From the first phone call until the installers left Shutter Up was amazing! I would recommend this company to anyone who asks! Bobby was a friendly salesman, anytime I called the office Jessica was pleasant and very helpful, Tanya always kept me updated on my installation process. Mike and Ray were my installers and they did an Awesome job! Again I can’t say enough about Shutter Up Industries Inc!!

The wrong color window frames were installed. The refund I was initially quoted for the window frames that were installed was for less $ than what I was owed (I caught this and corrected it). The window handles had to be pushed back into place on a follow-up visit. The window handles were missing caps, and Josh came with the wrong size caps. The first work permit had the wrong address. Windows are a big expense and the customer should not have these many issues.

I decided to use Shutter Up to install my accordion shutters because they gave me the best quote when I was shopping around. The sales rep and the installers were very courteous and took the time to answer all my questions. The rep in the permitting dept made the whole process a breeze. She handled all communication with my HOA and the city. She also took care of the inspection scheduling complications that came up due to weather delays and kept me updated every step of the way.Overall, Im extremely satisfied with their work and professionalism and would be happy to use their services again.

Great company! Very professional. Installers were polite, very clean. I had a few questions about warranties and how to care for our new windows and they were very knowledgeable and helpful when I called. We had a demo when everything was installed which was great! Highly recommend!

Everyone raves about them so I gave thema call for quoting us for a range of storm protection. Rick gave me the most thorough visit of anyone that came by. Their prices are very reasonable and Im pretty sure that well be using them because of their range of products and how they conducted themselves on the phone and in person.

We called and asked for an estimate for hurricane impact windows for our whole house and then also ideas for our front door. We worked with Tim who was very fast at measuring the house but after two weeks and several calls we still have not gotten any reply or quote back from the company. I was finally able to get thru to Tim and he let me know that HE DID NOT EVEN DO THE ESTIMATE because the job wasnt big enough for him to make money! 12 windows! We will look for a local instead. Communication is non existent here.

I would highly recommended Shutter Up for anyone looking to upgrade their windows. I called and talked to Jay about what I was looking for and he came out right away to look at the house and give us an estimate. I was very impressed first that he was there 15 minutes before our appointment, than by how knowledgeable he was. From start to finish everything ran very smooth and the work came out so great. I love the way the house looks with the new windows and am so happy that I found this company to help my project run so smooth.

Our experience with Shutter Up was, overall, very good. They upgraded every single opening in our 3/2 home to bring everything up to current Florida hurricane code, which means they replaced or added protection for over 16 openings. The owner is very knowledgeable,his work crews are skilled and his pricing was very competitive. The only thing they need to tighten up on a little bit is in-house cleaning. (Clean up outside the house was fine!) Other than this, we are very pleased with how this large project went.

Call them out to lox for an estimate, guy shows up looks around an takes measurements. Nice guy, told him about how we have had other company in the same industry come out, take measurements an never get back to us. The guy says cant believe company’s would waste there time coming all the way out here to not give u an estimate. Well u prolly shouldn’t have said that big guy. Not only did u tell me that but I should have my estimate by him by the end of the week. 6 weeks later I’m still waiting on it. No calls, no emails, no communication what’s so ever. So I decide to call to let them no I’m going with another company. Now if ur thinking that there’s no way they r gonna come out for a few hundred dollars, ur rite. But our project jus a starting point was at 20k. That wasn’t including all the other work I had for them (I.e. replace old doors, replace garage door, put 3 new high end windows in, an replace all the bad screws for the shutter to be put up before season.). Again no call back. Lady on the phone couldn’t even get my name rite as she had jus asked for it a min or 2 ago. This company does not care about its customers, only there pockets if an when u can get a price on anything from them. DONT WASTE UR TIME HERE. Look for someone who will actually do there jobs.

We received our new shutters and it only took about one full day yo install 11 windows, 2 sliding glass doors and three regular doors. They look great, easy to operate and the two guys that installed them were very professional. Nicolas Sarraga and David Cruz explained how to maintain them so they will continue to be easy to close. I used Shutter Up Windows recently Jay and his team were very professional, when they did the windows on my house they worked quickly and didnt leave a mess which was my biggest concern. very good company! I will definitely refer them to my friends and family.

Inconsiderate scheduling, increased contracted price in order to finish the job, contracted out the installation, pushes window defects to manufacturer.On July 14, 2017, I signed a contract with Shutter Up Industries to install impact windows and gave them the down payment. They called me a week or so before Hurricane Irma asking if they could install the windows the next day. I already had plans to be out of town because I had to prepare another house I own for the hurricane. I had to decline and I expressed frustration with the last minute scheduling. They called me immediately after the storm, before I had power back, and asked to install the windows, again, the next day. I agreed and rushed to take my shutters down so they could install the windows. A contractor installed the windows, not ShutterUp employees. The contractor did not finish 6 of the windows with trim that was required on the inside wall. I told the ShutterUp project manager the the job was not finished. Shutter Up demanded more money to finish and I reluctantly agreed to pay for materials. I only agreed to this because, in the immediate aftermath of the hurricane, I still had no power, I had contractors running around the house and needed to focus on hurricane recovery at both of my properties.I mailed Shutter Up final payment on December 2, 2017. I heard no more from Shutter Up until March 13, when I received a certified letter initiating the lien process for nonpayment. Apparently, I made a mistake and did not properly fill out the check I sent them. They had not emailed me (we had corresponded through email previously), nor left any voice messages about my mistake on the check and the impending lien process. When I received the certified letter. I called them to see what was going on. On March 21, I resent a properly filled out check for final payment. Today is April 11. I have not received a receipt for the final payment nor any proof of the lien being lifted. I called them again today, and they promised to send the receipt and proof that the lien is lifted. I’m waiting.One of the windows they installed has a very large crack through it. I was told that they do not guarantee the windows – that must go through the manufacturer, which will take months. I hope to have the house sold by then.In summary, Shutter Up was very inconsiderate when scheduling the installation, increased the contracted price in order to finish the job, did not install the product themselves, and they are not guaranteeing the product that was installed.I do not recommend Shutter Up.

Just had my old windows replaced with PGT. These guys did a great job! We had a couple really big sliders and they look beautiful. I cant believe how fast they got installed. Very professional and friendly.

Now when hurricane IRMA Knocking on our doors I have the time to share my experience with shutter up company YES, THEY DO HAVE THE BEST INSTALLES AND BEST PRICE BUT when it comes to customer service I am not so sure, I understand that mistake can happened BUT when they do the company need to do EVERYTHING to fix it, it took OVER 3 months for them to finally get my shutters and even then, the production team still messed thing up AND NO SUPERVESIOR mad sure that everything is what should be. The poor installer had to come back at list 3 time to fix it. And now just as IRMA approaching I could not close one (1) of the shutter just to find out again because production messed it up and NO ONE in the company checked to make sure EVERYTHING is okay. luckily, I was able to fix it myself. After all of this the sale man never answer my emails or my phone calls, when they finally finish the job I had no phone call to check how thing are the inspector showed up at my door step and I was never informed he is coming, The only think they were worry about is the money because they messed up and it took over 3 month to get my shutter I had to redo the loan application and then I got all the phone calls in the world to make sure to finish the application so they can get paid. until today no one from the company call to find out is everything is ok like any other GOOD company will do.Here we are 2 years later in order to keep my warranty I have to have service every year I WANT TO GIVE THEM THE EXTRA MONEY but so far I have called and send emails numerus times, AND STILL SERVICE SUCK nothing has changes in 2 years

Went there to buy my own shutters .so i can installed them myself .an unprofessional white male came and told me that .they do everything if i buy them to give them my address so they could go measure the house .i told him explained to hom that i already have the measures for every opening that i used to install shutters when he probably was in high school and that i only needed the shutters build .he told me to not bother because they dont build or sell to the public ......hahaha so the people in houses are not public .what a stupid excuse.👎👎
