. Steve came by and let me know exactly what he thought was going on and what my options were. He cleaned my outside coils and topped off my refrigerant. The company texts and emails you a photo and bio of the technician that is coming to your house prior to them arriving which I thought was a nice use of technology.

Very responsive and straight to the issue. In my case, by breaker switch was so old that it would not stay in on position but I could not have found that myself. Quick trip to home depot and I was able to replace the switch myself with some guidance from the EDS tech on the phone after he left. Very efficient.

We hope our experience will help you make up your own mind:EDS apparently set off the fire sprinklers in the condo unit above ours in the process of installing an air conditioning unit, flooding both units in the process and displacing our tenant (including his wife and young child) over the holidays.They claimed they were going to stand by their obligations and make it right, but we feel they did not follow through. For example, while they understood they displaced our tenant and his family, they stopped coordinating and paying for the family’s hotel room while the condo was uninhabitable and being restored (a process we did our best to expedite for everyone’s benefit).EDS then stopped returning our calls or responding to our emails concerning what to do about our displaced tenant and his family. Instead, EDS punted and told the tenant he’d have to deal with their insurance company and bear the burden of paying for the hotel room himself in the interim.We feel that EDS acted unprofessionally and is a huge disappointment given their representations about making things right, especially insofar as we have been more than reasonable throughout the process. None of the higher ups ever responded to our written inquiries or even offered an apology. Not a single one.If this company won’t stand by its mistakes how can you expect them to stand by their work? Flashy slogans and marketing materials only go so far. Actions speak volumes.Seek out a company for which a high level of service and support is their creed, not just their slogan.P.S. One of the reviewers below with a glowing 5 star review, Mickie Melvin, is actually their employee and the same person we dealt with on the flood damage claim. Query how many other employees reviewed the company? How can you trust the reviews if employees are submitting comments disguised as customers?P.P.S. With respect to the companys response below, there are no excuses, just make it right. More importantly, the companys response is incomplete. The e-mail EDS quoted was sent on the second day they picked up the tab for the tenants hotel, which was after quite a bit of effort on our part to make sure they understood their responsibilities and took care of the tenant and his family. It was after the e-mail was sent that they refused to cover the tenants lodging anymore and refused to respond to our emails and calls. I suppose we were justified in getting animated with them the day before the email was sent because the very same thing we were concerned about - that they would shirk their responsibilities - actually came to pass.At least theyre being honest about the fact that they left everything to their insurer and washed their hands of the situation, which we feel is shirking their responsibilities without regard to the displaced tenants needs and the needs of his family. Its like saying, Hey, family rendered homeless, you pay for your own hotel! Covering your hotel and seeking reimbursement from our insurer ourselves is just too much to ask. Come on.They also appear to acknowledge that Ms. Melvin, one of their 5 star reviewers below, is actually their employee. This all seems a bit shady to us, but, again, you make up your own minds.

Needed anA/C drain cleaned other companies said they couldn’t do it because unit was on the roof. Called into EDS and the woman was so nice & understanding. She had someone in the area that was at my home within 30minutes. I received a text before Chris’s arrival with his photo & a little bit about his experience. He showed up with mask gloves and boot coverings which was very comforting to see as I work in healthcare. He talked to me about the work & had it completed within the hour. I highly recommend calling EDS before any other company.

Final Update: The service tech arrived as scheduled and fixed the mini-split under warranty. Currently the unit is at 100% and feel that the problem was solved. I appreciate the thorough job in finding and correcting the problem.have a mini-split AC for my garage and it was loosing freon and freezing up. $1500 to change a part and a 1 year warranty on the work. 1 year and 2 months its doing the same thing. So since I dont really use the system for cooling, Im stuck having to repair it again since its clear to me that it was not fixed the first time. Update, Blake contacted me regarding work on the split. I misunderstood the original CSR about the issue. My memory of the repair was less than perfect. However, we scheduled an appointment so that the unit can be looked at to see what the root cause is of the unit.

I have been working with EDS Air Conditioning for 3 years now. They installed my new unit & service it regularly. EVERY person I have dealt with in these 3 years have been super pleasant and this last experience did not disappoint either.I had some drainage issues with my unit and Raymond explained the problem & solution in a way that I could understand. He was also very funny and easy to talk. He cleared the drain and cleaned up the space quickly and efficiently. Feeling comfortable with the service man in my house is very important to me and feeling confident in the information he gives me is equally important. Raymond is a keeper!I also must give a shout out to Nancy in the office who is ALWAYS very helpful when I call for appointments. She is very patient, pleasant and goes out of her way ensure the best service is provided for me. I do feel like she has my best interest at heart and that means a lot.

The tech came for the semi annual inspection and while here noticed a tubing/piping problem which had been missed by other techs which explained backup of drain water. He had to leave twice to get supplies to make the repair properly and never complained a bit. He was interested in taking care of a problem he found, even though it took longer than expected. I think you want that in a tech.

I have used EDS air conditioning for at least 10 years. The bi-annual servicing is a great deal -- to keep me up to date on the state of my AC. In addition, when Ive had a problem (thermostat), EDA technicians respond quickly aned get me back to coolness very quickly. The office staff is also very good and easy to work with

I needed a new AC system so of course I got multiple quotes from different installers but I went with EDS because of price, the equipment offered, and professionalism. Im also surprised and pleased with the installers on the day of installation. They did a really good job and the installation was very clean. I recommend these guys for your AC need.

Ken was great knowledgeable he talked to me and he made sure I understand the problem also he very patient with me answered all my questions. I didnt have a clue about plumbing Im blind when he comes to backup all I can do is backup a car and not that good at that THANK YOU KEN and E.D.S 🚣 My new plumbing company. We needed someone to come out and look at our air conditioner when it stopped working. We were able to call EDS at 8:30 on a Thursday night, have someone actually pick up the phone to answer, and could have had a tech come out that night. We opted for the cheaper service call the next day, but nice to have the option. Our tech came out the next day and had our air running again in no time. Our unit is 13 years old so thought for sure we would be told we needed to buy a new one, but nope! Don was really nice and did what was needed. We will use them from now on!
