I had a great, easy move. Victor and Chris were amazing! They helped me get all of my things into storage and did a fantastic job fitting all of my stuff into my unit.

My move was a breeze! The whole process was smooth and fast.I have requested a few quotes and Moving Ahead were not the cheapest. But turned out to be worth every penny.When i needed a move Kayla got it scheduled for the next day (some other companies never even replied back to me).Chris and Malcolm came on time and were very nice and professional. They took the scope of work once and then were on their roll. All the items made it to the final destination safe, including a 48 glass tabletop.Last-minute additional stop was added with no problem.Overall very pleasant experience.

I really enjoyed working with Move Ahead services. The staff and movers were excellent with my move from Davenport to Pensacola. The movers were funny and always happy to assist. They were very efficient but did not rush at all. I love the fact they stayed and helped set up furniture. Justin and Kayla were easy to work with over the phone and there were no unexpected fees! I have hired Moving Ahead Services twice for two moves within the last three years and could not be more pleased. DeAnn was exquisitely flexible with my move and accommodated me with rescheduling three times because my new residence was not ready yet. Excellent customer service. Chris and his team were very accommodating with the actual move and paid great attention to detail, including positioning four filing cabinets into a very tight space. Rick came even to my house the following Saturday and brought left over material that was accidentally left in his truck and that was essential for hanging a picture. Overall an outstanding experience. I would hire them in a heart beat again.

My wife and I had arranged with another company to move about twenty pieces of furniture at a very high price in our minds. So I checked for other movers and we tried Start Moving On. The office staff were very personable over the phone although we had to call several times. However they always called back. Their price for the same items was almost half the price of the other company. They did not include travel time from their location to our house nor from where we moved our items back to their warehouse. Two men arrived at the designated time. They were cordial, friendly and extremely efficient and diligent. We were impressed by how hard they worked and how knowledgeable they were about loading and moving our furniture regardless of size or shape. They worked without stopping. We added a few pieces to what we had asked originally and they moved them easily within our time period quoted. The cost was what we had been told it was to be. We highly recommend this company and wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

Great experience. My 3 movers worked very hard and were thorough, on time and professional. There were no last minute surprises. I would highly recommend them and also recommend that you have someone come to your home to give a personalized quote so there are no surprises. I’m sure glad I did.

I employed them to clean our house, ready for sale after we had moved out of state. We have just arrived back after a month to close and I am extremely angry with what I saw.For just shy of $300 I expected a clean house. Honestly Im still trying to figure out what exactly they did for the time they charged. Absolute rip off. Windows not done, walls not cleaned where dog bed lay, fan blades not done, bathroom floors not done, shower not done.....Im literally looking for what they did, still dont see anything.

Start Moving did a very good job on my move. the men who showed up were very respectful and courteous. they were also very energetic. they did not waste time. they wrapped the furniture very well before loading on truck. Of course no large moves goes without a hitch, the next day we noticed a few small issues. Start Moving sent someone out that same day and took care of everything. overall it was a great experience.

Best money Ive ever spent. Ive always done my own moves and it takes a full, grueling day. From the second Chris and Kevin arrived at the house we were moving, they were off and running. They were kind, respectful, and working hard to move us a quickly and responsibly as possible. They protected all of our fragile items and followed any special directions we gave. We moved from house to house in less than 4 hours, with all our stuff safely delivered, and PLENTY of time to get all the other things we needed done. Go Chris and Kevin- youre the best!

What a great experience! I had seen that Start Moving had stellar reviews on Angies List, so I gave them a call. The right move start to finish!I was impressed with the excellent advice about the most cost effective way to move some antique furniture across the country, as well as the on time and super friendly representatives took great care packing the furniture. They made sure everything would be safe and treated it like it was their own. Also, they did not milk the clock and were done with the job much quicker than I anticipated.Ill have another move coming up in a few months and I know Ill be asking Start Moving to do the job.

Having moved all over the country I was not expecting great service one mover held my furniture in Denver for 6 months and moved it seveeral times, It arrived with every box split open, furniture broken and most of the items lost. They threw everything in the front room and left. So when I hired Start Moving and was able to call Di on her cell phone fro moral support it was refreshing. When the polite mover called me Sunday morning and gave me a time I was overwhelmed. He really put my mind at ease. They were very professional and loaded all items perfectly, Two days later my driver met me at my new home with everything in the perfect order it was packed. Nothing broken. When moving my car I got stuck in the mud and they pulled me out twice.. This is the only way to move. THANK YOU everyone at Start Moving for going above and beyond.

The level of professionalism and expertise is unmatched. I have used Start Moving three times already and every time they have been just perfect. Two of the times have been to move motorcycles that I bought. They handled them perfectly and with great care. They were tied down properly and with the correct straps and didnt leave any marks on my cycle at all.The third time I used them was to move a Corvette I bought. I was surprised they could even do this, but they explained to me they are a full service moving company. I guess that means they will pack and unpack your boxes and stuff, but I didnt realize they could even move a car! Wow did they come through for me. Once again they treated my corvette perfectly and without any problems. I will absolutely use them next time I need to move anything.

James and Josh were amazing. They loaded our whole house quickly, moved us 3 hours south and then carried most of our things up to a 2nd floor. Im not even sure I saw them stop to take a breather and they would even run back to the house to grab more things. I wish I had their energy! They were very professional, focused and funny :) We would definitely hire them again. 👌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I definitely recommend using Start Moving! I used Start Moving to unload my boxes for my move from Wisconsin to Tampa and they were wonderful! Don and Allen were very polite and took the time to show me any boxes and/or furniture that was damaged before moving it from the trailer, so I could take pictures to show the loading company to get money back. They were very careful as to not damage any of the items while inside the home as well. They took a little over the 2 hour estimated time, but they rounded down to meet the 2 hour estimate! Will use them in the future for sure!

Utterly disappointed! I WOULD NEVER EVER hire again or recommend these company to friends or family. I had a 3600+sq ft home, doing a long haul to CO. When they came through to give an estimate, they shopped all through my house asking how much I wanted for: my table, my sons toys, etc. I agreed to sell a couple of items to them, however I realized they were very distracted on the providing the offer as they werent calculating what we had to move. THEN, day of the move, they did not have enough room in the truck to move all my belongings, leaving me to scramble and move my left over items by myself-- another 16 ft moving truck, I had to drive to CO. THEN, Start Moving decided to send her daughter to CO to move my items. She is not a mover, explained to me many times, she was along for the ride but she can push carts and hold doors for the gentleman who drove to CO. She wanted to go, because she had never been before. NOT a professional move on their part. When in CO, I watched and photographed the mover drop my belongings, including nightstands. They shattered a very large mirror, crushed my 55 in TV, dented the front and top of my new front load dryer, crushed boxes to name a few. I filed a claim for the TV and mirror and they paid $100. Insulting. I asked my friends and family to AVOID this company!

Richie and Sidney were the best! We moved from Plant City to Temple Terrace. They were hard working and quick! They had to move on a day it was raining and still worked very hard! I will definitely use again!

I hired this company off a Groupon. They were UNPROFESSIONAL and SLOW I had 3 movers. I thought this would help move all my large items. It took 7 hours. They cursed, made me very uncomfortable and took their time. My washer drain valve wasnt put into the washer and they cracked it. Now I have to have my washer fixed. :( They removed my front door to take out a fridge. Odd, when it was delivered they were able to get it in the door without taking off the door. They also left the line on to the ice maker and it drained all over the place. I had paid an extra $75.00 for insurance. They managed to break a desk I had purchased in the last year. I complained to the owner and he refused to do anything. I would never recommend this company. I paid over $1100.00. Sad!!!

These guys were indispensible for our move. We moved from a second story apartment in Winter Haven, made one stop in Lakeland, to our final destination in northern Lakeland at a third story apartment. These guys made quick work of everything and were done in only 4.5 hours. They were polite, funny, and hard-workers. Should I move again, I highly consider coming back to these guys.

I have no experience with START on local moves. I can only say DO NOT use Start Moving for a long distance move. They are inexperienced and badly prepared. I hired them to move my family from Texas to California and they did such a horrible job. They not only broke multiple, very expensive objects but they did a TERRIBLE job placing things in boxes which caused a lot of damage to everything they touched, in addition to how they placed our things in storage was incredibly irresponsible and badly planned. I was hoping they would be a full-service solution, and they are FAR from being that. We spend a pretty penny with them and I regret it every day. If you are planning a long distance move, spend the money on an experienced, well insured national company. These guys have no idea what they are doing.

I have used these movers twice now and have been so pleased across the board. Fast and professional with reasonable prices. ( use the Groupon for even better prices) only problem I had was when I called to schedule the woman who answered seemed annoyed, like I bothered her, but seriously dont let it put you off the movers themselves are amazing!

Person furniture was picked up from told me that workers were very professional and wrap my furniture for protection. I was very pleased thank you for your services. Joe and Kevin were very professional and pleasing. Furniture in good shape they unwrapped and position where I wanted.
