If I could give 10 stars I would! Randi was amazing and super sweet! She goes above and beyond when it come to helping you figure out what u need for your car! (Especially if u have not a single clue about cars like me.) I will continue to keep coming here as long as she works here. Great service!

Ill start by saying that I just went to test the battery of my car, the person who tried to test the battery had no idea what he was doing, he asked me to turn off the vehicle and I told him that if he turned it off I had no way to start the car, He replied that he could turn it on and I agreed to turn off the vehicle, when I tested the battery he could not tell if the battery or the alternator was bad, I tried to start the car but I could not, I asked them to replace the battery but it was raining and they dont do battery replacement when is raining, I told them I would leave my car and come back when the rain stopped, when I came back I had to change the battery myself because it was still drizzling. but guess what? They also could not offer the appropriate tool to be able to replace the battery so I had to return to my house and get the tool and be able to replace the battery, then I had to return a third time to the store to return the old battery so that they could return it to me. $ 18 and I noticed that whoever served me kind of joked about how many times I had to go back to the store. dont worry guys, I dont think Ill ever come back.

I had to replace the batteries on my truck and Jenn at the Lakewood store was a dream! I needed 4 and they only had three. She called the other location in Howell, handled the payment and arranged my pick up with an associate at the other location (he was very nice Im sorry I dont recall your name sir. He even walked the last battery to my car for me and placed it in my trunk). We will definitely be back! Thanks Jenn!

I went to AutoZone because my check engine light was on. Jenn gave the fix finder to plug in. I couldt find the place to plug it in, and Jenn went out of her way to do it for me. She was nice to every customer. She is a big ASSET to AutoZone. Thanks Jenn!!

Spacious store and fast service. Twice when I went in because my bulb was out they offered to come out to my car and check if it just needed to be tightened, which it did and they did it for free! I will definitely be back!

I’ve been having some concerns with my 2013 6.2L V8 motor. I frequently shop between AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts and I’ve always believed AutoZone to be a step ahead- but never had any reasoning to justify it until now. I went into the Lakewood NJ store this evening and met a gentleman by the name of Jon who I spoke to on the phone about some spark plugs and head gasket information. I insisted that my motor was a 6.2L V8 because that was how it was sold to me at the dealer- and the sticker under the hood confirmed that as well as the dealer info.Jon took one glance at my motor and informed me it was indeed a 5.0 liter. So apparently the salesperson at the dealership misdirected me into buying it as a different motor. Jon not only pointed me in the right direction but he wouldn’t allow me to buy the gasket sealer I wanted because he insisted it would never work with the type of gasket material my motor had. Turns out the hood had been replaced (even though I bought the truck brand new). He showed me how it had been painted. He said sometimes it happens when they ship them on a tractor trailer - someone should inform the dealership of that!Jon literally saved my motor and my life. The level of expertise that was bestowed upon me by this gentleman was phenomenal. He actually cared and you know; it’s hard to put a value on that. Invaluable expertise to say the least. I am in debt to this gentleman and because of that- I’m now strictly an AutoZone Parts guy for life.I can’t thank you enough Jon. Somebody should recognize when customer service exceeds the boundaries of everyday transactions. This guy deserves a raise and some serious recognition for his level of expertise. I would’ve never gotten this type of service through Advance Auto- they just do not have the knowledge and your company should be proud of that. It takes a lot to impress me. Jon blew me away- and he did it with kindness and professionalism that I was beginning to fear no longer existed in this community of auto parts sales. It’s all about sales right? I beg to differ. It’s about caring and being honest. You need more than 5 stars for situations like this! Fantastic experience!

Place is clean and staff are friendly. Cashier caught a glimpse of my military ID and gave me a discount without me even having asked! Absolutely floored that he did so, as I typically dont usually ask. Will definitely be using this one over the other local ones if I need something when Im in the area.

I wish all people in this world were as knowledgeable and nice as Samson!!!!!Wow I wrote the above Review about Samson but today Im adding to my review I came to the store today to change a head lightbulb in a chevy express van which is no easy matter and Marcos and Jen took care of me from A to Z! If all the stores out there had half as good of customer service as them the world would be a much better place!

Great store with helpful staff. Shelves are neat and organized. They usually always have the parts I am looking for. They even came out to my car so I can core out my battery and I got 10 dollars! Location is a bit hard to get to as traffic in lakewood is horrendous, but the store is everything you could want in a parts store.

Samson, aka (shimshon) is a shining beacon to move go to when you walk in. Never seen someone so eccentric & helpful to all cultures. And Tri-lingual as well! Give them the 5 stars!

Was at the store only one person working on the from was busy with a customer for a few minutes and I was having a hard time finding the product I needed so I walked near the lady in the front and I nicely said excuse me what aisle can I find these types of things and she just started screaming at me how rude I am but afterwards a really nice guy helped me out and took care of me

Poor excuse. Very little stock, barely had the oil weight I needed in any brand. Didnt even have a filter for my vehicle for a complete oil change. And the last time I checked, business hours are open hours, not the time that you show up to work there. Save your time and go to the pep boys about a mile north on 9.

Incompetance Inc. Beware of Lakewood store! If this is how all AutoZone stores are managed its a wonder theyre still in business. Ordered a part on Sunday and I was told it would be in the next day. Went to pick it up the following day and it wasnt in. No big deal... called the following day and was disconnected three times before I got through and still no part. Continued calling each consecutive day hoping this would be the day... The fifth day passes, I call and ask for the manager who tells me they have no record of any part being ordered! You can imagine my frustration. With incompetence like this Its no wonder Amazon is taking over the industry who incidentally I ended up getting the part from.

We still wait there for 2 more minutes and we just ended up leaving because they never came to help is at all... They kept talking, They wonder why theyre getting underpaid. Well thats the reason. Customer service is a disgrace, at least on Sunday mornings. The woman with the dark hair tells customers to hold on with a rude finger in the air while she talks on the phone with her friends. She is also very rude to customers, saying things like thats what i said when a customer politely confirms what she told them. Then, both employees disappear to the back for ten minutes while customers fill the line, waiting to check out. Go elsewhere.

Subpar customer service and prices that are double what they are at Walmart.They do however have a tool loaning program and an oil recycling container and I give them credit for that.
