As a visitor to the United States and this area, I asked the staff if the tap water was safe to drink or should I buy bottled water, female staff member passed me to another staff member who I asked again after about a minute she walked off. I felt this was rude. Apart from that the store was well stocked, cashier was lovely.

Good for produce, meat and fresh foods. Prepackaged stuff like chips and cereal are more expensive than other stores, though. If you need 20 pound sacks of rice, these are your guys.

Came to get meat. I told the guy what I wanted and I told him how I wanted my meat to be cut. He then replied with a loud sigh. He shouldn’t get mad and be rude, if he is like this then he shouldn’t work in the area if he is going to get mad when people ask him for the meat.(not the first time this happens)

If you are not looking for luxury this is a very good supermarket where you can buy at good prices all you need for preparing of your own food and cleaning your house and all in a good atmosphere.

While Presidente Supermarket #7 has some very good deals (especially on produce), the store has poor customer service and has one of the worst return policies. On two recent produce purchases, the fruit I bought (a watermelon and a papaya) didnt ripen properly and had a horrible flavor. I tried to exchange them, but I met a lot resistance and eventually was told no. Other stores have very flexible return policies, especially as it relates to produce. Ill keep shopping at Presidente because of the sales but will need to have a more discerning eye.

I been a customer for long time and this had never happened, in meat department there is this manager named Mario and he allegedly he dont care about anything said by him, the worst customer service I ever recieved from this manager, such a bad attitude to treat their clients, asked this guy to a specific cut on my steaks and hes answer was the meat it well cut this way And I wanted thinner he couldnt do it for me, I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager and if I didnt like the way the meat was cut there was more president around the area where I can go do my grocery shopping. Unbelievable how can someone treat customers this way. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS PRESIDENTE SUPERMARKET This guy MARIO IN THE MEAT DEPARTMENT will RUIN YOUR DAY :(

If I could write 0 stars I would certainty do so. I went to president supermarket to buy groceries with my 6 year old son. My son rhode his bicycle and park the bicycle inside at the front of the store. When i came back to cash my items the bicycle was missing. So i asked one of the worker where is the bicycle? Before she could point on the security, he blurted out at me that this is private property, Private when i am buying something from the store. He put my son bicycle on the outside. Someone could steel it. Its a child bicycle, like really. I drop the stuff and walked out. Poor. I would never shop there again. You dont either.

Awful experience, not only was the a lot of produce rotten but the store is covered in flys. On top of that the customer service is terrible, I had my service animal with me and was directed to leave before they even asked if he was a service animal, then security proceeded to demand I provide proof he’s a service animal (which is against the law) and said I can finish shopping but not to return without proof next time. Never coming back and warning to those who require a service animal, they are not service animal friendly.

I keep coming back here just because I can get some items Im otherwise unable to find elsewhere. But that being said, hygiene could be prioritized and some other Presidente locations are doing a much better job at discounts and cleanliness.

Good prices, long check out lines and slow cashiers

Get your shopping cart from outside before entering the store. Cashiers work at snail pace. Their conversation is more important than your time, so arm yourself with patience. The produce prices are excellent that is why I go. Lines to pay are usually long. Most cashiers and deli staff speak mostly Creole.

Absolutely they should hire some cashiers that are bilingual nobody in there speaks English I had a hard time asking questions this is ridiculous

We went to the deli, she was very nice but spoke Spanish, which is fine for me, but others may not be receptive to that. Anyway, she got me what I needed and gave samples of the ham & the cheese to taste, which I bought them because they tasted great. Service at the register was good, no issues. All in all a good experience buying there.

Stopped here a while back with some reservations after a bad experience in another Presidente. Like the other stores its really not up to US standards. You see places like this in the Caribbean. Anyway like many have said the cashiers are rude and slow, if your looking for civility your not going to find it here. Spanish is the language here not English so just be aware of the ramifications of that. The cafeteria is good but otherwise Id pass on ever entering another Presidente again.

The manager Daniel was screaming to another employee humiliated him over putting some juice in the wrong spot. I asking why the screaming and he said he was the manager and thats he talks. I want to speak to someone in the corporate office. Other employees are sick and tired and afraid to say anything all are Hispanics

Presidents Supermarket provides many food choices in its vast square footage. The fresh produce selection is outstanding. I often go to the small cafe area to order to go lunches. The selections are daily cooked and fresh. I order the Fish with yucca, black beans and rice.The serving size is good and a lot of rice and beans. Always good and always fair priced.

Waited in line patiently after 10 mins the cashier turns her light off saying no more she’s closed. How are you gonna close your line well after i had been standing in line and the light was on. I walked out without purchasing my items. I was not about to stand in another line and wait further just because someone wanted to close their line down. Never again.

Great meat shop you can choose any cut of beef/ steak that you want. Be prepared to be pushy cuz if youre not youre going to get run over. its not a rude thing its a cultural thing and you just have to hold your own while youre in the store. it doesnt give you the right to be rude because nobody else is being rude theyre just doing what they do when they shop and if you dont keep up youre going to get left behind. the prices are worth the battle and the food is phenomenal even in the cafe they have prepared food that is absolutely worth the wait and the prices because the amount of food you get is absolutely amazing. And once again I cannot say enough about their meat department. From using their butcher to picking something out of the frozen section if youre squeamish be careful because there are some things that Im sure you have not seen before for sale that you will see there. But it all of it is worth it at the end 100%!!! Their prices are unbelievable perfect on the spot cheapest places I found for perfect meat and you get to pick the cut. Buck up and enjoy the ride.

In produce the bananas, avocados, tomatoes were rotten, had flying insects around them.

Great store. It is always very clean. I stop by and by fish, lobster and shrimp because the prices are great. They also have a great take out or sit down latín food court with really authentic food. This place is a fantastic cultural experience!

Arrived at the Supermarket with a scheduled 6am appointment. Upon arrival there was a sign stating hours from 7am to 1pm. I go the front counter and seems manager or anyone in receiving was not present and would be in by 7:30-8am. 8am came around and was able to get unloaded. Nice people and good crew just inconsiderate to the people trying to deliver the product that they ordered. Verify with your Broker/customer when product would want to be delivered.

The cashiers are awfully slow and security guard didnt even have his mask on. Very unprofessional.

This was the 1st and last time I will shop here.I was personally humiliated and the cashier did not want to touch my seafood, even with gloves on. Supposedly she was allergic to seafood but I got the impression she was allergic to Caucasian Americans!!!Neither cashier I delt with spoke English.Then a front end manager came over and checked my box of hamburgers to see if I had anything hidden in it.I believe that being a white Caucasian American that I was treated this way and I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.I AM COMPLAINING TO THE EXECUTIVE OFFICES WITH TIMES DATES AND PICTURES.

Had the worst experience, I walked in the story without a mask on because I had forgot it in the car, they told me to get out the store. I tried to explain t them that I had a mask I just forgot to bring it I’m with me they refuse to listen they told me to leave the store. They refuse to check me out, so I went to the ca to get my mask an I came back in the store I saw several people without a mask on. When I asked to speak with the manager he cane and told me they didn’t notice that the other people didn’t have a mask on.

You have a lot of variety of foods, spices, and other cooking ingredients you may need for simple to complex foods. The reason i give it 4 instead of 5 is because a lot of the people in the meat section only speak spanish so they cant understand you, but you can point and theyre ussually on point. Also there are a lot of cashiers so the wait time is minimal.

As soon you walk in your greeted by the smell of homemade Columbian cuisine. The cafeteria is clean, made fresh daily specials. I would recommend this supermarket to everyone.

As soon as you walk in here you can smell the stench of the store. It smells as if the meat is rotten. The place is very dirty as you can see by the pictures. The only good prices here are the meat and produce and maybe the milk. Everything else is over priced. Any American food is over priced. Win-Dixie is way cheaper. Do not shop here stay away!

Employees are nasty. They dont greet you, nor speak to unless your Latin. The produce section is dirty, rotten produce. The meats are okay. But they are price gouging on their Nestle water 24-pack which is usually $3 give or take a little bit but theyre charging 6.99 for 24 pack of water during the time of us having a hurricane in Florida. Smh get it together presidente

The fruit is always fresh. The fish and meat counter workers are nicer than any other President I have shopped. Store usually stocked well. Registers usually fast.

My God the cashier workers have the speed of a turtle. If you are in a hurry, DO NOT go here. Every time I go, if there is 3 people in line, you will be waiting for over 15min which is ridiculous. Half the staff is friendly, the others are there just to be there. Its clean and they have ok prices. I love their meat section. All the meat and poultry are reasonably cheap. However some of there other things are too expensive. They need cashiers who are not so miserable and actually care about cashing out customers.

Absolutely disgusting. The refrigeration units barely work, expired milk was on the shelf, moldy cheese in the dairy section and canned foods that leak.Fruit flies cover the produce, the meat is not up to spec and a lot of the canned/dry goods are expired.The staff take forever to accomplish even the most simple of tasks and -while I could communicate with them- youre out of luck a lot of the time if you dont speak Spanish.This place needs to be inspected and taken to task. Ive seen better markets in third-world countries.

Ive been coming here for years, they are even open on holidays. For the most part they have good prices and pretty cheap produce, the quality varies. Customer service needs Improvement.

There are a lot of reasons not to go here, but, for some canned items, Latin foods, grains, and produce, its very useful for the food enthusiast. Loose and freshly dried chilis, grains and spices bagged, and bulk fresh herbs more easily available and cheaper than in many other chain grocery stores

Went to this specific store because of the promotion article that I received from their store in the mail. When I went to buy a couple of products they did NOT honor their promotion prices even though i had the flyer. The manager was incapable of taking his time to leave his office to fix the issue. Overall a very bad shopping experience.. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
