A surprise of the sweetest kind. Havent lived in the area long. Stopped in today and was delighted to find a great assortment of delicious confections still available at noon! Apple cider and pumpkin spice cake donuts with a light glaze and just right amount of spice in both wow tastes like Fall. And my girls all-time favourite lemon filled and a generous lemony tangy center generously sprinkled with powdered sugar. Yummmm! They open at 5:30 am so the next goal is to get there early and gobble a few hot glazed and chug some ice cold milk. Donut heaven...

Always a great experience here. Friendly staff, fresh donuts, and hot coffee all at a very reasonable price. This has been my go to spot for donuts for the past 30 years and not changing that anytime soon.

Lived in neighborhood since 2003 first trip here was today. First off as is my thing with reviews. This is a VERY Bike friendly business. (2 bike racks!) I am pretty sure I was talking the owner. Extremely nice. The doughnuts looked amazing. They tasted great too. They have the standard most popular styles of traditional doughnuts you are sure to find a doughnut for everyone here. I got a half dozen the price was extremely reasonable at less than a dollar each. I was convinced to have a coffee too (Which was tough because I didnt have my coffee cup bike holder.) so I sat there and had one of the smoothest coffees I have had in a long time. So reward yourself for getting your family doughuts like i did and dont pass up the coffee. It absolutely was worth it. I passed 3 other large doughnut shops to come here. This was a smart move. I will definitely be back.

Great shop that has youre classics donuts no fancy cookie/cereal/candy topped. That being said they are so light and fluffy that Im craving a dozen right now.

We found this place on Google after searching for donuts near us. We didn’t want to do a chain and this was the first that came up. After reading other positive reviews, we decided to give it a try.The bakery was easy to find, had plenty of parking and was clean. The staff was super pleasant and friendly and didn’t mind us taking a little time to decide what donuts we wanted in our dozen. The donuts were delicious and they had a nice variety on hand, even for it being a little later in the day, as well as really fair prices. We would definitely go back again.

A little disappointed, it didn’t exactly meet the hype. I don’t judge books by it’s cover but the inside isn’t a site for sore eyes. Staff is very pleasant and courteous. To my surprise the donut holes are more softer than the donuts, which leads me to wonder about the yeast and pastry dough ?

Doughnut Pantry is as much a treasure of Lakewood as the other special independently owned / family unique businesses there.The quality of the doughnuts - any one of the great variety - has been steady during the 23 years whenever I popped in. The quality is matchless - superior to Dunkin Donuts and to another franchise.The premises are clean including the windows. The energy of the staff is friendly and cheerful.

YUM! I dont know why I waited so long to stop into this place! It is a small shop, with short hours, but the bakery items are on point! They use traditional donut recipes and make them simply and perfectly. Their pastry dough is once again a simple flavor profile, but exactly what one would want in a truly good pastry. Their almond puff pastry is to die for! Unfortunately, I am only in the area once a month, but I make sure I make a stop and drop some dough and stock up on pastries for the next few days!

This place is awesome! Doughnuts are way better then the chain places (try the blueberry cake, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside). The people are so friendly and courteous. Kids give it a thumbs up 👍

The donuts have a crispness to the outside and a softness on the inside thats just amazing. I used to get a dozen for work each week, but even with work from home I make a weekly trip for a donut and coffee for myself. So worth it.

Ive gone here for donuts there times now and they are excellent. Don not waste your money anywhere else. The price here is phenomenal!

We love this place. They have the best doughnuts around. If you enjoy small family style bakery that opens at the crack of dawn this is your place. They close around 10ish. So get there early.

Although I am a fan of trendy donut places with outlandish donut options, sometimes its nice to just have a no frills, regular donut. The Doughnut Pantry delivers on that excellently while still having a variety of donut options. A favorite in the morning when guests are in town visiting.

I have been going here since 1982 and love visiting when in Lakewood. Staff is very cheerful and give a great greeting. The donuts are always fresh. Coffee smells great and the dining area is clean. Restroom is locked amd available upon request. This makes it very clean. Highly recommended.
