Our experience started on the showroom floor where Rodney and Kevin took their time to explain the pros and cons of each hot tub. They displayed amazing customer service and even stayed later past closing time to help me make an informed decision. Delivery was set up and was delivered within 48 hrs and on a Sunday. Very professional and answered all our questions. They adjusted to our needs which we appreciate so much.There was good coordination between the office and us, as far as ordering and delivery. They were prompt and arrived on time. Mr. Anthony and Daniel were fast and professional about putting stuff together, very patient explaining everything from controls, using and taking care of the tub, proper water monitoring, draining and cleaning. Friday Rodney the owner of Affordable Spas, Pool & Billiards and his crew delivered our new Jacuzzi. They removed our old one and set the new one up. Anthony gave us a great over view on all the features and procedures on the proper care and operation of our new Jacuzzi hot tub. Every thing worked great. Later that evening we started to use it and discovered there wasn’t any power to the hot tub. Now at this point Rodney has met his responsibilities. I called Rodney and over the phone he instructed me to check the circuit breaker and he determined the problem was probably on my end with my circuit breaker and to my surprise he said he would come back to our home the next day and check the breaker. Saturday morning he promptly arrived with a new breaker in hand and replaced my circuit breaker. Rodney went above and beyond his responsibilities to fix the problem at his expense. Bought the exact jacuzzi I was looking for from Rodney, it was a quick and easy process. It was delivered within a week. Anthony and his brothers got it inside my screen patio and patched the screen up to the condition it was in before. I appreciated the time they took to explain everything to me, from initial fill up to all the use and maintenance. I cant wait to use it!

Candy and Rod strongly suggested I change to Blue Pristine after helping me get a new liner and honestly my pool has never looked better. They also suggested I get the matronics echo dolphin which was so user friendly that even an idiot (like myself) was able to use it. Thank you for all your help and for dealing with all my new user questions.

Do not use this place they are horrible. I didnt even want to give 1 star. I Called two weeks ago for a hot tub repair and they said someone would be out to look at it. One week went by and I called again and they said they had the repair order and the guy would call when he was coming. It is now 9 days later and Ive heard nothing from them. Terrible customer service. Dont recommend.

Ordering, delivery was exceptional. Since we received it not so much. Our Bluetooth stopped working within the first month. Tried for 3 months to get it fixed. Finally, someone came out and of course had to order a piece. It’s been months and never receive a return call. Very Unhappy with lack of care once you pay. I financed and paid it off and still no music..

Walked in... picked our hot tub... played a round of skeeball... all took less than 20 minutes... hot tub gets delivered the day after Christmas. Awesome staff and a great selection of games and spas. Also the gentlemen that did the install were all very friendly and helpful. All around class act here.

Great business to deal with! Straight forward no BS. You can tell they take pride in what they do. From the first visit, to installation very professional and courteous. Anthony and Dan were very thorough, and took the time to make sure everything was working correctly and made sure we knew how to use and maintain the tub. They had to take out a screen in my enclosure and even asked me to inspect it after they put the screen back in, to make sure i was happy. So glad we took the time to get to know Rodney and the crew. Well worth the ride.

I bought a hot tub from Rodney about 10 years ago. During Christmas time we decided it was time to replace it not because there was something wrong with it but because we wanted stronger jets and a little bigger. I knew I could reach out to Rodney and team to find the right spa for us. He did, and it was delivered installed and the old one taken away within 2 hours. The whole team was very professional as usual. I would not buy a spa from anyone else thus I have referred many friends to them.Thank you guys!

The staff here are very friendly and are very knowledgeable of the products they are selling. My Wife and I bought a 24 round, above ground pool, got a great deal and am currently enjoying said pool. If youre in the market for a pool, of any size, stop in, you will not be disappointed.

Read the negative reviews, they are all true ! I’m out almost $ 1000 dollars in parts and labor, and my hot tub still does not work . Terrence smiley was not responsive, texts calls, never will get back to you .The owner is equally as bad, I never in my life encountered a more obtuse individual.

Great staff and Alex was very patient with us deciding on which hot tub was the best fit for our needs! They accommodated us until our patio we were building ourselves was finished. Even through hurricane Irma and the set backs they were friendly and helped us install the hot tub.

This place did a fine job with delivery and setting up the tub. I did have to call them to find out when it would be available for delivery and they told me it was already there. They said they called but I didn’t answer. No message was left so I waited at least 3 weeks longer to get it than necessary.Fast forward 4 months. The arm on the lifter popped out of the ball socket and couldn’t be fixed, at least by me. I notified the store about the broken lifter arm. First they just didn’t return calls. Then eventually they asked for pictures which I sent. Still no contact. I finally got Rodney on the phone after 3 months of attempts. I learned that they don’t warrant their lifters. I had spent 3 months rigging the lifter to stay open so I could use the pool.I was told I had a CV250 Cover Valet lifter and went to the CV web site to try to figure out what to do to fix my tub. CV also asked for photos. Looking at the the installation instructions to determine if I could fix the lifter myself, I realized the pictures did not look like mine. But the lifter did have a 1 year warranty.CV responded to my inquiry. Although it appeared I had a CV lifter arm, I was informed that my lifter looked like a Leisure Concepts lifter Covermate. So I visited the Leisure Concepts web site where I found what appeared to be exactly what my lifter looked like. Leisure Concepts warrants their lifters to their dealers for life (according to their website). However, they don’t sell directly to the public. But their rep was very helpful directing me to a site where I could buy replacement parts. It was during the research for parts that I realized I was in way over my head.I contacted unique pools again. I asked Rodney why he doesn’t pass the product warranty on to the customer. He informed me he just doesn’t. That I would have to pay a $125 trip charge if I wanted them to fix it, in addition to the cost of replacement parts. What? I tried to communicate what I had learned from the 2 lifter companies but Rodney claimed he didn’t sell Leisure Concepts lifters. Turns out he does. I had one. And I verified with LC that unique pools was one of their dealers.I was accused of breaking the lifter arm. Obviously that’s true, but not from negligence or abuse. I was in the act of releasing the arm when it popped off the socket. But Rodney clearly faulted me for the problem, not the product. He finally agreed to give me a new lifter if I paid the $125 trip fee. I could not pay him to come and fix what should have been repaired under warranty for free. He offered to leave me a lifter at the store in Lakeland if I picked it up myself. So I did.Instead of giving me a replacement for the Covermate lifter that broke, I was given a CV 250. So now I have a lifter with different hole placements that my husband and I had to figure out how to install ourselves. Having never done this made it challenging. We should not have had to fix this ourselves. To his credit, Rodney finally gave us a new lifter. But the hassle, accusations, misinformation, were way overboard. I had a very expensive new tub for only 4 months when the lifter broke. And it took another 3 months of hassle to repair it. Myself. Unacceptable.

I believe this place is doing illegal activity; I say this because it smells like marijuana the 2 times I walked in. This place is never busy. I agree Zero Customer Service. We bought our spa from Spa manufactures in Largo. What a great experience. I recommend the extra drive.

Outstanding customer service. Excellent experience from the moment I walked into the store. I wanted to surprise my husband and appreciated the depth of knowledge and friendliness. The array of choices in styles, sizes, colors and features of spas made it so much fun to spend hours there. Most of all, I appreciated how they really listened to my questions and were totally relaxed. I felt they focused on what would work in our house. I also was interested in billiards, and selected a style that would work in our family room. I ordered the table tennis topper and we are enjoying the friendly competition after work. They went above and beyond in helping ensure the delivery and setup was coordinated, which made the surprise possible for my husband and family visiting. This is a great place to spend time exploring the spa lifestyle. We have received so many compliments that I am confident to recommend them based on how professional and customer-friendly my experience was. This is a premier place that has their heart in what they do everyday.

BUYER BEWARE! The owner of this establishment is by the far the most degrading and unprofessional person ever. Here I was thought I’d buy local, to support small businesses, BIG MISTAKE! Brand new hot tub $9000, 2 weeks later not even working. When I call to report issues, the owner doesn’t care to hear them at all, only concern in his own words was “getting me off the phone”!!! Do not buy here! Rip off alert!

We first went to the hot tub expo at the Lakeland Center, and then we swung by Unique to compare. The experience was night and day better at Unique! The salesman Justin was very polite and knowledgeable. My wife and I appreciated that they gave us space and did not pressure us at all (stark contrast to the expo salesperson). We got a great hot tub that fit our budget perfectly! I would recommend anyone in the market for a hot tub or swim spa to give them a look.

We brought the entire family into their show room to price their above ground pools. The staff was extremely helpful knowledgeable and courteous. We were surprised to find that the pool we were interested in was actually on sale. We were able to purchase the upgraded package for cheaper than what it would have cost us to get the bare essentials. Love this place and would recommend it to anyone. To top it off we get 10% off pool supplies for being a member of the Lakeland pools and spas family!

Very poor service. Tried to order a replacement top rail for a my pool. They have my EXACT pool for sale in their store and I was told that my part was available and asked to call back with the measurement so that the correct piece can be ordered. When I called back 20 minutes later, a man answered (manager and/or owner?) and said that we dont order replacement parts for people and proceeded with five more minutes of BS on where he thinks I might be able to find my part. BUYER BEWARE! This place seems to be pretty shady. If they really cant order a replacement part for something that they sell, where do you think they will be after you make your purchase?

From the purchase of the spa to the installation, it has been a pleasure dealing with Rodney and Unique Pools. Well worth my hour drive from Tampa. I highly recommend.

From the moment we walked in, it was a zero pressure situation. Everyone in the store was happy to see us and eager to help. We discussed what we were looking for and sat in quite a few spas. It was very important to find just the right spa for the two of us. We dont have a lot of room, and I have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Our spa arrived rather quickly, was set up in less than 2 hours, and we were given full instructions on how to use it. Whenever we go back to get chemicals, the people in the store know exactly what we need because they remember the tub that we purchased! What excellent customer service! Never seen better! Were in our spa almost every night, and it has made a difference in my level of pain. This is the place to go. No need to look anywhere else. Thank you all so much for all you do!

The owner of this place has ZERO customer service. I would NEVER recommend anyone buying anything from a man who speaks to his customers the way he spoke to me. He blantantly screamed at me over the phone and when his workers forgot to bring something, I was told to drive over 50 min for HIS mistake. I am telling you.. spend your money elsewhere! The rudest person I’ve ever encountered! Absolutely disgusting...

We will never buy another spa from them! They are all over you and helpful when purchasing; but if you need service watch out, the prices are steep! We recently had to have service, he charged $80 For $3.00 fuse you can but at home depot. The spa stopped working a few days later. We called and he wanted to charge another $80 a week later, outrageous. They NEVER told us it had to be plugged into the wall. When we purchased it they told us to buy a heavy duty extension cord, which we did. Where they set the spa the cord would have never reached the spa, and the knew this; and never said if you plug into a heavy duty extension cord it will void your warranty. Consumers, educate yourself before you buy any spa. I wish had shopped around more.

Awesome spa purchasing experience. Rod took me though the whole process from purchase to delivery at my home. He and his guys did a fantastic job getting my old spa out of my screen room and installing my new one. They are quick, knowledgeable and professional. A+ job.

We purchased a small 2 person spa here. The salesman, Kevin was polite, gave us room to speak, wasnt pushy, and when we decided what we wanted help us set things up. Came by the next morning, they loaded the spa in my truck and off we went. Picked it up on Mothers Day and plugged it in and off to the races we went. Yeah, nice place, good sales people.

A COMPANY WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE....We purchased our first hot tub with Lakeland Unique Pools and Spas recently and we LOVE it! The employees were so helpful, and patient with us, going above and beyond. When we purchased it, we were having a house built. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the house was not completed on time. They held the hot tub for us until the house was completed. They delivered it, leaving us all the supplies and information that we needed to get it running once the electrician installed the wiring needed for the hot tub. They left it about 2 feet away from the wall so that the electrician could work. After the electrician was done, he refused to move it back for us, so we were left with a hot tub in the middle of our lanai, that we could not fill or use until it was put back in the right place. We tried to move it, but couldnt budge it. We tried to get some strong men to move it for us, but no go. The job would take 2 minutes, but we couldnt even find anyone we could HIRE to do it for us. With no other option, I called Lakeland Unique Pools and Spas back to see if they knew anyone closer, if they had any idea what we could do OR if we could hire THEM to do it (even though they are about 45 minutes away from us). We couldnt believe it when they came out, MOVED our hot tub back for us...THEN FILLED IT, setting it all up with the chemicals, etc, all while we were away from home, and it was running, ready for us to use that same day! Rodney and his crew came out without any hesitation!! How nice it is to find a business that still has such great customer service. AND GUESS WHAT... THEY DIDNT CHARGE US ANYTHING!!! I was willing to pay them and they refused! Again, what other company do you know nowadays that what do that for you?I will definitely drive the extra miles to purchase all of our spa supplies from them, recommend them to anyone and everyone, and purchase our NEXT hot tub from them, too! THANK YOU FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND, AND FOR DOING ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR US!! IT IS TRULY APPRECIATED!

Very disappointed website says they are opened till 8pm. We drove an hour arrived at 7:15 and doors were locked and the place was closed. Sign at the store even says they are opened till 8.
