We went there to buy some fresh pasta because Google said it was open. It wasn’t when we went so I called and spoke to someone and he said they open at 10:30 and we could come in then and shop. We went back at 10:30 and they weren’t open. I called again and got some crazy woman that rambled on but nothing was accomplished. I can guarantee that wasn’t Mama Gizzi! The photos and reviews sounded great shame we will never get to try the place.

She is honest and fair priced to say the least !!But the pastas and ravioli are absolutely the BEST ! If your having company get your pasta here and you will not be disappointed. Mama Gizzi’s is an original culinary experience for South Florida! Located in a discreet Lake Worth location, the treasures are discovered once you walk through the door! First and foremost, the main and most important treasure is Mama Gizzi herself who, upon entering, more than likely, will be in the kitchen whipping something creative and delicious up. Her charming personality is contagious as she goes into detail about her pasta and her life. You can tell that she puts a lot of heart in her creations. The quality of the food here is top-notch and it’s created and served in a no-frills, market/take out environment with partially filled, refrigerated food displays and a chalkboard menu. Mama explained to us that she makes pasta and other Italian favorites for the public and as a wholesaler for A-list, local establishments and, after tasting her delicious pasta I can see why she is successful! I’ve probably passed by here a hundred times not knowing what I was missing out on. She had several pastas in the case which I bought (fettuccine, pappardelle, cavatelli and Spinach ravioli) and she gave us a “sample” of a unique pasta - all of which were amazing and all for less than the price of one meal at some of the locations she caters to. Being an Italian New Yorker, and not a stranger to the kitchen, I like to think that I know a thing or two about quality Italian food. I’ve had the best of the best in both the NYC area and throughout South Florida and her pasta measures up to the best. I’m happy I found Mama Gizzi and I know you will be too!!

In a word ... Delicious!! I stopped by after work for ravioli. I had intended on trying a few different types, I left with 4 different kinds!! Cheese, meat, spinach and cheese, and my favorite ricotta with lemon. The pasta is light and delicate, fresh is the only way to go. I will be back for more. Thank you Mama!!

I absolutely love this place. I went to a restaurant in Delray and overpaid for some pasta, but it was so good I had to try to find another option. I looked everywhere for a place to buy something similar or have it made; thank God for Mama Gizzi. She is incredibly sweet and great at making pasta. I have continuously bought pasta stuffed with pears, marscapone, and ricotta. It is so good with alfredo sauce I make it’s insane. It’s hard to find good pasta that is reasonably priced for my Italian standards. Often it is not worth it to pay so much for something when I can make it just as well myself, BUT SHE IS TOO GOOD! 100% recommend.

Holiday office dinner party for 12 and I must say mama Gizzi exceeded our expectations. The food was phenomenal and the service was that of a five star restaurant. Beautifully decorated for the holiday season-which helped set a very happy mood for the entire dinner. Everyone had a great time and left extremely stuffed with great tasting authentic Italian food made with love. I would highly recommend booking your office holiday party with Mama Gizzi.

Online says its open, I drove all way there and it was closed. I was very disappointed 😞

If you enjoy homemade pasta then Mamas is a MUST!!! Mama and John are fantastic and they put a lot of time and love into their products. Their pasta, ravioli, gravy, meatballs, and bread are the BEST!!!!
