My friend and fellow IT person Erika Warren told me about Jeff at Soundwaves when I had an issue with an old ethernet cable in the attic that had lost connectivity after 20 years.We spoke on the phone for a few minutes and Jeff recommended I get an eros system instead of contracting his company for billable hours to do a physical drop through the attic.After reading about eros i understood what he meant, I appreciate that honesty and will remember it!
So our office decided to update our existing ceiling speakers and we went online and bought what we thought would work and needless to say it snowballed into a complicated ordeal with uneven noise levels throughout the office. So we called SoundWaves and Jeff, Marty and the expert installers got us the right speakers and a new amplifier installed and sounding great! We now have full volume control in each room and the sound is awesome. I would highly recommended SoundWaves to anyone I know.
Originally had set up an appointment at 2pm - 4pm which was fine with me. They called the day before at 4pm needing to change it to in the morning. I said sure, Ill be up from 8a.m. on, but I have a meeting at 10:30a.m. The service manager said well be there at 10a.m. After I hung up I realized that was going to be a 30minute service call. Not good. Called them right back, got their voicemail and cancelled appointment then told him to call me and reset the appointment. No phone call, but the service guy showed up at 8a.m. Kind of a bad way to schedule appointments when you dont even know when they will be coming. No fault of the service tech, he did a very good job setting up my equipment. Felt like I was getting jerked around. Probably will use someone else next time.
The soundwaves team are an excellent unity. Jeff really knows his stuff and is on top with the latest and greatest of the whole home audio and video, security industry. Its really great to see a local small business still striving through the ups and downs of the economy for more than 20 yrs. You guys are the best !!!!
The worst customer service.
Great service call. System up and running in one hour.
I experienced poor customer service and technical support from this company. The owner Jeff warrantied my system for 5 years and did not honor his word. he brought in another customer into my house to show off the system and he in exchange told me that he would fix whatever was wrong and never showed up again. Once you pay him in full – that’s the last time you’ll see him.
