These guys know their stuff and talk you through everything. Theyll pull parts off the engine while youre standing right there and explain what and why theyre doing it. Im having them stud and do the works on my Ford 6.0L and have full faith that Ill get back a fantastic running truck

Daniel and David are the real deal. I called yesterday to see about getting truck in to have my fuel filter changed out. Got an appointment for noon today. Twin Diesel Performance fixed my truck. I have an ‘06 6.0 that was running horribly under a load with no power. They diagnosed my truck and set up a day to swap out an injector. I dropped my truck off the evening before and by 8am the next morning I received a phone call updating me on my trucks progress. My truck ready for pickup by 11am. Needless to say, my truck runs like new. David and Daniel eat, sleep, and breath diesel, and I will absolutely continue to use these guys. If you have a diesel truck I would absolutely recommend you use Twin Diesel for any and all repairs. They are personable, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.

Twin Diesel is the go to place for anything diesel related! David & Daniel are on the ball with their knowledges on the ins and outs of Cummins, Duramax, Powerstrokes. I recently had them to an engine swap on my Ram Cummins and they were phenomenal. I was updated frequently by David regarding our timeline, anything that had come up, and what exactly had gone wrong at the time of failure. Both David and Daniel walked me through their process of how theyd go about my swap and had me come up each time there was major headway with our project. Ive had my truck back several weeks now and its running flawlessly! Ill definitely be back for any future jobs and additional upgrades!

First thing, the crew was able to diagnose an issue with my 2013 PowerStroke that 3 other shops couldnt....within minutes! I cant say enough good things about the twins, Daniel and David. I have a 2003 Ford Excursion 7.3 that started dripping oil. I Came across a post on Facebook where someone was recommending Twin Diesel Performance in Lakeland, Fl. I live about 70 miles away. I was in the area and stopped by and spoke with one of the Owners, David. Very honest and upfront about being super busy but gave me an appointment as soon as one was available. Dropped my Excursion off on a day before and the next day I received a call from David about the issue. The repair parts were the hold up based on the scamdemic from Ford but David kept me informed the entire time. My Excursion was finished on the day he promised and it was completely satisfied with the repair and the price. Youll be hard pressed to find a more polite and honest person/mechanic than David. I have a Ford diesel work truck that has been fixed twice by this company and I don’t normally do reviews but this shop is the real deal. For starters my truck had emmission problems and AC didn’t work, I spent around $6,000 at another local shop to have everything fixed. After 3 weeks of waiting the truck was “fixed”, three days later the exhaust manifold cracked because the wrong one was ordered but made to fit, I found all of this out after taking my trucks to Twin Diesel for a quick look over that took 2 minutes and they already knew what was wrong. I’ve used two other auto shops in the area and they love holding your vehicle for a week or two but as a business owner I can’t afford to have trucks down that long. All I asked from the twins is that the truck gets worked on once it’s brought in, after giving me a date I brought the truck in the night before and was supposed to pick it up two days later (a Friday). To my surprise the truck was completed a day early and hasn’t had a problem with anything they worked on since. Today I just got my truck back after a two day service which lasted exactly two days (I think anyone in Polk county realizes how much of a big deal this is). The work was also extremely reasonable as well. These aren’t diesel mechanics these guys are diesel enthusiast and it shows everywhere in there shop from organization to race truck projects throughout the shop. Thank you guys for taking for being a 5 stars.

This is the place!! Twin Diesel is the real deal!! My truck has been in and out of a shop not worth mentioning on this site. I had no resolve to several issues plaguing my truck until I came across Twin Diesel. My wife used to call my truck Pandora’s box not realizing we just had a horrible mechanic. Until Twin Diesel!! They literally diagnosed my problem in 15 minutes!! The shop I had been taking it to had it for a week and a half told me it was one thing replaced that and gave me the truck back doing the same exact thing. I was totally defeated and leery of any mechanics. When I brought it in to Twin Diesel I immediately felt at home and was treated like a friend they had known all along. They are honest mechanics who love what they do and honestly want to help people with their vehicles. I will never go anywhere else and from what I hear they may in the near future start working on gas engines too!! If that’s the case I am set for life on a mechanic. Thanks again guys. Ive been dealing with issues on my truck for a couple of years after using another local diesel shop, including the dealership. I contacted them to schedule a diagnostic, and I knew immediately I had come to the right place. The parking lot and shop is packed with Fords, Dodges, and a couple of Duramaxs (guess these Duramaxs dont need to come to the shop often). The shop owner took the time to explain to me what my truck needed and why. They ordered my injectors, CP3 pump, and a down pipe, and put me on their schedule to come back once the parts arrived. When I dropped my truck off, I also supplied the new injector lines, which one of them failed immediately at start up. These guys hustled to get these parts changed out and to get my truck back to me all within their promised date. I had no idea how much my truck was suffering from loss of power due to worn injectors and pump. The truck runs 100% better! The mechanic took the time to explain what issues he found while doing the repair, from missing hardware, faulty wire connections, etc. I appreciate everything they did, I was happy with their quality of work, they were very personable, and on time. My truck is a 2008 3500, chevy with 400,000 miles. I am very happy with the overall experience. Thanks guys for taking care of my truck!!!

Let me start off by saying i dont have any ties to the shop or any of its employees in any way. a local ford dealership was trying to charge me 1,800 for a part, i took my truck to twin diesel and got an 800 quote for the same work. After they inspected the truck turns out I didnt even need the part these guys saved me a ton of money and time. everyone up there is very good at what they do top notch equipment tools and people if you have a diesel truck do yourself a favor and check out twin diesel performance.

My family and I were on the way to Orlando for a day trip from Tampa when I blew an intercooler boot off my 6.0. I called these guys and there was no answer. As I am calling Lakeland Ford they called me back. I told them my situation, at first they offered to meet me on the side of I-4 but I declined and offered to limp it on over to them. They told me that the part would be there before I got there. I got there, the boot was delivered and they had me on the road in less than an hour. They charged me less than Ford quoted for the parts and only charged a half hour labor. I know it was an easy fix but the fact that these guys hustled, made time for me, charged me less than Ford for parts, and wanted to get me back on the road without any B.S. makes them awesome. Can you give me some more details?I noticed you said you were on vacation, did you have the time for the shop to appropriately diagnose the problem? Were you able to leave the truck with them so they could work on it? Were you pressured into getting the $6,000 work done or was it merely a suggestion based on the symptoms you described since they didn’t work on it?
