The staff here had always been willing to help out and talk about games, pops, new releases, and perks of their rewards card. They do a great job trying to identify what i need and how to help, minus one start because the issue is with almost all GS stores, the checkout prices can be long as there are so many different things that need to be done per customer. This is at all stores so its not a knock on the employees here.

Since the renovated this GameStop the environment has improved quite a bit. The staff are great.

I stopped into this location to inquire if they had any used or new gaming consoles with little hope that i would actually find one. Justin who was working informed me that he just noticed two Nintendo switch bundles were available to order online. He took the time to explain the differences between both bundles and helped me make a decision. I have been in quite a few locations over the past couple of years with my son and Justin by far was the most helpful, positive and outgoing associate that i have had encountered. Thank you Justin

Great GameStop. All the ones in Polk County are hit / miss most of the time. This one had a great stock of older games, which is what I was after.

My experience has been that some of these stores are staffed by antisocial snobby gamers. Not these guys. They were informative, talkative, pleasant and generally created a nice experience for a non-gaming dad. I would definitely recommend this location.

It was a bit busy but Im sure they do excellent business. The cashier Chris was very helpful, quick and efficient. Another lady who I apologize because I couldnt catch her name, was also very outstanding making sure everyones shopping experience was excellent. If I ever need another game for my PlayStation 3, I will most definitely return!

The staff here is so friendly! They have always engaged with us, talked to us about what games we are playing, and recommended ones they are currently playing. I feel like they are very knowledgeable about games and systems. The store is always organized and easy to find things you are looking for. In addition to games, they have a lot of options for gifts. Funko Pops and other figures, board games, and even clothing items. I really enjoy stopping in here when I can.

Always pleasant staff unfortunately they never have enough people working around this time of year. Took me almost thirty minutes to get help and the store was backed up with customers. A side from that great people and many unique items to purchase.

All the employees here are extremely polite and ever since December of last year, this particular location has become extremely focused on its customer service; looking to provide a better buying experience to first time shoppers and guests that frequent the store often.The employees now always greet every customer to enter the store and do their best to fulfill customer requests and answer any and all questions that they receive.Even when the store is packed from a movie theater rush, the employees make sure that the store is presentable and clean for its guests, and that almost all items are stocked and easy to find; and if an item is out of stock they always check nearby locations to make sure you find what youre looking for.Every time I have been in the store, the employees have been extremely helpful and friendly when it comes to questions about a product, and they do not make purchases feel rushed; taking time to explain additional features and just chat about gaming interests and new products that are close to releasing.The stores location is convenient and the atmosphere inside is very homey and the employees are kind, funny, and openly talk and laugh with the customers and each other (unlike robots at other stores); resulting in an environment that is fun, easy, friendly, and enjoyable to shop in/at.I highly recommend this GameStop store to new shoppers and repeat customers alike.

Went here for my gaming intervention, but they didn’t help me stop. It just got worse. I’ve been playing Fortnite on my Nintendo Switch for days and I don’t know if I’m okay. I’m typing this with one hand. Reggie Fils-Aime has a gun to my head.Workers were nice though. Wish they had scribblenauts lol

Staff was really friendly and helpful in selecting games for my sons first gaming experience. Very easy exchange when one was not working.

This location is located next door to a cigar bar. The ventilation system doesnt work well so it often smells like tobacco here. The people are very helpful, but we still avoid this location when possible so we dont get lung cancer.

This is a wonderful little store i often stop by just to talk to the guys up here they are knowledgeable in all aspects of video gaming. They have arguably the biggest selection of all the different Gamestops around the Lakeland area, much more homier than the one at the mall and better customer service than the once across the street from the mall. The staff are awesome and the manager is a very cool guy.

Bought a PlayStation4 online for a sale they were having and when I went into the store to pick it up I was told that the accidentally sold it. Was told there is nothing they could do about it but offer a refund... They wouldn’t honor the sale price when a new shipment came in.

I drive past 3 other gamestop stores just because I like the staff so much and I just so happen to like the smell of cigars (even thow you cant smell the tabaco when your inside). The staff is super helpful and the used game selection is descent and they stay stalked with the PlayStation cards lol😉😉.

It seems like every GameStop has really rude employees this place is no exception.

I come here often considering its 5 minutes from my house. Several of the employees there know me by name and know exactly what I come there for which is either xbox one stuff or Funko Pops, they print me a list of the future stuff coming without me even asking and always are willing to give me the best of what they have in the store. They call me regularly to let me know when new things arrive and call me promptly every time a new game is either there or they give me a reminder of pre release nights. I highly recommend visiting this gamestop if your in the area.

I stop in at Gamestop everytime I see them. The Lakeland Gamestop has a weird feel to it. Im not sure why but I dont like visiting this one. The last time I dropped by here someone who the staff told me was the District Manager was at the store and he made me feel even weirder about the store.
