Great selection of some real cool stuff. Really glad I came across this gem tucked away. I almost don’t want anyone else to find it and buy up all the amazing treasures, but such a cool shop deserves the business. Great prices and friendly staff. I picked up a couple action figures I had been looking for previously, for a really fair price. I’ll definitely be going back.

Excellent shop! Ive visted nearly all the vintage toy shops in the South sound area. I stopped by Hyper Sonic today for the first time, and it is by far my favorite. Best prices around on action figures, excellent selection and wonderful, helpful, friendly welcoming people. They even went and got a box from their storage area so I could find some vintage figure accessories! I will definitely be a regular here!

Super small shop. I visited and I believe there were around 8 people in there including the store employees which was a little tight for me. But their prices are great, their selection is up and coming, and very nice owners. I would suggest swinging in and getting your retro game or toy fix!

Some friends and I were looking up a place to get comics nearby after seeing a movie, and this place was closest. It had a few boxes of loose issues on the floor, but that wasnt quite what we were looking for.This shop is a small quaint little hole in the wall game store. It has a lot of action figures, games for consoles as far back as atari, a significant collection of anime, and all well organized into sections and in alphabetical order. The prices were mostly fair and reasonable.The store couldve done with some music. While the place was clean, it was uncomfortable. It might have been an off day, since this was our first visit, but the store was empty. There were two workers, one guy sitting behind the counter playing games (no complaints there. Its a game store.) and one guy sitting cross legged on the ground beside the counter eating and scraping his plate for about 5 minutes straight with quiet game combat noises in the background... Needless to say, it was an uncomfortable ambience.This is the kind of store I would have loved going to in my childhood. Growing up and visiting this wondrous collection of games, toys, cartoons, anime, comics, etc would have been like an adventure every time. If I lived closer, Id likely visit again. First impressions are important, but I dont hold it against a place if my first visit isnt amazing. To be fair, it was free comic book day, so I could understand why they would be empty and perhaps caught off guard. For now, my rating stands, but if Im in the area again and Im looking for an anime blueray set, Im willing to check in again.

Being stationed at Ft. Lewis made this places a very common stop for me on the weekends. Over about a period of two months of stopping in the store, I actually became friends with the owners and Im very proud to say that. Ill never forget this place. The store owners Andy and Alex have ALL of the bases covered from movies, toys, anime and pretty much anything youre probably into if you collect stuff from the 80s and 90s.

Its a small place, but they have a surprisingly large selection of classic games and anime. Plus some anime related figures. Prices are decent.

Cute little small business video game and anime store. Great variety of video games and figurines but anime selection is smaller than I had hoped. The guys in there are very friendly and gave me a great deal on anime.

A local pace I can come to over and over, very welcoming and family friendly.

The guys running this place are friendly and helpful and fun to talk with. They are pretty knowledge about a lot of comic-video games-scifi-etc stuff. I walked in with $50 and walked out with a vintage Ray Stantz 12 inch action figure, complete with proton pack, trap and air sensor, Anakin 4 inch action figure with light saber, Darth Vader 4 inch action figure with interrogation droid, NES Gauntlet 2 and half a dozen Spider-man comics. I felt rich!
