I do not write reviews unless I have an exceptionally good or bad experience at a business, and this was by far my worst experience with taking my truck into a shop to be worked on. I would recommend going literally anywhere else to have your vehicle worked on, I dont think there is a single competent worker at this location. On 8/27 I took off a day of work and made an 8am appt to have my front end looked at. They didnt even get it looked at until almost 1pm, and told me they needed to replace control arms, I told them to proceed. I then got a call 5 hours later to come pick up my truck, and they were unable to do the repairs we agreed on but wouldnt tell me why. (Why let it sit there for another 5 hours if you know youre not going to fix it?) I get there and they stated they could not do the agreed upon repair because there was an issue with my rear drive train, but still couldnt explain why that prevented them from fixing the original issue in the control arms. Why does the drive train affect them fixing front-end steering components? I dont know either. So I thought it was fishy since I have had zero issues with the drive train, and I took my truck to another shop down the street a week later on 9/3 for a second opinion. They said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my drive train, and then fixed the original issue for almost $300 cheaper than it was going to cost at Firestone, and got it all done in half a day. If you are looking at coming here, save yourself some time and money and go down the street to Sheridan!!
I have been a customer with Firestone for years on multiple vehicles in different cities - each one has been great service! The staff at this location have been nothing but courteous, knowledgeable, and hard working! They were able to get my car in shop right away after another location had to cancel my appointment with late notice. Always adds coupons when they can and never tried to up-sell on extra products that aren’t necessary for general repair.
Make sure they listen to what you need or you could be out of luck. I damaged 2 of my wheels on a pothole, with relatively new snow tires on. I bought new wheels, and told them that I needed to replace the 2 tires that were damaged and move the TPMS sensors to the new wheels. They replaced 1 tire and told me the other one was ok (it wasnt) and failed to move the sensors over to my new wheels. I had to go back the next day because the tire they said wasnt damaged went flat and wouldnt hold any air.. because it was damaged really badly and I have no idea how they missed it. Then my TPM light went off a day later so I went back and asked if they moved the sensors over to my new wheels and the guy said its just cold outside, theyre probably not working. When the light didnt go off that whole weekend they tried to claim I never said anything about moving the sensors over and the old wheels were already gone so Id have to buy new ones 😡 Ill be going to the Firestone on Wadsworth in Belmar from now on!
I had a great experience at this Firestone location last week. I dropped off my car to get my tires aligned and also took advantage of the $10 car care package which included rotating my tires and a complete car inspection. Ive been hearing a clunking noise near the front of my car and was hoping to get that diagnosed/quoted. When I arrived at the store I was told that the tech who serviced my car didnt hear a noise but fortunately Brayden was willing to stay almost 40 minutes after the end of his shift to test drive the car with me to hear the noise. After hearing the noise he then lifted up my car and looked at all of my suspension components to diagnose what was wrong with it.I am impressed with this Firestones level of service, especially considering I only spent $10 for everything. I will be back.
CAR THIEVES LOVE THIS PLACE! My daughter dropped her car off before leaving for vacation. By day she hadnt heard from them and checked in. They STILL hadnt started the service she requested. She called back the next afternoon and asked if it was ready yet. Richie told her it was already picked up. She left the only set of keys with them so it was easy to ascertain it was stolen. Richie REFUSED to call the police, so my daughter took cate of it 1500 miles away. I called to see if they have cameras for my insurance claim. They dont. I asked about their protocols regarding invoices and vehicles. They were not followed. They denied liability. I have had great service at other locations. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS..
If i could give NO stars i would!!! I have Had multiple BAD experiences at this location. This last and final visit ill ever make there (only returned due to the convenience of its location), I showed up for my 12 oclock apt to return an hr and a half later as instructed. Upon my arrival, my car had NOT been MOVED, LET ALONE SERVICED! Employees all standing aroumd NOT knowing whats going on and i received even a phone call to let me know. If you are looking for a GOOD, RELIABLE place to take your car....THIS IS NOT IT!!
Braiden was very nice and understanding. He was able to fix my tire really quick!
Absolutely love this place. I have been going elsewhere for my car services, but no longer. These guys really know what they are doing and how to take care of their customers. I highly recommend this place for both high quality service, and excellent customer service. See you guys next time I need something!
After receiving auto-care at this Firestone location, I realized that not all auto-service businesses are reputable. Many auto-service places overcharge and do not provide quality customer service. We all know as consumers, that paying for maintenance on our vehicles can be expensive and that wherever we spend our hard-earned dollars, our money and business should be valued!Additionally, because the pandemic effected our country many are doing what they can to recover financially. Finding auto-care locations like this particular one is like finding a gem. Not only, was the Manager, Duane Schiele and auto-technician, Dennison Malabaran professional and courteous, but they went above and beyond to be helpful in a time of dire need.Further, because we all rely on vehicles, my appreciation for them and this location exceeds any auto-service I have ever received. I am suggesting that if you want exceptional service, that this is the Firestone location you do business with!Thank you again Duane and Dennison! You really did an awesome job.Valerie Marin
This place is awesome. Called for a quote to put tires on I purchased outside of the company, and he was willing to do it for about half the price of Discount tires. Win for me! The manager Richie is amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and truly honest. Not only have we returned, but we will continue referring family and friends to this location.
Showed up for our tire install and guy said we needed to pay for installation when we already did pay for an install. Then they said we needed an appointment but we had one! Then they messed up on the installation! Richie, the manager said we needed to warranty a tire he installed incorrectly and damaged these brand new tires we just bought. Then he said he installed a damaged tire on my boyfriends wheel and it came damaged from the manufacture but he installed it anyway. Then he said his equipment may be damaged and that could have damaged the tire. He had us drive off the parking lot with a damaged tire and said we needed to use the manufacture warranty to replace it. When Richie took the tire off the wheel in front of us, and it was clear that his shop installed it very incorrectly and damaged the brand new tire and he was not owning up to it and said it was not their problem. Richie kept making up excuses about why it was a warranty issue and wouldn’t simply replace it but kept digging a deeper hole. This place is very sketchy and I would never get a vehicle worked on there ever again. This is a HUGE liability issue. Driving the jeep around with a ripped tire and bubble in the tire can cause serious damage and problems. Not just to the keep but other drivers and us as well. Richie did not care about our safety at all and was not apologetic or sympathetic. He seemed like he just didn’t care about anything
Wonderful customer service and great people who work there. They were very honest and gave me a huge deal on what I needed to get done on my truck. So far they are also the best prices compared to all the other companies I have called. Would definitely recommend. LOW PRICED AND HONEST
They are most competent tire store I have been in! Go see them, they are busy but will find time to help!
Did a great job repairing my tire. Courteous and quick!
Super friendly and fast service. I needed new brakes on a Sunday and Richie and crew totally came through for me! Thanks guys!
Got tires put on a few months ago and didnt notice 2 different size tires were put on my 4 wheel drive and it destroyed my front end on my truck had to get it replaced but when i spoke to Richie he was great and got the tires corrected but after i already had to pay someone else to replace the damaged parts. Long and skinny of it is even tho they fixed the tires it shouldnt have happened in the first place could have been a lot worse
I would give 0 stars if I couldBlonde high school boy doing alignments is not professional & did more harm than good to my truck. Think his name was NickUsually have great service at this location
I had an appointment with another Firestone and when I arrived they were flakes and told me my car wouldnt be able to be gotten to for several hours past my scheduled time! So I called and spoke with Richie... He was great and told me he could get me in and done right away! So personable and awesome!Nick worked on my car (lifetime alignment) and was very clear with what could be done, what it needed, and when... He got it within spec and I was out of there within the time Richie told me I would be.They didnt try to hard sell me on anything, they didnt try to tell me my Audi with 183k miles needed a whole bunch more work done to it, they did point out some minor things like a spot that looked like a leak (I had fixed the leak a few weeks prior, it was just a spot that hadnt gotten cleaned yet), and they complemented me on the condition of the car at its age and mileage!I will be making this Firestone my go to for alignments and other services I cant do myself!GREAT JOB GUYS!THANKS!
Terrible service. Oil change without refilling the oil, alignment resulted in a misaligned steering wheel. And my body on frame van was lifted using the pinch welds and dented my rocker panels. Embarrassing.
My wife and Ive been here a few times for various things for our car and we have been treated really well each time. Employees are professional and helpful. No unnecessary services were recommended, either. Just what I asked for.
On March 18, 2021, I took my car here to get a tire patched. Everything seemed fine. I have gotten my car serviced here before so I thought I could trust them. The next day, I was driving and started hearing loud thuds and then the car would shake so I pulled over. It turns out that the tech didnt torque down my tire. When I checked all of the lug nuts, THEY WERE ALL LOOSE. If it werent for my wheel lock, Im pretty sure the entire tire wouldve fallen off while I was driving on the highway.I called the store and Richie, the manager, picked up and advised me to try and tighten them on my own and drive back to the store so they can check everything. So I did. Supposedly, everything looked fine. I cant even trust that. He gave me a card that was supposed to be for a free oil change, said he would write up the tech because this shouldnt have happened and that there is supposed to be protocol for another manager to check the tires after work was done. This was when I found out that the tech also lost my wheel lock key. Richie told me that they would look for it and that they would call me once they found it.One week goes by and I dont hear anything so I decided that I would follow up. I call Richie and he tells me that they havent found the wheel lock key. I asked him if he would replace it and he said yes but it would take some time and he would call me when he did.Another week goes by and I dont hear anything. I call back to follow up again because at this point, I get anxiety driving around knowing that I dont have a wheel lock key to change my tires if something were to happen. That puts me in a difficult position. Again, he tells me that, its on his list of things to do but they dont have a new wheel lock for me yet. He says it should be easy to get ahold of it and that he would call me once he got it. Its been almost 3 weeks since I last followed up and I still havent heard anything. What Im wondering is if it was so easy, why hasnt it been done? Why am I, the customer, having to follow up for something that you said you would do? The trust has already been broken but the lack of communication and sense of urgency is really what makes this situation even more unacceptable. The fact that ALL of my lug nuts came loose after they patched my tire is not ok. That put my life and other drivers lives in danger. I am appalled at how this has been handled. My friend even looked into what it would take to get a new set of wheel locks with a new wheel lock key and its so simple. Yet why hasnt it been handled? People and service like this is why consumers dont trust third party stores in the first place.
If I could give zero stars I would.I had visited another Firestone Auto Care for an alignment. While there, the shop performed the alignment but twisted and tore my outer tie rod boots in the process.Rather than argue with the shop, I simply replaced them myself.Upon replacing the boots and returning to a different location I informed the service manager of the issues I had experienced with the other shop and specifically asked them to be careful not to tear the brand new tie rod boots I had installed.Sure enough, I got the vehicle back and the tie rod boots were completely twisted up and ripped again. Additionally, the vehicle was pulling tomone side after the alignment was done. The shop then had the nerve to recommend additional services. The sheer level of incompetence and lack of service I experienced here is nothing short of astounding. I simply cannot comprehend how a store can provide this level of service and still be in business.I will not be returning and suggest you avoid it at all costs.
Shout out to Richie! Thank you for the awesome new tires! Your knowledge of what I needed was excellent! My vehicle rides like new again! These guys really took great care of me and my vehicle! I have found my new go to place for tires for sure!
I was greeted with a smile, or so I think what with masks and all, by Richie who was extremely polite. He got my car in early and as it was slow he and I chatted. He is a genuinely awesome person. Friendly, funny, attentive, intelligent, and engaging. This was my first visit to this location as I had normally gone to the Belmar one, however, I have had so many bad experiences there I decided to try a new shop. I will be visiting Richie and his shop from now on.I had an alignment performed. Which, at the Belmar location would take 60-75 min even with an appointment. I was in an out in 30 min. Im completely satisfied with his and the techs work.
Idk I whent back and I got an exelent clerk different technician diferent clerk thanks
My car started having trouble on short notice so Joel helped me out a ton and managed to get my car fixed by the end of the day, even though they were super busy/backed up as it was. I appreciate everyone there!
Nice work by this Firestone store. They got 4 tires for my truck on a Sunday and got them mounted and the spare stowed in less than an hour. Tire tech Drake did a great job. Thank you.
Great service and a can do attitude! Awesome place for tires and auto repairs!!
My daughter took her car in for a inspection on 4/27/19 and got a quote on brakes. She comes home (Oklahoma) 690 miles on 5/17/19 so I can do her brakes to save her money and I find a completely loose lug nut on the back tire and all others were barely hand tight not torqued as I was told they should have been. My advice is to have a manager check ANY tire work done before you leave this shop.
Guys were polite fast and friendly
Very kind and helpful! They fixed our tire and they said they probably shouldnt of, when another place said they wouldnt. Humorous too.
Was very pleased with these guys here I came in for just a valve stem replacement but wasent treated like a low buyer very respectful and the lobby was nice to pass the time.
Terrible will never ever bring a car in there again!!They tell you one price on the phone but when I went in to pick up my car it went up 150.00. Very disappointed
Great friendly service with good prices. They treat you like a person, not a number.I highly recommend this store.
Made an appointment for a car inspection the day before for 8am. Dropped off the car for 3 hrs, they Never even touched it. Called me just a walkin and that theyd have to squeeze me inbetween real appointments. The lady was rude and inconsiderate. And now the seller thinks im messing with him. Wasted my day. Worst experience ever
Dropped off the truck tires in less than a hour and great service!!
I am one of there best customers I always get my oil change here and any recommended services, believe it or not I had to buy 8 tires from Firestone within a year. A couple times I got a nail in my Side wall and had to replace the whole tire and Firestone orders the wrong tire twice! The front desk people can barely work the computer causing to order wrong tires and can’t schedule an appointment! I’ll call and ask can I get an appointment for this weekend they say I have a open spot at 10, I get here no appointment they tell me to leave it it’s going to be a few hours! No I have things I need to do that’s why I called to schedule a appointment. When my tires are worn out I’ll never buy Firestone tires again. 3 hours for a nail in the tire after I scheduled an appointment
Called to schedule an alignment, was told they offer 12-month warranty and I can come in as needed during that time for realignment. I showed up to my appointment and the person behind he counter said they don’t do year-long warranties any longer, just the one-time service, or the lifetime alignment which is just under $200. Bait and switch.
Toni is AMAZING. I found out the tires I got at another location in CA are not the all season tires I thought I purchased and Toni has been amazing helping handle it. It has been a lot of back and forth with the other location and she has just handled it like a champ. Would definitely recommend this place on the pure fact of amazing customer service alone. They are really there to help. They are doing everything they can to make it right even though it was a mistake made by Wheel Works in Newark CA
Order tires from this Firestone for my thirty-year-old 3000GT VR4. I could not be more pleased with the price the service and the professionalism of the staff and mechanics! Their price was about half as much as other places I and they went out of their way to do things right. A big shout-out to Richie Brown store manager!
Exceptional, amazing, awesome customer service from the employees at this Firestone!!
Took over 5 hours to change my tires, and I had an appointment
My family has been doing business with this store for over a decade, theyve have been consistently friendly, honest, and accommodating, they are not predatory or opportunistic like many other shops, I cant appreciate this store enough.
Very nice people did great job got a new set of tires oil change may also help me with my lights
Good service fair prices. They can however be slow and pressure you in to buying tires.
Unfriendly, rude staff, unprofessional and incompetent as well. Avoid this place and safe your time.
Came in for an oil change. Great customer service! Got me in and out in under 30 minutes and let me use a coupon I found online. They have great coffee in the waiting room! Awesome place!
I had an appointment scheduled for 3:00 pm yesterday (Nov 5) and arrived at 2:30 to drop off my car for a tire patch, balance, rotation and alignment. When I arrived I gave the front desk worker, Toni, my name and phone number and she asked if I was there for a tire patch and rotation and I said that I would also like an alignment. She did not respond but instead responded to her coworker about something they were having a side conversation of. I then proceeded to wait for 2 hours after which someone came out and told me that they couldnt find a leak in my tire but that they rotated the tire. I asked him if they also gave the car an alignment and he said no because it was not on the sheet he was given. I then proceeded to ask the lady who checked me in, Toni, if she had entered in the fact that I was wanted an alignment and she said that she didnt check me in and I reminded her that she did indeed check me in and that I had asked for an alignment. Her response was well I would have written down that you wanted an alignment if you asked, but you didnt. I did not respond because there is no point in arguing with someone like that. Then I waited a other hour for them to align my car. A three hour wait for a scheduled appointment is unacceptable, especially given how unprofessional the staff member was. If she made a mistake in not hearing me ask for an alignment and had admitted so, that is fine, everyone makes mistakes, but the fact that she rudely said that I blatantly did it ask her is very unprofessional and poor customer service. She did not even remember checking me in and certainly couldnt have remembered if I asked about an alignment or not. Not only this but I also observed the Manager very disrespectfully speaking to a dissatisfied customer who came in to show his concern for scratches on his car that had apparently appeared during the time frame that he had dropped it off and picked it up. The costumer was very respectful and humble in his concerns and accusations while the manager was very defensive and rude in his response saying that they did not scratch his car. When he stated that he would put in a claim for him, the customer thanked him and left, then he proceeded to say that he didnt care about the costumers car and continued to berate him. What you say in the confines of your own office is one thing, but when you say things like that in the public lobby in front of other customers that is, again, unacceptable and shows a low level of professionalism. I have had great experiences with Firestone in other locations in the past and it is very unfortunate that this particular location shows such little regard for the costumers. They have lost a costumer as a result of their rudeness and low level of professionalism.
Scott Farley, owner of Rocky Mountain Driveline, wants to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to the team at Firestone for their great work and customer service! Good job guys!
They will try to rip you off. They will lie and diagnose the issue with the worst case. Very rude management and if you’re a female don’t go alone. They will try to screw your over. Take someone with you who is knowledgeable and get a second opinion if need be. Come to find out my issue was a 80 fix which they tried saying was around 800 for something else Italy diff.
Was in town for family stuff. Thought my battery had bit the dust. It was nearly five years old. Brought my vehicle in to this Firestone because I wanted an Interstate Battery replacement and they were listed as a dealer. The tech took in my vehicle, tested the battery and discovered it wasnt a bad battery after all, just poor maintenance on my part! I didnt have to dump a bunch of cash on a new battery and was back on the road again. Its a nice feeling to know there are still honest people at repair shops! Thank you!
Pretty disappointed with the service I received today. I dropped my car off at about 10:45 for an 11:00 appointment for an oil change. I come back two hours later at 1:00 PM to pick it up, only to be told it hasn’t been even been started yet. And then sit there and wait another hour for it to be done, all while they try to up sell me to buy more things that aren’t needed. And to top it all off, when it was finally done and I tried to voice that I was upset to the manager, he cut me off and didn’t even let me finish what I was saying, only to give me attitude and tell me that I should’ve expected this and an appointment doesn’t guarantee me to be seen quickly.
They accommodated me even though their workload is high right now, and are understaffed, they were able to make time for me in a short time. Great multi tasking. They used a seat and floor protector, which I am thankful for the respect in keeping my vehicle interior clean.
Dont buy tires from here! If you get a flat and put fix a flat in it, there policy is this voids the warranty of tire!! They will not fix it if it has fix a flat in it. They would rather you sit on the highway and fork over tow money!! I will not be buying tires from here again.
Had a flat on my tractor. (Front skid steer size tire) Called a couple places and they were unwilling to help and rude. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful, offering solutions. I ended up going in and the tech helped set my bead and air up the tire. Had to get some mud out of it to seat properly too.All of this was done on goodwill. Said I owed nothing and sent me home with a useable tire.
Checked in at 12:01PM for 4 tires mounted and balanced. Asked what was taking so long at 1:56PM, was told, it takes about an hour told him it was almost 2 and he said, there was a miscommunication and the tech went to lunch not even kidding. 2:20PM when we were leaving and tech comes running with the spare they forgot. Wow, just wow. Find someplace else people
These guys always do a great job on my car and have been honest about what it needs or doesnt need at that point in time. Get all my tires from them because of warranty and flat fixes.
Yep. They have lots of tires.. too bad the color selection is so limited 🤣🤣 blue tires would be cool! 😜
Everyone here went above and beyond to make sure that my vehicle was in perfect running condition in a very difficult time... Thats when people truly shine is when things are not easy!!!
I made an appointment over a week a go. Yesterday, I drove 2.5 hours to said appointment. (Steamboat to Lakewood) upon arrival, I was told that the technician was not in and my alignment couldn’t be preformed. The guy at the counter said he tried calling & calling. I didn’t have a SINGLE missed call. Maybe Bc I didn’t have service on my drive?! Or maybe he didn’t actually call— I’ll never know. I will NEVER return to this location! Thankfully, Firestone @ Broadway took great care of me so I didn’t drive 2.5 hours back (with my 3 children..) and no services completed!
I had drop my car off at 8:30 in the morning. Was told i should receive a call about work order and that my car should be ready around the afternoon .Have decided to walk to work that day I work really close and I had to be to work at 9:00 and i figure my car would be ready by 2.00 . I never received a call so after work i walk back over to check whats going on .It took 5-10 min to talk to someone at the front desk. They were bearly doing there point inspection on it it took another 5-10 min for that .I went in for brakes and a couple tires and a oil change . I was told that i couldnt get 2 tires for my vecicle that i needed all 4 . So i just did the brakes and an oil change .I was told it would be ready an a couple hours .So i said okHad to find a way home. I waited for a couple hours no phone call . So now its 4-4:30 i call there waiting for parts to come in .My vechicle was not ready unstill 10 minutes before closeing i had to find a way down there now or i would have to probably wait to pick it up the next day .For my first time experience with them vary bad .Never going back .Follow up after the next day witch would be saturday nottice oil leaks that was never there notice they didnt clean up oil spills where the break reservoir is if not i have a leak now will monitor to see if it persists.
I had mixed feelings with this Firestone. I went here to get my fuel pump replaced. They got it done quickly and I assumed thatd be the last Id see of them. Well turns out the fuel filter wasnt fully sealed and when I pulled into my driveway gas just started pouring out of the car (about 2 gals). They did end up paying for the tow and obviously didnt charge me for the reinstallment of the fuel filter but the fact that I was leaking that much gas on the drive back home was a scary after thought. Car drives fine now, but wouldve been nice to have them do it right the first time.
Professional, quick turnaround time for completion.
These guys are Great! I would Definitely Recommend them.We took both of our cars in, to get a full set of new Snow Tires put on. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, (worked with Jeff & Nate & another young man). We got out in & out, in the time they had quoted, and the total price on our New Blizzaks were the best in town.
Horrible customer service and a complete waste of my time! Today I had a appointment to get my oil changed for 2:00. I have had this appointment for well over a week and completely cleared out my schedule to be there on time. Even missing a family party to make it to my oil change appointment. So I arrive to firestone a few minutes before my appointment and the women at the front desk rudely says to me “ we need to cancel your appointment, we don’t have time for you today.” I said well I have had a appointment for over a week so how can’t I be fit in? She goes in a stern voice we just can’t we are over booked. I am very aware things happen and that is fine but I was never called to cancel my appointment, the women talked to me very rudely and never even apologized for the inconvenience, and Firestone completely waisted my time. Not to mention I was getting this oil change before a big trip and there was no other time I could do it which is why I made a appointment in the first place. Then I asked the women why she didn’t call me to cancel instead of wasting my time making me come all the way there.... and she snapped at me lm only one person there is nothing I can do. So she just had me leave without a word....The entire situation was out of line, disrespectful, and a complete inconvenience.
Is it normal for them to close before posted hours? Showed up shortly after 630 for a quick tire check. Closed and locked :( good thing pep boys was open.
Good customer service! The technician actually took me out to my car to physically show me the problems and discuss options rather than just hearing it from the counter person. Ill definitely come back for more service!
Thank you to the Manager Ray and the Technician Austin. They truly help and have a passion for all cars and answer all questions. I look forward to being a longtime customer. Thank you again.
BEWARE!!! WILL TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! I took my car in for an oil change, and called for a quote before I took it in. They looked up my car and quoted me $47. A synthetic blend is what my car is supposed to take. When they were working on my car they told me I needed a new battery and a new air filter, both of which were a lie. I just bought a new battery less than a year ago and clean the air filter regularly. Upon picking up my car, my bill came to $65. They used a full synthetic which isnt necessary and wasnt quote. Stay away from this business as their goal is to just take advantage of you by recommending and using things that are not necessary.
Worst firestone location Ive ever been to. Walk in and wait 10min for someone to even come to the desk to talk to you. Make an appt for an oil change and youll sitll be waiting 2 hrs. Drive further to avoid this place at all costs. Corporate needs to clean this place up.
Very straightforward service. The counter guy was very professional and the shop as a whole reached my expectations starting the flat repair at the right appointed time. Moreover, my rental car was with the low tire light on and they added air to those tires. It seems Hertz is doing well having Firestone as a partner.
I took a flat tire in to be patched. No customers in the waiting area, no vehicles in the repair bays. The Manager was standing there talking to another employee about Von Miller. He took time out of his busy day to tell me that they would not repair the tire because the tread depth was less than 3/32. I left and went to DISCOUNT TIRE. They had 12 customers in the waiting area and every single bay was full with a tech working on every car. The guy MEASURED the tire and said it was 5/32 and they had no problem repairing the tire. Get this.......no charge for the repair. If the Firestone guy didnt save me $20.00 by sending me to DISCOUNT, the review would have been 1 star.
Dylan helped me out with a tire fix while my normal go to Midas’s turned me away because they are to busy to air my tires.Quick and friendly service! Definitely will be coming here now
I ordered 2 tires online, and sight unseen, I was told that they ordered 4 tires. That was the first attempt to over sell me. Everything that followed was suspect, and I was told I should buy 4 new tires, and get an alignment. The back tires are just fine, and even when I had previous service performed at Jeep, they agreed with my assessment. Additionally they did not say that I needed any alignment performed, however they recommended I replace the 2 front tires. The salesperson even called me and told me my jeep looked weird, and that I should of course buy all the unneccessary services and tires. I dont respect or appreciate the high pressure sales pitch that was attempted in person and over the phone. I will not return to this location. When paying heard the same oversell performed on another customer that had to apply for a line of credit to cover all the suggested repairs. This is borderline predatory, and unethical.
The older managers are great and admit when they dont know. Fair about pricing and refinds if they cant figure things out. One younger counter staff person doesnt listen so well, but mostly my experiences here have been excellent.
I use to love and trust Firestone but after today I have to say, there is no way I will ever use any Firestone for anything.I took my car there for a simple break repair, was called and told I needed over $1000 dollars worth of work done on it.Now first Id like to say, I had my car in last week for an oil change and they said they did a complementary inspection on my car and all was well. After taking my car someplace else for a second opinion I was told that everything but one of the things they quoted to me I did not need, and their cost was only $400 to repair it with a life time guarantee on the brakes! So I have to ask...Why does Firestone think it is okay to charge almost double for a simple break job, and do they encourage their car mechanics to fraudulently make up work to do so unsuspecting people will plainly get ripped off?Two thumbs down Firestone, you have lost a long time good costumer!
Great service, really fast!
BUYER BEWARE MARCH 2019My girlfriend brought in her Prius for a popped tire and a cracked rim. We dropped it off Sunday and were supposed to get it back Wednesday (4 days). They ordered the wrong wheel and it took until Saturday to get the vehicle back (7 days). They knocked $30 off the total for the delays, but turns out they REALLY SCREWED UP THE ALIGNMENT. They wanted to charge us $80 to fix what they broke. We’re never going back here.
Poor customer service and took two and a half hours longer than stated. Didnt complete my credit check to get the Firestone card, which wouldve saved me 5%.
Good store
The guy who scheduled my service appointment was very nice and informative. I had already bought a set of tires and were needing someone to mount the new ones and dispose of my old ones. They were able to get me in the very next day first thing in the morning, which couldnt be more perfect. While the service did take longer than I had expected everyone was very nice and got what I needed done. The reason for only 3 stars is because a week later (I dont drive very often) I was looking at my tires trying to clean them up a little since they still had the grease on em from being mounted. I wiped everything up and there are scrape marks on each of my wheels from them putting the tires on. Its very upsetting that they cant even mention Oh hey, Im sorry we did scrape up the wheels a little while putting the tires on. Nope, they said nothing and let me find out on my own. To be honest I, myself have hit 1 of my wheels once and all of the other wheels were in perfect condition before Firestone put their hands on them.
Horrible Customer Service1st experience i was up sold by $200, left alignment was pulling to the right.2nd balance, rotation, alignment. Front-end shakes like its about to fall apart, still pulls right. Called to resolve the problem. They trIed to say it was my fault.....???? NOT RECOMMENDED
Took my car here to have my Firestone tires checked out. They are less than a year old and already wearing unevenly. They immediately blamed it on the alignment without even checking the alignment 1st. When they did check it they said it was off and that was causing the wear and they found a nail in it which they just repaired without asking me 1st. They also charged $80 for the alignment and $20 for the repair I didnt even ask for. Firestone tires suck and their service is expensive. I left feeling like I got ripped off. My advice, go to discount tire. They actually stand behind their guarantees and they dont overcharge for their services. Im really surprised Firestone is still in business after all the recalls they have had. I would never go here for anything again.
I use this store for work on both the fleet car I drive and my personal car. Always great service
My appointment was at 12 noon but they did not take my truck in till 1:10
My wife came in to get work done and the guy at the counter started talking about work done on the vehicle done by a back yard mechanic. The back yard mechanic has had his ASE certificates in many fields for over 20 years. I called and talked to another counter guy that did not know if Ray even had any ASE. I will NOT bring any of my family cars there ever again. There was a lot more said but will not go into it. Every one needs to watch out for people like that. Gives good companies bad names
Associate got annoyed and short with me when I refused to get the upgraded deal. My car left smelling of burning oil. I like this company, but will go to another location next time.
Mark got me in right away without and appointment and after an inspection said everything was safe. He could have easily sold me something I didnt need but he was honest and I didnt spend a dime. The auto repair business needs more of this. Thanks!
Great store! Love the products and work completed. Very knowledgable!
So far so good! Walked in after wasting 2 hrs at the shop in uptown, showed Don what I needed, he said no problem! And he started working on it immediately. Much more knowledgable and professional staff here!
Went here to get my tire rack tires installed. Was happy with the low price. They told me they couldnt install my tires without replacing my TPMS, an extra $320. When I told them I would take my tires and leave they forgot to put my tires in my car and when they did they just threw them in, so I had to rearrange them myself to actually be able to see out my back window. They also took off all of my air valve caps and didnt replace them.I got my tires installed with another company, no problem, without having to get a new TPMS. I will not return to a Firestone branch anywhere ever.
FINAL UPDATE 1/18/2017 Changing my rating from 3 to 1 star after finally getting my alignment corrected at another shop. My new tires got toe wear on them in less than 2k miles. I went back to have the alignment checked again; although, I doubt they even looked at it. This wasted my time and productivity on multiple occasions, two new tires, and the cost of having the service done by a real mechanic.Heres the full story:Went in for an alignment job in November. I got my car back and found the boot over the steering gear was twisted around the inner tie rod making it liable to tear. Its an easy fix, but a red flag none-the-less.They did call ahead saying they needed to install jam bolts to the inner tie rods, which would increase the cost to around $320 -BTW this is a simple alignment made 3x more expensive by taking off the outer tie rods and threading common-sized nuts to the inner tie rod stud. I could do that in the parking lot in thirty minutes myself, but I agreed thinking it was worth saving time or at least being able to drive home in a safe-functioning vehicle. I came to find the bill was even higher than estimated by a large factor, but this time nobody told me about throwing on an extra $100. Its illegal to raise the bill without notice, but tricky to prove considering they did call once before about the increase before conveniently forgetting about the second increase.I paid the bill thinking they must have worked hard getting those wheels straight. So hard, in fact, the tech must have been so overwhelmed he forgot to close the hood after the service AND later in the week when I brought it back for a quality assurance check. I had to come back after finding the inner tie rods had not been removed from the vehicle nor had they ever needed to be. They fixed the billing problem - so no harm, no foul there. The most luck I had is when I asked for tires twice only to hear something like yeah, yeah, well get you some, and never added insult to injury by installing mediocre tires to top the bad service. They did refund me for the work they didnt do, but itll never be worth the time and patience of having to work through all the unnecessary quality assurance appointments not to mention a battery of excuses and dismissive responses. I hope this helps.
This place is a joke. They lie about the service they do... Not rotating tires when they say they are. They tried to plug a tire and messed it up.
Fast, polite service, nothing was wrong with my vehicle when getting back from a routine maintenance trip. Pretty damn expensive, but I wasnt the one paying, so not a big deal for me.
They broke multiple parts on a simple rotor/brake service. Ive been here 9 hours. Biggest waste of time. Stay away.
Busy and unable to provide timeframe for new tire to be completed. Thats with the flat tire off of the vehicle entirely
Every time I do business with the employees at the location, it never really feels like a business transaction. They take care of what I need and do it with a smile.
Would give them less however, the manager fixed that. Made an appt for 9am Saturday morning for an oil change, car care package and an alignment. Was told it should be done by around 12ish. around 1pm after my husband had missed work was told it would be ready at 2pm. Was called at 2pm and was told that they broke a nut on my car changing the tire and it would be an additional 2 hours and my alignment has not been started. By this time I was so mad at them. They proceeded to tell me that my car which I did buy used in December has 62k miles on it needed 7k worth of work. They did give me my oil change for free however, I will never go back to this place again. I will take my business back to my little mom and pop shop I like to go too.
Gave me a wrong diagnosis of a faulty windshield pump and a ridiculous quote to fix it. I found someone else for less and trusted that the pump was faulty as they said. After replacing the pump, my washer fluid was still not working. Turns out that the line had become disconnected. A $10 fix that cost me over $150!!!! I thought Firestone could be trusted. Never again!
Very good experience. Out of stock on my battery. Upgraded to a more powerful battery at the same price.
